Abstract

Oil palm is a strong plant, although this plant is also not sparedfrom attacks ofpests and diseases, both less harmful and harmful.Pest Caterpillar Fire is the most pest that attacks because the pest is the most difficultpest in its control. Firefly pests multiply rapidly andfeed on the leaves until they havefinished all the leaves o f palm oil so that the characteristics o f thepest attack can be easily identified. The research was carried out in Division I Sei Parit Estate PT. SIDO JADI Sei Rampah DistrictSerdangBerdagai with data retrieval secondary.Research time fo r 5 months, from January-May 2016. Research use descriptive analysis method ofprimary data collection by way o fdirectfield survey to identify the characteristics o f pests by counting the number ofsubject stricken pests. Secondary data takenfrom the DivisionlPT. SIDO JADI. The results showed the diversity ofpest attack on oil palm Division 1 Sei Parit Estate is classified low i.e.H < 1 = 0,401.

Abstract

Bagworrn is one of leaf eater caterpillar in oil palm cultivation. They can attack oil palm from nursery stage to the mature stage. It is difficulty to control the baguworm because their body covered with bag. This research wa carried out in the afdeling VI Tanjung Gambus Estate PT.Perkebunan Nusantara II from Juli-Agustus 2017. Descreptive design with secondary data taken from the estate (data October 2016-March 2017). Control system has been used in Tanjung Gambus estate was by injection. The result of this research show that bagworm control by steam injection is effective. Bagworm (Metisa Plana) population decline with average mortality from 27.27 (heavy attack) to 5.44 (medium) with percentage 86.67 %.

Abstract

Rotten disease of the base of the stem is currently already attacked crops of oil palm in the nursery. This last Task done research in the area of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian Agrobisnis Perkebunan. The research using random Design Group (RAK) Factorial with the sum of 12 and Deuteronomy 3 x as much treatment, oil palm seedlings grown in Sterile soil with polibeg media and ex Ganoderma with the awarding of the Zeolite and KCl application. Testing parameters are arranged on the test Range with Fingerprints Analysis F.Observations on the treatment of planting Media against the number of leaves showed no effect. For the application of Zeolite in General does not give a real Influence on the entire parameters. Whereas for the application of KCl test result statistics gives a real for influence is evident against the number of leaves, stem diameter, and height of the plant. The highest number of leaf chlorophyll contained in T0Z0K2 treatment with 66.49 CCI. The level of Infection Pathogens disease Ganoderma boninense, the level of the lowest root damage is present on the T0Z1K2 treatment with 31.62%.
