Abstract

People use many kinds of utterances in their daily activities that involve speakin. One of the utterances is interjection. This particular utterance is used to express the emotional feeling to the listener. Generally, interjections are used in spoken language except the using the novel or comics. One of the expressions of interjection is “outou” (answer). This is an expression to see the respond or answer from the listener. The expression can be a comment or reaction towards the listener’s opinion and demand. Keywords: “kandoushi” (interjection words), “outou” (jawaban).

Abstract

Every country in the world has its own culture that characterizes each nation. One of the cultures of every nation is the way to have the social interaction through verbal and non-verbal communication. Verbal communication can be in forms of greetings and so forth, while the non-verbal communication can be signaled by using the scattering; wave of the hand, eye blink, bow weight and so forth. This article discusses the Japanese culture that initiates communications with bowing, known as Ojigi. Keywords: ojigi, means, communications, social, interaction, social interaction

Abstract
