Abstract

This paper reveals about the program of guidance learning, implementation of guidance to improve students 'emotional intelligence, as well as improving students' emotional intelligence after running guidance in MTs Al-Hijrah Cimaung. The research method used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The results showed that the guidance program became the basis of religious guidance services. Then held guidance to improve the emotional intelligence of students in MTs Al-Hijrah Cimaung which consists of five types of activities, namely reading and reviewing the Qur'an, dhuha prayer, dhuhur prayer bersama, da'wah safari, and pengajian (Raudhatut ta ' lim asy-syahriyah). Based on the program and its implementation process, showed that the improvement of students' emotional intelligence after guidance is highly categorized as high. It was confirmed from the aspect of his intelligence, which is to recognize the emotions of self, manage emotions, motivate yourself, recognize the emotions of others, and foster relationships. So with the existence of religious guidance activities can improve students' emotional intelligence in MTs Al-Hijrah Cimaung. Tulisan ini mengungkapkan tentang program bimbingan keagamaan, pelaksanaan bimbingan keagamaan untuk meningkatkan emotional intelligence siswa, serta peningkatkan emotional intelligence siswa setelah melaksanakan bimbingan keagamaan di MTs Al-Hijrah Cimaung. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan menjadi dasar layanan bimbingan keagamaan. Kemudian pelaksanaan bimbingan kegamaan untuk meningkatkan emotional intelligence siswa di MTs Al-Hijrah Cimaung dibagi menjadi lima jenis kegiatan, yaitu membaca dan mengkaji al-Qur’an, shalat dhuha, shalat dzuhur berjama’ah, safari dakwah, dan pengajian (Raudhatut ta’lim asy-syahriyah). Berdasarkan program dan proses pelaksanaannya, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatkan emotional intelligence siswa setelah mendapat bimbingan keagamaan dikategori sangat tinggi. Hal tersebut dipertegas dari aspek kecerdasan emosional yaitu mengenali emosi diri, mengelola emosi, memotivasi diri sendiri, mengenali emosi orang lain, dan membina hubungan. Sehingga dengan adanya kegiatan bimbingan keagamaan dapat meningkatkan emotional intelligence siswa di MTs Al-Hijrah Cimaung.
