Abstract

This study took place at Pasar Modern Pasir Pengaraian, the aim to determine characteristics which include parking accumulation, the volume of vehicle parking, parking duration, parking index and turnover of parking. The survey grouped on weekdays and holidays. The data obtained in the form of data registration numbers of vehicles consisting of a vehicle type cars (sedans, jeeps and pick-ups) and motorcycles.The result showed the maximum parking accumulation for motorcycles as many as 155 vehicles at a time interval 10:00 to 11:00 am, while on the car as much as 30 vehicles on the time interval 10:00 to 11:00 am. The majority of parking duration between 5-6 Hours. The maximum turnover rate for car parking occurs on a holiday at the clock 09:00 to 10:00 am for the motorcycle while going on holiday at 8:00 to 9:00am. Car parking for a maximum index of 21.429% on holiday while on the motorcycle of 55.537% on holidays. The amount of parking index value indicates that the parking capacity of Pasar Modern Pasir Pengaraian still able to accommodate parking demand that occurs at this time

Abstract

Penumpukan material Abu Sawit/Palm Oil Fuel Ash merupakan permasalahan di industri pabrik kelapa sawit yang akan berdampak mencemarkan kelestarian lingkungan dikarenakan abu sawit termasuk limbah. Tapi dalam dunia konstruksi, abu sawit dapat digunakan dalam konstruksi perkerasan jalan raya dalam bentuk paving block. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan menganalisis penerapan penggunaan paving block geopolimer abu sawit dengan variasi penambahan Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) dan Portland Composite Cement (PCC) di lahan gambut berbasis Eco-Green. Penelitian diawali dengan menguji karateristik material campuran paving block seperti abu sawit, semen, dan pasir. Variasi pengujian sampel terdiri dari 20%, 25%, 30% OPC dan PCC dari komposisi campuran abu sawit. Jenis pengujian yang dilakukan adalah kuat tekan dan mikrostrukstur FTIR dengan umur pengujian 28 hari. Dari hasil yang didapat, kuat tekan variasi OPC 25% memiliki kuat tekan tertinggi 23,82 MPa dari variasi OPC lainnya, sedangkan untuk variasi PCC 30% menghasilkan kuat tekan tertinggi 25,81 MPa dari variasi PCC lainnya. Dari sampel serpihan kuat tekan diuji mikrostruktur FTIR untuk mendapatkan ikatan kimia yang terjadi akibat penambahan variasi OPC dan PCC. Dari data hasil pengujian mikrostruktur FTIR terlihat adanya senyawa Natrium Karbonat, Kalsium Karbonat dan Ziolite yang merupakan reaksi geopolimer antara OPC dan PCC. Reaksi tersebut membentuk ikatan antar butiran sehingga menghasilkan pasta semen pada campuran paving block geopolimer abu sawit. Sedangkan ditinjau dari Konsep Eco-Green, paving block geopolimer lebih murah dibandingkan dengan paving block konvensional semen dan menghasilkan mutu yang sama (Mutu B).

Abstract

Traffic accidents at a young age often occur because of the low perception of the risk of danger on the highway. Teenagers were a group of motorcycle users who often ignore traffic rules. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the causes of traffic accidents and traffic safety behavior while driving to senior high school students in Pasir Pengaraian. This research was aquantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted in 3 senior high schools in Pasir Pengaraian. The number of respondents as many as 368 students were taken using purposive sampling. The respondents of this study were students who rode motorbikes to school. Data was collected through questionnaires sent via google form to each individual. Data analysis usedunivariate and bivariate analysis using chi square with 0.05%. The results showed that the accident rate was 27.4%, the reason for using motorbikes to go to school was because there was no one to drive 21.5%, 44.8% distance from school and 94.8% of respondents did not have a driver's license. As for the relationship between the incidence of accidents and behavior while driving, there was arelationship between the incidence of accidents and the behavior of violating the yellow light p = 0.017, calling hp p = 0.007, sending sms p = 0.002, driving at high speed p = 0.01 and driving more than 2 people p=0.019, driving while listening to music on cellphone p=0.011 and driving without wearing a helmet p=0.016. Other driving behaviors such as smoking while driving, violating road markings and violating traffic signs have no relationship with the incidence of accidents.
