Abstract

PT.Wulantika Utama is one of distributor in Palu who distribute products from factories to retailers. The purpose of this research are to maximize the distribution numbers of trucks and minimize the cost of distribution. Goal Programming is a method that can solve the problem with more than one purpose. Goal Programming model formulation in this study consists of 5 priority and 5 constraint functions. The fifth priority is the storage capacity, the number of trucks used for the distribution of goods to Donggala, Ampana, Poso, and cost targets are minimum distribution. Constraint function consists of inventory in the warehouse, the number of trucks and distribution costs. The results showed that the supply of goods by the warehouse capacity that can fulfiil the necessary distribution  product during a month amounted to 14.755 cartons. Optimal distribution for each destination, in Donggala are 8 trucks with a capacity of 250 cartons, Poso are 20 trucks with a capacity of 300 cartons and Ampana are 14 trucks with a capacity of 500 cartons. This result can save distribution costs of Rp.90.993.009 from the previous distribution costs  of Rp. 282 602.689.

Abstract

PT.Sinar Niaga Sejahtera isone ofdistributorin Palu who distribute products to a variety of shops. Goal Programming is a method that can solve the problem with more than one purposes. The purposes of this study are  to maximize the number of the car and minimize the distribution  cost of  PT.Sinar Niaga Sejahtera. Goal Programming model formulationin this research consistsof 6 priorities and 6 function constraints. The sixth priorities are,warehous capacity, the number of cars used to the distribution of goods to store Sinar Kasih II,store Cahaya Indah, store Bintang  Rezeki, store Hi. Abdullah, and a minimum distribution costs. Constraint functions consist of a number of cars and the cost of distribution. The research results showed that the supply of goods by the warehouse capacity that can fulfiil the necessary distribution of goods during the month amounted to 136.93 or 8.628 box Optimal volume distribution of goods in each store are sequentially Sinar Kasih II which is 2 units with a capacity of 4  or 252 box, Cahaya Indah 3 units with a capacity of 7  or 441 box, Hi. Abdullah 2 units with a capacity of 12 or 756 box and Star 2 cars Rezeki capacity of 4 . This model can save the distribution costs of Rp. 7.127.147 from the previous distribution costs of Rp. 35.000.000.

Abstract

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is one of the Indonesian potential natural plant resources. Its fruit is a main part of the tree that plays an important role in raw materials industry. It is because the material could be processed to be a benefical various products. The diversity of the coconut fruit products leads to the importance of the study on coconut growth phase development. The model is expressed in a system of differential equation ???????? ???????? = ???? − ???????? − ????1????, ???????? ???????? = ???????? − ????2???? − ????????, ???????? ???????? = ???????? − ????3???? − ϵ????, ???????????? ???????? = ???????? − ????4???????? − γ????????, ???????????? ???????? = ???????????? − ????5???????? − ????????????, ???????????? ???????? = ???????????? − ????6???????? . The dinamic of coconut growth phase is studied by consider its stability at the critical point. The stability is determined using linearization method. The solution is analyzed both analitically and numerically. Simulated a stable endemic critical point indicates that the coconut production could be well prevent in each phase of growth

Abstract

This study was conducted to obtain optimal costs of transportation in the distribution of Ceramics at PT. Indah Bangunan Palu. This research is carried out by several steps such as: making the model transportation of obtained the data, determining the initial solution by the method of Least cost, and finding the optimal solution with Modified Distribution (MODI) method. The research results showed that an initial solution is ????????. 53.919.000 and the optimal solution is ????????. 53.756.000. On the other hand the transportation cost from the company before optimization is ????????. 62.126.000. This indicates that PT. Indah Bangunan Palu can optimize the costs of transport for the distribution of ceramics on September 2016 with a cost savings of ????????. 8.370.000 or 13%

Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is a common problem because it reflects the value of socio-economic welfare of society and has had enormous influence on the quality of human resources. Settings menu maternal anemia is an effort to maintain the condition of pregnant women with anemia. This study aims to obtain optimal value nutritional needs of pregnant women anemia in Ampana Tete District of Tojo Una-Una Central Sulawesi province by using the branch and bound method. The parameters used in this study are the type of staple foods (????1 ), the type of vegetable(????2 ), types of fruit(????3 ), types of side dishes(????4 ), green beans(????5 ), and milk(????6 ), Results show 1st, 2 nd, and 3 rd of 36 combinations known to the most optimal combination for all trimester is a combination of 14. For the first trimester are as many as rice, 348 g spinach were 116 g,chicken eggs as 482 gmuch,and green beans 138 g, at a cost of ????????. 15680,00, 2nd trimester is as much as rice, 381 g spinach amount to 167 g, chicken 690 g eggs, and green beans as much as 154 g and of milk 3 g at a cost of ???????? 20498,50, and the third trimester is rice, 345 g spinach, 127 g, chicken 914 g eggs, and green beans 176 g, at a cost of ????????. 24086.00 per day. The analysis has not been as expected because one of the drawbacks is the use of linear programming linearity as sumption that sometimes does not correspond to reality.

Abstract

The queue is a common situation that is common in our daily lives as consumers waited in front of the booth to get a turn to the service or service facilities. One example is the manufacture queue Student Identity Card (KTM) Tadulako in Bank BNI UNTAD. The purposes of this research is to analyze the characteristics of the making of queue Student Identity Card (KTM) Tadulako in Bank BNI of UNTAD. By calculating the probability were no queues (????0 ),the average customer in the queue (????????),the average customer in the system (???????? ),the average waiting time for customers in the queue (Wa ),the average time waiting for customers in the system (W???? ). The results showed that the model type of queue that is used in the manufacture of Student Card (KTM) Tadulako in Bank BNI UNTAD is a model of multiple channels-multiple phase (M / M / S) with a Poisson arrival pattern distribution and exponential distribution service time. The analysis shows the performance characteristics of a queuing system manufacture KTM BANK BNI of UNTAD can be said to have been effective, because of the steady state in each stage. On Wednesday, the value of (????0 ) at CS is 0,145 and the teller is 0.8879,for the value of (????????) in CS is 1.8821 and the teller customer is a customer 0.0004 tothe value (???????? ) 3.4948is the customer, to the value of (Wa ) on CS is 33.5373 minutes and the teller was 0.0075 minutes, to the value of (W???? ) is 74.1952 minutes. Abstract

The existence of mercury as a pollutant in the water environment caused by industrial activities and natural process can gives directly and indirectly impact to the marine life. As an example, it makes the reduction of water quality. Considering the mercury as the most dangerous pollutant, it would require a proper handling program to reduce the amount of mercury in the water environment. such as planting of hyperakumulator plant. Rhizophora mucronata is one of hyperakumulator plants that can absorb mercury effectively. This study discusses the distribution of mercury (Hg) concentrations in Rhizophora mucronata roots, that is investigated mathematically using diffusion model. The modification of the model is ???????? = ???????????????? + ????(????), where ????(????) states absorption roots function in absorbing mercury. A numerical scheme is derived by apply the finite difference method explicit scheme to get the numerical solutions. The simulation shows that the mercury concentrations is reduced from the root bark of the roots towards the central part. The difference of concentration distribution of mercury (Hg) in each layer, from the root bark of the roots towards the central part, will also decreases from the first week to the fifth week of time interval.Keywords : Diffusion Equations, Explicit Finite Difference Schemes, Mangrove, Mercury

Abstract

PT. Prima Alam Lestari Sentosa is a company engaged in six areas such as transporter fuel, industrial fuel agents pertamina, SPPBE, general construction services, mining contractor, and the procurement of goods and services. In carrying out its production activity is associated with supplies of fuel oil. Where inventory is one of management activities related to storage costs and reservations so that the necessary optimization of inventory. In this study the authors using Economic Order Quantity to optimize the inventory. This study aims is to determine the inventory optimization of fuel oil at PT. Prima Alam Lestari Sentosa and compared it with the fuel inventory optimization EOQ method. . PT Prima Alam Lestari Sentosa set the amount every one reservations is 14212.50 liters with the number of bookings 317 timeseach year and the total cost of supply is ????????. 710.304.976,352,- while when using the EOQ method, the ordering amount is 20.225 liters with the number of bookings are as 223 times each year and the total inventory cost ????????. 668.280.488,26,-. Abstract

ABSTRACTPalu as the Capital of Central Sulawesi province is known as one of the crafts made from ebony. Ebony woodcraft industry in Palu begin to increase with the establishment of several business ebony, one of them is Sumber Urip Ebony Store that not only as a shop to sell the crafts, but at the same time as a place to produce the ebony wood crafts . This store have 9 workers and already have an adequate means of production. This study aimed is to propose the hungarian method to solve multi-objective assignment by optimizing the cost and time of production. From the results of the study is obtained that the total cost of producing all kinds of crafts is Rp. 8,080,000, - with a total of 87 days. This indicates more efficient results when compared with the cost of Rp. 12.6 50.000, - with a total of 115 days at Sumber Urip Ebony Store.Keywords : Assignments of Workers, Hungarian Method, Multi-objective Assignment, Optimize.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study offers design of SMS Gateway application based a barcode- SMS Gateway for controlling theconsumption of fuel and reporting the consumption of official vehicles of Tadulako University, Department ofHygiene of Palu City and POLSEK of Easten Palu City. Barcode is an encoded information in form of thin and wide stripe with white line spacing in between. Controlling the fuel consumption is done by recapitulation the data that is send by SMS. It is contain information about the rest of quota for the current month. This application use open source softwares such us Gammu, MySql, Xampp, and PHP. The resulting application only transmit direct current month quota to the institution of Tadulako University, Department of Hygiene of Palu City and POLSEK of Easten Palu City.Keywords : Barcode, Gammu, MySql, PHP, SMS Gateway, Xampp.
