Abstract

AbstrakBahasa Tarfia dituturkan oleh masyarakat Kampung Kamdera, Distrik Demta, Kabupaten Jayapura, Provinsi Papua. Bahasa Tarfia sebagai sebuah bahasa, terdiri atas beberapa kelas kata, di antaranya adalah adverbia. Sebagai kelas kata tertutup, adverbia menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakana metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan adverbia dalam bahasa Tarfia. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, adverbia bahasa Tarfia dari segi bentuk terdiri atas adverbia yang berupa kata dasar dan adverbia yang berupa kata ulang. Berdasarkan perilaku sintaksis, adverbia bahasa Tarfia terdapat dua posisi, yaitu  adverbia yang mendahului kata yang diterangkan atau yang terletak di sebelah kiri kategori dan adverbia yang mengikuti kata (setelah kata) yang diterangkan atau posisi adverbia di sebelah kanan kategori. Dari segi makna, adverbia dalam bahasa Tarfia dapat menyatakan beberapa makna, yaitu sangkalan, penjumlahan,  pembatasan, derajat, kala, keseluruhan, kepastian, menyuguhkan, keharusan, keinginan, frekuensi, dan kesanggupan.                                         AbstractTarfia language is spoken by people ini Kamdera Village, Demta District, Jayapura Regency, Papua Province. As a language, Tarfia consists of several parts of speech. One of them is adverb. As a closed part of speech, adverb has its own appeal to be studied. Hence, by using a descriptive method, this study aims to describe adverbs ini Tarfia language. According to analysis, adverb in Tarfia, refers to its form, consist of two forms, they are word-base adverb and reduplication word adverb. Based on its syntax, adverb of Tarfia has two positions. One is preceding adverb (on the left side of adverb) and another is following adverb (on the right side of adverb). In term of sense, Tarfia language is able to express several meanings, such as, negation, calculation, limitation, degree, tense, entirely, probability, serving, must, desire, frequency, and ability.

Abstract

Kanum Sota Language is one of the regional languages contained in Papua Province with a small number of speakers. Kanum Sota language is spoken by the community of Kampung Sota, Merauke Regency, located in the border area of Indonesia with Papua New Guinea. This research is a field research. The data collection of this research using the method of conversation that is to do conversation with speakers as resource persons with the provocative technique as basic technique and face to face technique, and note technique as the next technique. This study was conducted to describe the pronouns of Kanum Sota language. Kanum Sota language recognizes three kinds of pronouns, namely (1) personal pronoun, (2) demonstrative pronoun, and (3) interrogative pronoun.

Abstract

Conjunction have function to connect two or more language elements. Conjunction as one of means to achieve cohesiveness a discourse, including novel as a discourse prose. As do in the novel Sali: Kisah Seorang Wanita Suku Dani, the author uses conjunctions to connect the word with the word, phrase by phrase, clause by clause, and sentence by sentence so as to create a cohesive meaning. Continuum meaning that contained in the novel Sali: Kisah Seorang Wanita Suku Dani, and its conjunction as a causal relation with conjunctions sebab, karena, and maka; relation of conflict with conjunctions tetapi and namun; relation of exceptions or ekseptif with conjunction kecuali; relation of konsesif with conjunction meskipun; relation of purpose with conjunction supaya; relation of addition or additive with conjunctions dan, juga, and serta; relation of choice or alternative with conjunction atau; relation of sequence or sekuensial with conjunction kemudian; relation of time with conjunction setelah; relation of terms with conjunction apabila, and relation of manner in conjunction dengan.

Abstract

Namla language is one of many languages in Papua which has a small number of native speakers. This language is spoken by Namla tribe, in Namla village, Senggi District, Keerom, Papua. Namla language has several word classes, like most other languages around the world. One of this class is adjective. In this article, adjective in Namla based upon the same word class in Bahasa Indonesia from its semantically behavior. There are two main types of adjective, there are, stratified adjective and non-stratified adjective. stratified adjective states a quality of noun, consist of (1) adjective of characteristic, (2) adjective of size, (3) adjective of colour, (4) adjective of time/age, (5) adjective of distance, (6) adjective of emotions, and (7) adjective of senses/touches. Non-stratified adjective states a membership of a noun in a group.

Abstract

Poetry as a discourse is arranged by grammatical and lexical aspects. Therefore, to know what grammatical and lexical aspects are used by the author in writing the poem "Papua", this study uses a method called the descriptive method. The grammatical aspects contained in the poem "Papua", namely referential (reference) consist of (1) reference persona (first person singular, first person singular bound form, second person singular, and second person singular bound form), (2) demonstrative reference and (3) comparative reference and coupling (conjunctions) and conjunctions (conjunctions) consist of addition conjunctions (additives) and causal conjunctions. The lexical aspects contained in the poem "Papua", namely repetition consist of epizeuksis repetitions and anaphora repetitions, synonym phrases with phrases, and absolute antonymy. Both of these aspects, grammatical and lexical aspects, are used by poets to compose word by word to produce a cohesive and coherent poetic text.
