Abstract

Research is an obligation for lecturers to develop their knowledge besides teaching. Until now all lecturer's research is managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service, often called LPPM. College research institute is a place where all lecturer research information can be obtained, problems encountered at tertiary research institutions are the grouping process in the field of lecturer research carried out by the LPPM data and information system section, this is also one of the problems related to text classification . Classification is the process of finding a model that describes and distinguishes classes or concepts that aim to be used to predict classes from objects whose class labels are unknown. Naive Bayes is a simple probabilistic based prediction technique based on the application of the Bayes theorem with strong independence assumptions. In this method there are deficiencies that can affect the accuracy caused by the Naive Bayes feature which is not always applicable. To deal with these problems, researchers conducted a feature selection process using Genetic Algorithms. The dataset used is 275 lecturer research data from all scientific fields. The results of experiments in this study indicate that the accuracy value increased by 26.06% with the use of Genetic Algorithms in the feature selection process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada PT VRC International dalam pendataan database klien marketing agar dapat tersusun rapih, sistematis dan mudah dalam pelaporan. Pembuatan sistem ini menggunakan perangkat lunak NetBeans IDE 8.2 database MYSQL. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam sistem pengolahan data yaitu teknik pengumpulan data seperti wawancara dengan pihak terkait dan melakukan dokumentasi untuk mendapatka informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penulis juga melakukan penelitian dengan metode kepustakaan yang relevan dengan masalah sistem pengolahan data klien marketing. Setelah melakukan penelitian dan analisa permasalahan serta menyelesaikan masalah yang diusulkan, maka penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa, sistem yang berjalan masih dilakukan dengan aplikasi sederhana menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Office dengan dibangunnya sistem database klien pada PT VRC International bisa mempermudah bagian penginput data dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya.

Abstract

Abstrak: PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang mendistribusikan (distributor/agen tunggal) produk pentair di Indonesia. Dalam pengolahan data inventory filter air selama ini masih menggunakan sistem manual dengan media kertas, sehingga dalam perhitungan inventory filter air mengalami hambatan terjadinya kesalahan perhitungan barang masuk dan barang keluar yang ada di gudang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Metode penelitian menggunakan R&D ini merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengasilkan suatu produk. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi inventory filter air yang mempermudah bagian gudang dan admin memberikan laporan ke pimpinan dan membantu meminimalkan tingkat kesalahan perhitungan barang masuk dan barang keluar. Pada sistem inventory filter air menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML), Setelah peneliti membuat sistem informasi inventory filter air, harapannya agar dapat mempermudah kerja pihak-pihak yang terkait.Kata kunci: Perancangan, Sistem Informasi, Inventory Abstract: PT. XYZ is a company that distributes (distributor/sole agent) pentair products in Indonesia. In the water filter inventory data processing so far, it is still using a manual system with paper media, so that in calculating the water filter inventory there are obstacles to the occurrence of errors in calculating incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) research method. The research method using R&D is a research method used to produce a product. This research produces a water filter inventory information system that makes it easier for the warehouse and admin parts to provide reports to the leadership and help minimize the error rate of calculating incoming and outgoing goods. In the water filter inventory system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), after the researchers created a water filter inventory information system, the hope is that it can facilitate the work of the parties involved.Keywords: Design, Information System, Inventory

Abstract

HRIS application is an application that is needed to manage human resources well and integrated the system. Usability in a system is very necessary in the development of a system so that it can affect the use of the application. The author tests the usability user interface on HRIS products using the cognitive walkthrough evaluation method, which works through a series of task scenarios and asks a number of questions from the user's perspective, and the method of usefulness, satisfaction, ease of use (USE) Questionnaire to assess how much usability is done by the user. The cognitive walkthrough testing is done by using the application that has been made by the author, after that the author makes improvements to the system according to the results of the test. Then after being repaired, the system was tested again with the same application, then the results were assessed using the USE Questionnaire and compared with previous results. The result is that the system has increased from previously by 3.67 from a scale of 1-5 to 4.04, up by 0.34.
