Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the effect of effect of gallery walk strategy on students' writing ability in descriptive paragraph. This study applied quasi experimental research. This study was conducted of the tenth grade students at SMK Swasta Palapa Binjai as the population of the study. The sample was selected by using random sampling, with 50 students as the sample of this study. the writer used clas X-AP which consist of 25 students as the experimental class and X-TSM which consist of 25 students as controlled class.. The data collected from this study were analyzed using t-test formula. The result from calculating the data was t-observation (to = 7,73) and t-table (tt = 1.67). Based on the statistical calculation, it showed that to is higher than tt in significant level 5%. Therefore the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It means that there was an effect of Gallery Walk Strategy on Students’ Writing Ability in Descriptive Paragraph of Tenth Grade at SMK Swasta Palapa Binjai.

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu cara terbaik bagi suatu perusahaan untuk melayani pelanggan dan meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan mereka dengan baik adalah dengan menjadikan supply chain management dan penerapan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) yang efektif sebagai prioritas strategis. PT. Toyota Astra Motor memiliki production atau hasil produk dengan kualitas yang baik dengan harga yang berkompetitif yang dikarenakan adanya pengembangan dan perbaikan akan produk yang dihasilkan serta menjaga supply chain dari perusahaannya mulai dari mengembangkan kualitas bahan mentahnya, supplier-supplier, dan distribusi produk sehingga perusahaan akan tetap bertahan dan berkompeten dengan perusahaan-perusahaan otomotif lainnya di luar sana. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa system ERP dan Supply Chain berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja PT Toyota Astra Motor dan juga akan dibahas mengenai pengaruh supply chain management dan enterprise resource management terhadap kinerja PT Toyota Astra Motor, pengaruh faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja supply chain management pada PT Toyota Astra Motor, serta penerapan system enterprise resource planning pada PT Toyota Astra Motor.Kata Kunci:  supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, kinerja perusahaan

Abstract

The objective of this resarch was to find out the effect of using mind mapping technique on students’ writing descriptive text. This study applied quasi-experimental research. This study was conducted  of the tenth grade students’ of  SMA Swasta Taman Siswa Binjai as the population study. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling, with 70 students as the sample. As the experimental class, the writer used class X-IPS 1 which consisted of 35 students and for the controlled class, the writer used class X-IPA 2 that consist of 35 students. The data collected from this study were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result from calculating the data was found that the value of t-observed ( ) was higher than the value of t-table ( ). The result  of  was  4,05 since the    in degree  of significant 5% was 1,66. It shows that the comparison of and   was 4,05  1,66. Therefore the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In other words, there was an effect of using mind mapping technique on writing descriptive text at the tenth grade students’ of SMA Swasta Taman Siswa Binjai.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world. The purpose of this research is to examine the morphological structure and composition of Toraja Robusta coffee. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used to analyze the morphological structure and elemental analysis of Robusta coffee powder, as well as functional group analysis using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Microscopic examination reveals that the surface of Toraja Robusta coffee grounds is uneven. Furthermore, the elements Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Potassium, and Magnesium were discovered in Toraja Robusta coffee powder. Furthermore, functional group analysis results show that Toraja Robusta coffee powder has several functional groups at various wave numbers. This research advances our understanding of the morphological structure and composition of Toraja Robusta coffee powder, which can be used as a reference in coffee processing and marketing. Furthermore, the findings of this study can help improve the quality and selling value of Toraja Robusta coffee as a local Indonesian coffee product that is distinct and distinct from other types of coffee.
