Abstract

ABSTRAKKeterlibatan masyarakat merupakan elemen penting dalam pengembangan pariwisata, terutama di kawasan lindung. Konflik sering terjadi di dalam taman nasional karena perbedaan kepentingan. Masyarakat lokal berasumsi bahwa mereka telah hidup di taman nasional selama beberapa generasi, sementara pihak taman nasional beerasumsi bahwa mereka memiliki kewajiban untuk memiliki sumber daya di dalam taman nasional. Keberadaan taman nasional sebagai objek wisata memungkinkan mereka untuk saling bekerja sama dengan cara yang saling menguntungkan. Jadi sangat penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlibatan masyarakat yang terkandung di dalam taman nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan wawancara dilakukan untuk manajemen taman nasional dan masyarakat lokal di dalam taman nasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana taman nasional yang melibatkan masyarakat asli di dalamnya dan bagaimana mereka berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan pariwisata di dalam taman nasional. Kata kunci: Taman Nasional Aketajawe, Keterlibatan Masyarakat  COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN ECOTOURISM DEVELOPMENT AT AKETAJAWE LOLOBATA NASIONAL PARK ABSTRACTCommunity involvemet is an important element in tourism development, especially in protected area. Conflicts often occur within national parks because of differences in interests. Local communities assume that they have lived in national parks for generations while national parks assume that they have the duty to have resources within the national park. The existence of a national park as a tourist attraction makes it possible for them to cooperate with each other in a mutually beneficial manner. So it is very important to know how the involvement of the community contained within the national park. This research used a qualitative research method and interview was conducted to both national park management and local community inside the park. The aim of this research are to find out how national park involving the indigenous community inside the national park and how they participated in tourism development inside the park. Keywords: Aketajawe Lolobata National Parks, Community Involvement

Abstract

The Old City of Jakarta as a major tourist destination, is at the “Competitive Parity” level In the “tourism destination competitiveness” criteria. That position has not been posted in the “Sustained Competitive Advantage” as the highest level. Hence, in order to improve the competitiveness level, the effective and efficient strategy should be formulated and implemented. To formulate the strategy, this research analyse the five components of tourism destination competitiveness by the SWOT analysis model. The five components are Core Resources and Attractors; Supporting Factors and Resources; Destination Management; Destination Policy, Planning and Development and Qualifying and Amplifying Determinants. The SWOT Analysis also includes the SWOT Matrix and Quadran as the reference for formulating the strategy. The result shows that progressive strategy could be formulated and implemented to enhance the competitiveness of the Jakarta Old City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui posisi portofolio produk wisata berdasarkan Market Share dan Market Growth usaha-usaha pariwisata di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara dalam meningkatkan pendapatan daerah serta menarik investor dengan menggunakan analisis Matriks BCG. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan analisis kuantitatif.

Abstract

Pengembangan wisata yang berada di jalur alternatif pada umumnya mengalami beberapa kendala dikarenakan permasalahan pola ruang terkait aksesibilitas serta tata ruang fisik alam, tata ruang aktivitas dan fasilitas wisata terkait pertimbangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Bumi Perkemahan Tangsi Jaya terletak di jalur alternatif Ciwidey-Cianjur memiliki potensi wisata perkemahan dengan keunikan daya tarik wisata alam hutan, pedesaan, persawahan dan sungai dengan dominasi pengunjung lokal dan domestik. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengembangan wisata bumi perkemahan melalui pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif pada aspek spasial, pola ruang serta tata ruang aktivitas dan fasilitas wisata berdasarkan konsep Eco Forest Tourism, River Tourism dan tata ruang fisik alam. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan gambar pemetaan pola ruang, serta tata letak aktivitas dan fasilitas wisata bumi perkemahan Tangsi Jaya yang mempertimbangkan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penerapan hasil penelitian ini diharapakan dapat menjadi arahan rencana pengembangan pembangunan Bumi Perkemahan Tangsi Jaya bagi para pengelola setempat dengan harapan sektor pariwisata dapat memberikan multiplier effect pariwisata berkelanjutan baik bagi peningkatan pendapatan daerah maupun pemerataan pendapatan masyarakat Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Ciwidey, Cianjur di masa yang akan datang

Abstract

 AbstractThe continuous rapidly growth of tourism sector with the tight competition in the field of tourismmakes not all tourist destinations in the world always experience an increase in the number of tourist visits each year. Banjarmasin City, dubbed the “Kota Seribu Sungai” or "City of Thousand Rivers" and is known as the Thousand Rivers tourist destination has experiencedfluctuate number of tourist arrivals and tend to decline. The fluctuate number of tourist arrivalssourced from tourist visiting decisions can be influenced by various factors, including tourism destination productsand image. This study aims to see the effects of tourism destination products consisting of physical products, people, packages, and programsalsothe image of tourism destinations consisting of cognitive image and affective image on tourists visiting decision to the city of Thousand River Banjarmasin. The data obtained were taken by questionnaire to 123 tourists by accidental sampling. The results of the research were analyzed using multiple linear regression with two equations, namely (I) The influence of tourism destination products on tourist visiting decision and (II) The impact of tourism destination image on tourist visiting decision. The resultsfound the positive influence of tourism destination products to thetourist visiting decision of 54.5% and the image of tourism destination on the tourist visiting decision of 53.4% and the rest of 45.5% and 46.6% influenced by other factors not examined. The results of the analysis also showed the effect of tourism destination products variable partially consisting of physical products, packages, and programs have an effect on the decision of tourists while people have no influence. As for the variable image of tourism destinations in partial consisting of cognitive image and affective image affect the decision of tourists visiting to Kota Seribu Sungai Banjarmasin.

Abstract

This research aimed to provide a best practice, generalizable model, of investment promotion planning for use by tourism IPA in Mandalika Resort, which is needs a huge amount of investments for its development. In the research methodology chapter, this research employed subjectivist with inductive approach, along with case study strategy. Data were collected by utilizing a semi-structured interview. The data collected were analyzed by using a triangulation, thus this research was adopted the qualitative method. The data collected was analysed, and the findings shows that there are a lot of spot for improvement in all the area of investment promotion that been manage by BKPM. The current practice by BKPM as the national IPA is not enough to obtain all the investment needs of Mandalika Project. As the recommendation, this research proposes to create a new form of IPA, that manage specifically the tourism sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

Lancang Island is one of the islands in the Kepulauan Seribu Regency with the potential for tourism and fishing activities. Some residents of Lancang Island took advantage of the opportunity by establishing a fishing charter business. This study aims to provide a proper planning strategy for the tourist business unit to increase public income on Lancang Island. The fishing tourism business in Lancang Island includes four units such as Fishing Charter, Boat Rentals, Catering, and Accommodation. The data used are primary and secondary, and the research method is qualitative and presented descriptively. According to research using the BCG Matrix, the entire fishing charter units on Lancang Island are in the Cash Cow quadrant, so concentric diversification is a viable planning strategy. The planning strategies consist of product planning, market and marketing planning, and technology planning tailored to each business unit.

Abstract

Pariwisata menjadi salah satu sektor bisnis unggulan yang terus mengalami perkembangan dalam kajian akademis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap model pengembangan aktivitas wisata dalam mendukung peningkatan bisnis masyarakat di Kawasan Sungai Cilimbung Kabupaten Garut. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu deskriptif-kualitatif dengan unit analisis sumberdaya produk dan sumberdaya sosial di lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini telah menemukenali konsep aktivitas wisata yang sesuai untuk dikembangkan di Kawasan Sungai Cilimbung berdasarkan konsep experiential tourism. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini telah menghasilkan pemetaan minat dan kepentingan stakeholder terkait, untuk dikaji lebih jauh dalam pengambilan keputusan pembangunan bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat.Tourism is one of the leading business sectors that continues to grow in academic studies. This study aims to reveal a model for developing tourism activities in supporting community business improvement in the Cilimbung River Basin, Garut Regency. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with unit analysis of product resources and social resources at the research site. This research has identified the concept of tourism activities that are suitable to be developed in the Cilimbung River Area based on the concept of experiential tourism. Furthermore, this research has resulted in mapping the interests and interests of relevant stakeholders, to be studied further in making development decisions for the government and the community.
