Abstract

This research was aiming to produce an application design based on user experience. The research target to be achieved is the design of an online queue application for examining pregnant women using the User Experience Lifecycle (UXL). This study uses four stages of UXL, namely, analysis, design, prototype, and evaluation. The analysis produces application concepts consisting of flow models, work activity affinity diagrams, design requirements, and social models. The analysis phase is derived from questionnaire data distributed to 13 respondents. The design phase aims to design a persona, sketch, and storyboard. The prototype stage was developed based on the previous stage, producing a medium-fidelity prototype. Evaluations were carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) of 11 respondents producing a value of 76.46 or B (Good). Based on this, this research successfully used UXL for application design that has exceeded the minimum standard. Therefore, it is expected that the application design based on user experience will reduce the application developers' suggestions in designing the interface before moving to the production stage of the application.

Abstract

RT047/RW008 or Jl. Aries is a Neighborhood Association located in Sungai Besar Village, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan province. Within this RT environment, weekly and monthly activities are often held. One of the activities in this area is the monthly waste fee. This activity has been around for a long time when this environment was formed. However, in this monthly waste fee activity, we still use the recording method by recording data on a physical citizen membership fee card. In addition, the manufacture of this garbage contribution card still uses the service of making a contribution card which requires traveling and also incurs some costs. In the process of monthly waste contribution activities, it often results in the loss or damage of the citizen membership dues card, in which the treasurer has to make another card at the contribution card making service. Based on the problems found, a solution to the problem that can be found is to design an Android-based application that can run on Android Smartphone devices. This application will be designed using the Rapid Application Development method which will go through the process of data collection to application design. This application can perform the administrative process of digital waste dues. In addition, in the application there is also a reminder feature that will be sent to Whatsapp for every registered member of the group. Because this application runs on Android Smartphone devices, it can make it easier for users to input data and change data anywhere and anytime. The method used for designing this application is to analyze to find out what is needed in an application that you want to build. The final result of the implementation process in the form of Java programming and test results by users. By using the white box testing and black box testing methods, the result is that the application can run well and in accordance with the needs required by the user. With this android application, the RT environment can be more focused and become an RT that can be in line with current technological developments

Abstract

The Ma'arif NU Ajibarang Education Organizing Foundation (YYPMNU) is a foundation engaged in education in the Ajibarang area. There are 4 types of UPT operating under the auspices of the foundation, including SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang, SMK Ma'arif NU 2 Ajibarang, STIKES Ibnu Sina Ajibarang, and Modern Islamic Boarding School Ibnu Sina Ajibarang. The management of the foundation's personnel attendance has been carried out by utilizing information technology but it is still not effective and efficient because the presence using fingerprints causes long queues when they come to work, so it is necessary to develop an employee attendance system that can be accessed online by all employees without having to queue. The employee attendance system has been successfully developed based on Responsive Web Apps (RWA) which features presence location coverage between employees and UPT locations using geolocation data available on employee smartphones. The results of the performance evaluation of the employee attendance system using google lighthouse resulted in an average performance of 41.5.

Abstract

Special School B (SLB B) Yakut Purwokerto is an extraordinary school that focuses on handling Deaf Children with Special Needs (ABK) under the auspices of the Tama Business Welfare Foundation (YAKUT). In the process of monitoring student progress for guardians, SLB B Yakut Purwokerto still uses manuals and serves individual guardians. This is of course very ineffective and efficient. In addition, teachers also use social media in the form of WhatsApp to contact students' parents when students have finished learning activities at school. The development of technology is currently very rapid and it is appropriate for SLB B Yakut Purwokerto to develop monitoring activities using an effective and efficient system. Based on a review of several previous studies, User Centered Design (UCD) is an effective and most frequently used method to build an application. In understanding the user's cognition, character, and attitude, the design of the monitoring application for SLB B YAKUT Purwokerto students must focus on the user by applying the User Centered Design (UCD) method so that the application seems more interactive. The collection of user needs is carried out using three ways, including observation, interviews, and collecting the required documents. There are 5 stages that must be passed to implement the UCD method, plan the human-centered process, specifically the context of use, specify user and organizational requirements, product design solutions, and evaluate design against user requirements. The result of this research is that the design of the SoBat Yakut Monitoring System application design has been successfully completed to the prototype stage.

Abstract

M-commerce adalah kegiatan membeli dan menjual produk atau layanan menggunakan perangkat seluler. Tokopedia adalah salah satu e-commerce yang saat ini menempati peringkat 3 versi Playstore pada perangkat berbasis android dan peringkat 2 versi Appstore pada perangkat berbasis IOS. Tokopedia mempunyai fitur lain seperti pembelian pulsa, pembayaran tagihan, pemesanan tiket transportasi, angsuran kredit, investasi dan asuransi dan lain-lain. Tingginya peringkat dan banyaknya fitur pastinya diimbangi dengan baiknya usability yang dirasakan pengguna pada aplikasi tersebut. Untuk mengetahui usability sebuah aplikasi perlu dilakukan Usability Testing pada aplikasi tersebut. Dilakukan usability testing kepada 20 participant dengan proportional random sampling pada populasi mahasiswa dengan sistem operasi android dan IOS. Penelitian ini diperoleh nilai usability aplikasi Tokopedia sebesar 4, 14 yang berarti usability aplikasi Tokopedia bisa dikatakan baik dan nyaman digunakan oleh user. Pengalaman antara pengguna android dan IOS juga sama-sama menghasilkan nilai yang baik dibuktikan dengan hasil Independent Sample T-Test sebesar 0, 292 sedangkan pengalaman pengguna laki-laki dan perempuan juga sama-sama mendapatkan pengalaman baik dengan hasil Independent Sample T-Test sebesar 0, 756. Persentase aspek pada kuesioner USE didapatkan sebesar 84% untuk aspek system, 83% untuk aspek user dan 82% untuk aspek interaction. Penelitian juga memperoleh hasil waktu yang dibutuhkan, jumlah error, tingkat keberhasilan, efisiensi waktu dan efisiensi relatif keseluruhan sebagai data pendukung. AbstractM-commerce is the activity of buying and selling products or services using mobile devices. Tokopedia is one of the e-commerce that currently ranks 3rd version of Playstore on android-based devices and 2nd in Appstore version on IOS-based devices. Tokopedia has other features such as credit purchases, bill payments, transportation ticket reservations, credit installments, investments and insurance and others. The high ranking and the number of features are certainly offset by the good usability that users feel on the app. To know the usability of an application needs to be done Usability Testing on the application so that it can be an evaluation material to improve the features and convenience of the application. On the User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) factors, usability is also one of the important aspects for developers for app development or upcoming updates. This study conducted usability testing with proportional random sampling in the student population with android and IOS operating systems. This study obtained a usability value of Tokopedia application of 4.14 which means the usability of Tokopedia application can be said to be good and comfortable to use by users. The experience between android and iOS users also produced good value as evidenced by the Results of Independent Sample T-Test of 0.292 while the experience of male and female users also both gained good experience with independent sample T-Test results of 0.756. The percentage of aspects in the USE questionnaire was obtained by 84% for the system aspect, 83% for the user aspect and 82% for the interaction aspect. The study also obtained the results of the time required, the number of errors, success rate, time efficiency and overall relative efficiency as supporting data.
