<![CDATA[Penelitian perubahan garis pantai pulau Putri, Kota Batam dilakukan dengan menganalisis data citra satelit tahun 2000-2016. Garis pantai Pulau Putri merupakan lokasi penting dan titik pangkal untuk pengukuran wilayah perairan territorial Indonesia. Upaya penanaman bakau di sekeliling pulau Putri telah dilakukan namun belum berhasil dengan baik karena adanya limbah minyak dan kondisi karangnya pun telah rusak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi potensi hilangnya Pulau Putri berdasarkan perubahan garis pantai dan luasannya. Metode survei lapangan dilakukan secara sampel tetap, analisis pengolahan data penginderaan jauh menggunakan teknik komposit warna RGB dan Fusi dengan metode transformasi Brovey. Sedangkan interpretasi garis pantai dilakukan secara visual melalui digitasi pada layar. Pada kegiatan lapangan dilakukan pengukuran pasang surut dan arus laut untuk mendukung analisis perubahan garis pantai Pulau Putri. Kondisi perairan sekitar Pulau Putri memiliki tipe pasang surut campuran condong ke harian ganda dengan kecepatan arus 1,2 - 0,765 m/dtk. Kecepatan arus tersebut cenderung dipengaruhi oleh kondisi pasang surut, pada saat menjelang surut kecepatan arus menjadi cukup tinggi dan cenderung tenang pada saat air kondisi surut minimum menuju pasang dan saat surut. Perubahan garis pantai dan luas wilayah di Pulau Putri mulai signifikan dari tahun 2013-2016. Pada tahun 2000 luas Pulau Putri sekitar 131.374 m2 kemudian luas tersebut terus berkurang, dan pada tahun 2016 luasnya hanya sekitar 24.266m2 yang disebabkan adanya abrasi. Abrasi terjadi hampir di sekeliling pulau namun yang paling terkena abrasi terutama di sebelah utara.Kata kunci: citra satelit, garis pantai, abrasi, Pulau Putri.Coastline changes of Putri island is located in Batam city performed in this study by analyzing satellite image data in 2000-2016. The coastline on the Putri Island is an important location and the starting point for measuring the territorial waters of Indonesia. Mangrove planting efforts around the Island Princess has been done but has not worked well for their waste oil and condition of reefs had been damaged. The purpose of this study to identify the potential of loss Putri Island by coastline and area changes. Field survey method is based on purposive sampling, the analysis of remote sensing data processing using RGB color composite techniques and fusion with Brovey transformation method. While the interpretation of the coastline done visually through digitization on a screen. The fieldwork was conducted measurements of tidal and ocean currents to support the analysis of changes in the coastline of the Putri Island. Condition in the Putri island waters area has a mixed tide prevailing semidiurnal tidal type and current speed between 1.2 - 0.765 m/s. The current speed tends to be influenced by tidal conditions, at the time before the tidal ebb current speed and tends to be quite at the time the water receded minimum conditions to the tide and at low tide. Coastline changes and area on the Island Princess significant begin of the year 2013- 2016.
