Abstract

Universities both state and swaste make various efforts to win the competition in attracting students, among others by providing various facilities and services that can provide satisfaction for students. One of them is the Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University. This study is aimed at analyzing student satisfaction with the services obtained so far at the Hamzanwadi University Faculty of Engineering using data mining techniques, namely by using C4.5 algorithm or commonly known as the decision tree. Some of the attributes used in this study are to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the services contained in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Hamzanwadi: costs, facilities, service and loyalty. After the experiments were carried out on datasets obtained from questionnaires for 100 students, the results of accuracy were 81.07%. The classification results using the C4.5 algorithm of 81.07% are considered to be used to measure the level of student satisfaction with services at the Hamzanwadi University Faculty of Engineering.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v1i1.892

Abstract

Wirdul jalil is a collection of prayers and dhikr compiled by TGH. Afifudin Adnan is a student of Mawlanasysyaikh Tuan Guru Kyai Hajji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid and also the founder of the Al Mukhtariyah Al Islamiyah Foundation. Wirdul jalil has become compulsory reading for congregations and students of the Al Mukhtariah Al Islamiyah Foundation and almost every year, the Al Mukhtariyah Al Islamiyah Islamic boarding school prints wirdul jalil. Then it was distributed to students and the congregation of Al Mukhtariyah Al Islmiyah to replace wirdul that had been damaged by age or lost. With the above problems, the author intends to design and build a mobile application that can produce jam'ah and students of the Al Mukhtariah Al Islamiyah Foundation in getting wirdul jalil without having to print it first, with this application congregations and students of the Al Mukhtariah Al Foundation Islamiyah can install it on a mobile device. That way, the congregation and students can read Wirdul Jalil practically on their mobile devices, and in the end the application can be used further.

Abstract

One of several forms of handicrafts that are widely sold in East Penakak Masbagik Village is pottery. UD. Barokah is one of the shops selling pottery products. However, the transaction system used so far still uses a manual system where buyers directly come to the pottery sales place to find or buy the preferred item. With the increase in the current electronic-based sales system, it is necessary for business actors to implement an online-based sales system (e-commerce) so that the marketing reach of goods becomes wider, one of them is by utilizing the android platform which is almost owned by most people these days. With the application of an Android-based online e-commerce system, it is expected to help increase sales of pottery at UD. Barokah especially to deal with the pandemic period where some conventional buying and selling activities are starting to decrease due to the limited community activities in public areas

Abstract

One important factor to determine the discipline of a student is to record the student's attendance. The attendance system that has been used so far is to call the student's name and then record their attendance on paper, this manual technique causes various problems,for example it takes a long time to record data,the attendance archive is damaged due to tearing and various other conditions. In addition,the attendance system that has been running so far has not been able to accurately record student attendance, such as student arrivals on time or not. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based on NodeMcu ESP8266 works with the internet network to overcome problems that have occurred so far. With this attendance system not only facilitates the attendance process but also assists teachers in recording student attendance. The system device works accurately with a maximum card scan distance of 4cm with a perfect accuracy level

Abstract

Lung cancer is one of the groups of cancer that causes the most deaths, including in Indonesia. Many people with lung cancer do not realize that they are infected with lung cancer, which causes delays in treating this disease. For this reason, it is necessary to have a method that has a good level of accuracy in making a prediction so that later with a good level of accuracy it can be a reference for the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the world of health to detect lung cancer early. The proposed study uses the c4.5 algorithm to predict the likelihood of patients with lung cancer by providing the final result in the form of the prediction accuracy of the proposed algorithm. To carry out data mining implementation using the Python programming language by utilizing the library that has been provided to make it easier to implement machine learning. In this study the use of c4.5 was able to predict with an accuracy rate of 86%. This level of accuracy can be said to be worthy of being used as a reference to be able to predict lung cancer patients based on the symptoms that appear in the patient

Abstract

Stroke is known as a disease caused by rupture of blood vessels in the brain or blockage of blood vessels in the brain. Disruption of the blood supply to the brain can result in damage to brain cells which results in damage to brain function. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) stroke is one of the highest causes of death worldwide, because almost 85% of the causes of death in the world are due to stroke. Current developments in science and technology require research to analyze stroke patient data so that the dominant factors that lead to stroke can be identified. This is an initial step that can be taken to address these problems to reduce the risk of death caused by stroke. In this study, the analysis was carried out by implementing a decision tree algorithm using python because the decision tree has good accuracy 91% in making predictions. With the decision tree formed from this algorithm, it will be easy to see the symptoms, starting from those who are most at risk to those who have the lowest risk of causing stroke

Abstract

Decision Support System is a computer system that processes data into information to make decisions regarding specific semi-structured problems. It is specially developed to support solutions for unstructured management issues to enhance the quality of decision-making. The selection of potential thesis advisors at Hamzanwadi University's Informatics Engineering program is currently done by directly choosing an advisor while considering individual criteria or by seeking advice from peers. However, this direct selection method sometimes overlooks crucial aspects that should be prioritized. This research aims to construct a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to assist final-semester students in the Faculty of Engineering at Hamzanwadi University in selecting their thesis advisors. The methodology employed in this Decision Support System is the Weighted Product method, which enables the calculation and comparison of multiple factors during the decision-making process. Factors analyzed in this study encompass the instructors' competency areas and the number of students they supervise. The utilization of this Decision Support System is expected to aid students in choosing an appropriate and fitting thesis advisor according to their needs. Moreover, the Decision Support System is anticipated to aid the faculty in providing information about potential thesis advisors before students finalize their choices. This research is expected to contribute to and benefit the development of information technology in the education sector

Abstract

The development of the internet world is highly expected for the present because more and more private companies, agencies, and educational institutions are very highly in need to serve as information services. In this study, we will try to make an Android-based Jersey Shirt Sales System Application that is addressed at the Berugak Jersey Lombok Store. The Berugak Jersey Lombok shop only uses social media and manuals in marketing its products. So, most of the consumers/customers come from the people around them and the social media they use. Currently, a business field is certainly less competitive if it does not have online marketing media such as e-commerce applications/websites. The existence of an application/website will be able to expand the reach in marketing the products sold at this store. The method used in the design and manufacture of this software is the waterfall method. The purpose of this final project research is to produce a sales system application design that can make it easier for consumers to place orders/transactions at the Berugak Jersey Lombok store and as a means to promote products to be more communicative and informative, to expand the marketing area and increase the number of consumers.
