Abstract

Child’s growth and development has many aspects. But, in a fact, peopleare only focus on cognitive aspect (it’s called mathematic-logicintelligence). Not only mathematic-logic intelligence, linguisticintelligence has an important role on people’s success too. We candevelop linguistic intelligence at home by family (parent). Family (parent)is one of learning resources for kindergarten children. Linguisticintelligence can be developed by good stimulation. How can do it? We cando it with creative fun activity or creative fun game. Those activity isdesigned and done by parent. Kindergarten children will be happy, andtheir linguistic intelligence will be developed.

Abstract

This research has a tittle "Attractive Learning Model to Increase Learning Interest for Kindergarten Student", because of there are kindergartens which haven't attractive learning model fully. The goal of this research is increasing learning interest of kindergarten student with attractive learning model. This model is a integrated of learning, playing, and singing. So, student don't know that they are learning something. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects are students at TK Pertiwi 37 Patalan, Jetis, Bantul, DIY in group A and group B. Before do it, researcher gives trainning to 4 teachers about attractive learning model. And then, researcher does the action in 2 cyclus (every cyclus has 3 acting). The result of this research is increasing learning interest of kindergarten student. Key words: Attractive Learning Model, Learning Interest, Kindergarten Student

Abstract

Family is a smallest unit than society unit. Family, especially parents can be an effective learning resource by utilization in instructional process for children at home. They can be the model which is imitated by children. With social cognitive theory from Bandura which is had an observational learning theory, family who’s be model can educate and bring up the children with their characteristics.Instructional process which is given at home by family must be synchronous with school experience and school lesson, especially moral. Example, children is touch about ABCD in the school, but they are touch about EFGH at home. It’s not good for children. So, it must be an effective communication between family (parents) and teacher at school.Family is model for children. And then, they must show interest in a children problem and have a certain attitude. Children will imitate anything which is done by people around them. So, family (parents) who’s be model should give a good atmosphere learning for children, and should give good lesson and good experience for children.

Abstract

Kindergarten children who have 4-6 ages old are include in early childhood  who have 0-8 ages old. Early childhood is the golden age which is observed.  Every life span development in early childhood should be our focus, because every step has the special unique character. Some people said that if child under 4 years old intellectual development  is not maximize, .\'0 it can he stop unti! 7 years old. The stimulation which is give as same as with individual child character: one oj them is learning style of child. Every child has different learning  style. They are visual learning style, auditory learning style, and kinesthetic learning style, Stimulation with unique rhararter and  learning style are  good focus  in  growth and  development of kindergarten children.   Key Words: Growth and Development, Kindergarten Children, Learning Style.

Abstract

Bangsa Indonesia sedang mengalami keterpurukan dekade ini, karena minim sekali insan-insan cendikia yang berkarakter. Pendidikan karakter menjadi sangat penting dan menjadi sorotan, sehingga pemerintah mencanangkan pendidikan karakter sebagai simbol dunia pendidikan saat ini. Namun, penanaman karakter yang kuat tidaklah semudah membalik telapak tangan. Seharusnyalah dilakukan sejak usia kanak-kanak. Masa kanak-kanak yang lazim disebut masa keemasan (golden age) sangat rentan terhadap stimulasi, baik itu stimulasi yang benar maupun yang salah. Seperti teori tabularasa, anak diibaratkan kertas putih yang mudah untuk diberi tulisan apapun, atau laksana botol kosong yang bisa diisi air apapun. Hal ini karena dalam otak anak terdapat ribuan neuron yang sedang terkoneksi satu sama lain. Untuk menanamkan karakter sejak masa kanak-kanak, perlu intervensi mendalam pada pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) melalui indigenousasi ke-Indonesia-an sebagai jembatannya, yaitu pembelajaran yang kembali pada tradisi dan budaya (learning by culture).   Kata kunci: Indigenousasi, Karakter, PAUD
