Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the organizational communication strategy used by the Office of Investment and Integrated Licensing Services at the One Door of Bengkulu City in an effort to improve public services, as well as to identify the obstacles that arise when implementing organizational communication strategies. The theory used in this study is the theory put forward by Karl Weick in 1969 in which organizations were not formed from structures and positions but from communication activities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Informants from the study consisted of 10 employees of the Office of Investment and Integrated Licensing Services of One Door Bengkulu City Government who were selected based on purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observation. The results showed that the strategy used was building internal communication among members of the organization, building emotional closeness and increasing awareness of members of the organization, evaluating the performance that has been done, always being tolerant of the fellow members of the organization. Barriers that arise during communication are differences in the character of each person, frequent mutations and employee movements, lack of competent ability of some employees. Conclusion, if communication between organizations is effective, then all systems can run well, including in terms of public services. Keywords : Communication Strategies, Public Services, DPMPTSP

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to focus on how the new media is used as a promotional tool for hotels in the city of Bengkulu. This research method uses qualitative methods and Innovation Diffusion theory models. The results of this study are that the study of 4 elements of the theory of innovation diffusion (innovation, time period, communication and social channels) has a relationship with the use of new media at this time. Conclusion, Like the selection of innovations that have an impact in the current era, the time period chosen to decide why should promote through new media, communication channels that have their own influences such as a wide range of promotions, to social that makes changes to the emergence of the use of new media as a promotion from the hotel in the city of Bengkulu. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to determine the online shop business communication of former employees through Instagram social media. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method equipped with online media references. The results showed; 1. Products, products offered by online shops can be updated directly through the latest photos, live streaming, stories, and videos; 2. Price, publication through Instagram social media, allows all consumers to know firsthand the prices and discounts offered by online shops; 3. Place, Instagram allows every individual to open an online store without having to have a place of sale. 4. Promotion, promotions carried out by online shops are very easy, such as live streaming because they do not have to cost money, besides making videos and sharing them with all followers can be done directly. The conclusion of the study is that Instagram as a promotional media has been able to provide space to be able to promote all products. The conclusion of the study is that the communication of former employees in the online shop business has begun to develop so that it stimulates the community in the area to be able to compete not only in creating conventional stores but online stores. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out how effective the communication of Indonesian volunteers from the Indonesian zakat house was in building altruism. Qualitative research methods with data collection techniques are participatory observation and interviews. This research is associated with the study of DeVito Theory as an analytical knife in a humanistic approach, there are five general qualities of interpersonal communication, namely 1) openness, 2) empathy, 3) supportiveness, 4) positive attitude. , 5) equality (equality). The results showed that the Nusantara Volunteers of the Indonesian Zakat House Bengkulu Branch built a sense of altruism in society in order to humanize other humans and pay more attention to the people around them. The conclusion of this research is the effectiveness of what is done so that people are interested and moved in building themselves to be more concerned so that a sense of altruism arises in them. Abstract

This study aims to see how the use of social media Instagram account @mahasiswaakhir.id as a medium for information literacy in students. This study uses qualitative methods with participatory observation data collection techniques and interviews. The research results show that the @mahasiswaakhir.id account is an Instagram account that seeks to become an information literacy medium, especially for students by providing relevant information in the form of video tips and tutorials as well as motivational content that can help and benefit students. This shows that the @mahasiswaakhir.id account utilizes Instagram social media as an information literacy medium for students by providing video content information, tutorial tips and motivation to students so that students can choose and process information according to their needs. Abstract

The aim of this research is to see how the media framing news about Covid-19 in the online media Okezone.com and Tribunnews.com. This study uses the Robert N. Etman framing analysis method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by viewing and observing Covid-19 news in the online media Okezone.com and Tribunnews.com. The overall results of the study are based on the Robert N. Etman framing analysis model with 4 aspects, namely Define Problem, Diagnose Causes, Make Moral Judgment, Treatment Recommendation, stating that the prominence of news articles related to Covid-19 on Okezone.com discusses the impact of Covid-19 in several sectors. Meanwhile, Tribunnews.com provides updates on the development of the Covid-19 case. Tribunnews.com also highlights the issue of anticipation by the government regarding the handling of Covid-19 ahead of Christmas and New Year. The conclusion of the research is that Okezone.com news places more emphasis on the issue of articles on the impact of Covid-19 in various ways such as propaganda, celebration of certain days, cases that occur in society, and also focuses on the impact on the education and economic sectors and Tribunnews.com is more on updates on the development of the Covid-19 case, starting from the latest number of cases, the number of positive cases, deaths and also those who have recovered. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Satuan Kerja Penyediaan Perumahan Provinsi Bengkulu dalam Mensosialisasikan Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya. Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya merupakan program rumah tidak layak huni menjadi rumah layak huni. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif serta teori Harold Lasswell sebagai pisau analisis. 1) Satuan Kerja Penyediaan Perumahan Provinsi Bengkulu (Who), 2) Menjelaskan kepada masyarakat mengenai program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya (Says what), 3) Media cetak yaitu poster dan leaflet, media sosial yaitu Instagram, dan komunikasi verbal (In which channel), 4) Penerima bantuan, pemerintah setempat maupun masyarakat umum (To whom) dan 5) Efek yang dihasilkan yakni masyarakat mengetahui dan terpancing/termotivasi untuk membagun rumah yang layak huni dengan adanya Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya (With what effect). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peran Satuan Kerja Penyediaan Perumahan Provinsi Bengkulu dalam sosialisasi program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya adalah 1) Menganalisis peserta dengan mengenali karakter, pendidikan, budaya dan asal daerah. 2) Media komunikasi yang digunakan yaitu media cetak seperti leafet dan poster. Media komunikasi yang digunakan selanjutnya media komunikasi tatap muka (presentasi) dengan intonasi jelas yang dibantu dengan proyektor dengan menayangkan gambar/video dan power point. 3) Menunjuk komunikator yang kredibilitas dalam program tersebut sehingga masyarakat percaya, mengerti dan menjalankan program dengan baik. Kata Kunci : Peran; Satuan Kerja Penyediaan Perumahan Provinsi Bengkulu; Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya;
