The utilizationof antenatal care by a pregnant woman can be seen from the coverage of antenatal care, monitored via the service of the first (K1) until the fourth visit(K4)of antenatal care forpregnant women. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors (education, knowledge, parity, family income and social support) related to the utilization of antenatal care at thePrimary Health Center in the area of East Jakarta in 2014. This study used an analyticalmethod with Cross Sectional Survey (cross-sectional). The Datawere prospectively gatheredfrom interviews and questionnaires conducted at the same time based on the exclusion andinclusion criteria from October to November 2014, The analysis result using the Chi-squaretest showed a significant correlation between education (p=0,0038), knowledge (p=0,001),parity (p=0,005), family income (p=0,02), and social support (p=0,017) with the utilizationof antenatal care (p <0.05) and the result of the multiple regression multivariate analysisfound that the mostdominant factor related to the utilization of antenatal care was knowledge(p=0,007).

The purpose of this study was to determine the individual's personality type and labor pain knowledge relationship with the perception of labor pain. This study is used an analytical method with Cross Sectional Survey approach. Data were prospectively taken from interviews and questionnaires at the same time charging at any one time based on the criteria of exclusion and inclusion period till Novemer December 201. The results of analysis of the characteristics by using Chi-Square test showed a significant association between the personality type of individuals with the perception of labor pain (p <0.05). Chi-Square test results show no relationship between knowledge based on individual personality type on the perception of labor pain (p <0.05). Conclusions in this study suggest a link between personality type with the perception of labor pain, labor pain perception on personality type ekstraversi lighter than the pain of labor on introversion personality types and there is a significance relationship between knowledge on the personality type of individuals with the perception of labor pain.

Abstract

The number of cases of HIV / AIDS in Indonesia in 2014 there were 501 400 cases of HIV / AIDS (NAC, 2014). Most of the people know their condition suddenly without any voluntary testing followed. Risk groups are afraid to do voluntary testing because worried about the consequences to be faced after it was revealed they were HIV positive. Anxiety is associated with a sense of ignorance about HIV so that they are afraid to know the results of such tests. Needed a good anxiety management therapy with a green color. The green color can lead to a sense of comfort, relax, reduce stress, balance, and calm emotions (Kusuma, 2010). The study aims was identified about differences in levels of anxiety and decision-making for HIV testing in patients at high risk of HIV infection before and after VCT and color therapy, analyze the effectiveness of VCT and color. This research method is quantitative research Quasi experimental with pre and post test using the control group. Sampling with purposive sampling, different test analysis by Wilcoxon Signed Rank test and linear regression. Results of the study there are differences in anxiety levels before and after VCT and color therapy in the intervention group (p value: 0.014), there are differences in decision making/ willingness of HIV testing before and after given VCT and color therapy in the intervention group (p value: 0.001). VCT and color therapy affects the willingness of the decision making an HIV test (p value: 0.003) and decreased levels of anxiety (p value: 0.006). The conclusion from this study, there is differences in levels of anxiety and decision-making for HIV testing in patients at high risk of HIV infection before and after VCT and color therapy, VCT and color therapy effective in decision making HIV testing and decrease anxiety levels of patients at high risk of HIV infection in VCT clinic Health Center Care Cakung East Jakarta. Abstract

There are three important factors that effect of the wound healing of perineum laceration, namely mobilization, nutrition and cleanliness of vulva and perineum. With the fulfillment of the three factors become 1 package of module, it can be happening faster of wound healing in the proliferation phase of perineum laceration less than 7 days, which is usually occur more than 7 days. The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of the implementation of the package of modules in accelerating wound healing the perineum at the proliferation phase. The population of this study were post partum mothers with 2nd grade of perineum laceration in the place of research that chosen by simple randomization and randomized allocation that matching with inclusion and exclusion criteria. 18 mothers were selected as intervention group, while 18 mothers were selected as control group in different health center. This research used true quantitative experimental design with posttest only control group design and use chi-square test analysis for categorical variables throughout and logistic regression for multivariable analysis. There was a significant association between implementation module with long time of wound healing of perineum laceration in the proliferation phase (p value = 0,002) with OR (95%CI) was 60 (3.14 – 1147.29) before compared with control group. Mothers who implemented of module have probability for faster of wound perineum healing < 7 days postpartum compared with control group with OR (95% CI) was 5.5 (1.27 – 23.69). Implementation of the module package was very effective in accelerating the healing of wounds in the proliferation of the perineum laceration.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one of the indicators in determining the degree of health of a nation. One of the causes of maternal death is related to the problem of gender inequality in society. The role of midwives in providing gender-responsive services is needed to realize welfare and health for all. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the gender approach in antenatal care at the Midwife Independent Practice Center. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviews and data analysis using triangulation of sources, techniques and experts. Primary data were obtained using interview guideline sheets from 6 informants, which included 2 midwives and 2 pregnant women who did not understand antenatal care with gender responsiveness and their partners. The results of the study on the effectiveness of the gender approach in antenatal care at the Midwife E Independent Practice Place is assessed from indicators of target accuracy, socialization, achievement of goals and monitoring, it can be said to be quite effective because the implementation already involves the participation of pregnant women and their partners. However, there needs to be a guideline that regulates gender-responsive care. Suggestion: Establish a specific guideline governing gender-responsive midwifery care standards by both professional organizations and related agencies.
