Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of the media-assisted group work method on civics learning outcomes for class III students at SDN 5 Banyuasin 1. The research approach used was a quantitative approach, pre-experimental method with the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample in this study was class III as many as 25 students. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation and tests. Data analysis in this study used the t-test. The results of calculations from data analysis that the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. Which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant difference between learning outcomes in the pretest and posttest data. So that there is an influence of the group work method assisted by media puzzles on the learning outcomes of Pkn class III SD Negeri 5 Banyuasin 1.
