Abstract

Cabenge River is part of the WalanaeCenranae River area in Soppeng Regency. Annually, the area around the Cabenge River gets the most losses from floods, both in terms of facilities and infrastructures. This study aims to map the areas prone to flood and flood risk, based on the field that gets the most significant impact. This study uses a Geographic Information System (GIS) as a tool and ArcGis Software in determining the level of vulnerability and risk of flooding at the study site. This type of research is a combination of mapping (topographic results) and map analysis. The variables used are DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data and flood volume. The data processing technique used is the GIS-based inundation model approach using inundation height (H) based on a comparison between the volume of water (V) in inundated areas and the volume of water (Q) of flood sources. The results showed that Lilirilau District was in the high hazard class with an area of 100 km2 and had the biggest impact, while in Liliriaja District, the area that was in a high hazard class was 34 km2 and Ganra District was 21 km2.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the surface runoff and the puddle  in the of flood risk area in Manggala village. Modified Rational Method had been applied to determine runoff discharge. While, flood risk areas were based on the map from National Disaster Management (BPBD Kota Makassar, 2014). Rainfall data of Manggala village wascollected from 2009 to 2018 from three stations, they areBiringRomang, Panakukkang, and TamangapaKassi. Therefore,  a Thiessen method had been applied to determine the rainfall area.Research results shown that runoff discharge for return period 5 years was185.38 m3/s, with height around 0,50 to 2,00 m.

Abstract

This research is about studying the effect of environmental leadership and environmental personality on staffs’ perception toward greening institutions. There were around 6 research problems have been solved, including dependency between environmental leadership and environmental personality with staffs’ perception toward greening institutions. Therefore, an ex-post facto method by using 2 x 2 factorial designs had been applied. Each cell consisted of 16 staffs from provincial government institutions, South Sulawesi which selected randomly. There were three instruments have been developed such as Environmental Leadership (EL), Environmental Personality (EP), and Greening Institutions (GI) which measured in a scaling form. Its reliable was respectively .991 (EL), .907(EP), and .929 (GI). Data have been analyzed by implementing two-way ANOVA and Chi-Square. Research results show that there is highly significant difference of staffss’ perception toward greening institutions between stafss who perceived their superordinate to have transformational environmental leadership rather than transactional. There is highly difference of staffs’ perception toward greening institutions between staffs who has good and bad environmental personality. There is no significant interaction effect found between environmental leadership and environmental personality on greening institutions. Finally, there is dependency between environmental leadership and environmental personality with greening institutions. Based on these findings, it could be interpreted that staffs’ perception toward greening institutions might have been affected by environmental leadership independently without considering environmental personality. Therefore, if the greening institutions would be improved, environmental personality and environmental leadership could be taken in to consideration separately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh organisasi dan kepemimpinan terhadap produktivitas pekerja pada perusahaan jasa konsultan di Kota Makassar. Dalam era modern, peran sumber daya manusia dianggap penting dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Produktivitas pekerja menjadi faktor kunci dalam kesuksesan perusahaan, dan faktor-faktor seperti budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan telah terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Masih terbatasnya penelitian pada perusahaan jasa konsultan, membuat peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan dengan melibatkan tiga perusahaan jasa konsultan di Kota Makassar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 60 responden (populasi karyawan) dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Regresi Linear Berganda pada SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas pekerja. Variabel organisasi, terutama indikator inovasi dan pengambilan risiko, berpengaruh secara positif terhadap produktivitas pekerja. Namun, kepemimpinan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas pekerja dalam konteks perusahaan jasa konsultan di Kota Makassar. Kesimpulannya, organisasi memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas pekerja di perusahaan jasa konsultan. Pentingnya monitoring dan evaluasi dalam perusahaan untuk membantu karyawan mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan dalam produktivitas mereka.
