Salah satu aspek keberhasialan karir diantaranya self efficacy, seperti keyakinan diri, pengambilan keputusan, fungsi, dan tujuan yang didasarakan pada pengalaman, keadaan sosial, dan kebudayaannya. Namun, perilaku self efficacy rendah juga nenimbulkan efek yang bisa menjadi masalah serius jika tidak bisa diatasi segera mungkin. Ada bereapa perilaku rendahnya self efficacy yang harus diperhatikan, seperti mudah menyerah, cepat bosan dengan tugas yang diberikan, berdampak pada perencanaan karir, eksplorasi karir dan diri, serta pembuatan keputusan.
