Pressure sores are localized to the tissue injury above the prominent bone due to continuous pressure in the long term. Pressure sores increased mortality and long day care in some countries. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is a pure coconut oil obtained by the process without heating so that the content of both substances in it can be maintained. Quasi-experimental research design that aims to determine the effectiveness of using Virgin Coconut Oil for healing of pressure sores grade I and II in patients with pressure sores. Data collection tool score bates jensen observation sheet as wound healing process measurement instruments. Study sample 42 respondents are divided into 21 groups of 21 respondents intervention and control groups. Statistical tests using independent t-test with an alpha of 5%. The results showed no significant difference to the score bates jensen decrease in VCO-treated patients compared with normal coconut oil (pv = 0.000). Multivariate analysis showed factors influencing albumin bates jensen difference scores in patients treated with VCO. Researchers suggested to use in the treatment of pressure sores VCO grade I and II in patients with pressure sores in RSUDAM Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province. Key words: VCO, pressure ulcer Abstrak : Efektifitas Penggunaan Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) secara Topikal untuk Mengatasi Luka Tekan (Dekubitus) Grade I Dan II.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of spiritual support on anxiety levels in pre-operative patients. This study was Quasi-Experiment with one group pretest-posttest design, sampling was using purposive sampling technique. Sample amounted to 16 respondents, population amounted to 325 patients. The Data collection tool was using a questionnaire sheet. The statistical test was using Wilcoxon test. The average yield of anxiety prior to therapy spiritual support was 49.88, with a standard deviation of 6.449. While the average anxiety after the therapy spiritual support was 46.81 with a standard deviation of 6.002. The statistical test result showed that p-value = 0.001, there was an effect of a spiritual support therapeutic to the level of anxiety of patients pre-operation at Imanuel Hospital Lampung Year 2017. This study suggested therapy for spiritual support as nursing care in patients who experience anxiety.
