<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “pengaruh polisi Meupep-pep terhadap pembentukan citra positif polisi lalu lintas (studi pada masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh)”. Pihak Polisi Daerah (Polda) Aceh meluncurkan sebuah program yang diharapkan mampu mengedukasi masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh dengan nama program Meupep-pep. Program tersebut kini menjadi program unggulan dalam mengkampanyekan tertib lalu lintas di wilayah hukum Polda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh citra polisi lalu lintas sejak hadirnya polisi Meupep-pep dimata masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Stimulus Organisme Respons (S-O-R). Subjek dalam penelitian adalah masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data ialah dengan melakukan survei, yang menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 responden. Dalam penelitian ini, hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan beberapa tahapan analasis, yaitu Uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas, Metode Analisis Kuantitatif dan Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa polisi Meupep-pep berhasil mempengaruhi masyarakat di Banda Aceh terhadap pembentukan citra positif polisi lalu lintas. Melalui hasil uji regresi sederhana, besarnya koefesien determinasi adalah 0,445, jadi dapat disimpulkan besarnya pengaruh variabel polisi Meupep-pep terhadap citra positif polisi lalu lintas adalah 44,5%. Berdasarkan kriteria uji hipotesis yaitu jika t hitung t tabel (8,863 1,984) maka Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan hipotesis pada penelitian ini diterima. Artinya, sosialisasi polisi Meupep-pep memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap pembentukan citra positif polisi lalu lintas. Aceh Regional Police (Polda) launched a program that is expected to be able to educate the society of Banda Aceh with the program name Meupep-pep. The program currently becomes a competitive program in campaigning for an orderly traffic in Aceh police jurisdiction. The purpose of this study is to determine how much the influence of the image of traffic police since the presence of Polisi Meupep-pep according to the view of Banda Aceh society. The approach used in this research was quantitative using descriptive method. The theory of this research is Stimulus Organism Response (S-O-R). The subject in this research is the society of Banda Aceh which is selected by using purposive sampling. Data collection technique used in this research is a survey trough questionnaire which the number of respondents was 100 respondents. In this research, the result was analyzed using several step of analysis. They are Validity and Reliability analysis, Quantitative Analysis Method and Hypothesis Test. The result showed that Polisi Meupep-pep influenced the society of Banda Aceh towards the establishment of a positive image of traffic police. Through a simple regression test results, the coefficient of determination is 0.445, it can be conclude that the influence of the variable Polisi Meupep-pep to the positive image of the police traffic was 44.5%. Based on the hypothesis test criteria if t t table (8.863 1.984), then Ha is accepted. So it can be stated that hypothesis in this study is accepted. It means that the socialization of Polisi Meupep-pep have a significant and positive influence towards the establishment of a positive image of the traffic police.
