Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of men's wallets along with items and what features are contained in the wallet. A wallet is a container that is used to store money or valuable cards. Along with the times and lifestyles, wallets come with various designs and features, but many wallets have changed because of the needs and development of payment technology, so users must be able to adjust wallet designs according to their needs. This study uses a qualitative method, the research method used to examine natural object conditions where the researcher is a key instrument, source and data sampling is done in a "purposive" and "snowball" technique, data collection techniques with triangulation (combined), Next, what the researchers do is interpret the results of the data analysis which will finally get a conclusion that contains the essence of all research data. The results showed that there are 5 types of men's wallets and each type of wallet has its own organizing functions and has a quick access feature.

Abstract

Penggunaan bantal telah dimulai sejak jutaan tahun yang lalu dengan menggunakan benda mati seperti kayu atau batu yang ada disekitar lingkungan tempat tinggal. Bantal adalah sebuah benda yang digunakan sebagai alas kepala, alas duduk, atau sandaran punggung yang dijahit menyerupai bentukkarung lalu diisi dengan kapuk, kapas, atau bahan lainnya. Kebutuhan manusia akan bantal pun meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi berbagai macam bantal mulai bermunculan hingga bantal dapat di klasifikasikan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Tiga jenis bantal utama yaitu bantal tidur, bantal ortopedi dan bantal dekoratif. Bantal leher termasuk ke dalam bantal ortopedi. Bantal leher adalah adalah bantal yang mempunyai bentuk menyerupai tapal kuda atau huruf U yang biasa digunakan sebagai penyangga leher agar tetap nyaman. Saat ini bantal leher yang beredar di masyarakat sangatlah beragam, mulai dari keberagaman bentuk, penggunaan material, dan penambahan fungsi lainya yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan kenyamanan bagi penggunanya. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa desain produk bantal leher mulai dari bentuk, material, serta fungsinya. Sampel analisa produk yang diambil adalah 10 buah bantal leher. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan cara observasi, literatur, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitianmenunjukan bahwa bentuk dan material dari bantal leher sangat berpengaruh terhadap penggunanya dan pengguna akan memilih bantal yang membuatnya merasa nyaman.

Abstract

A flyover is known as a facility on the road as an option to drive to reach the destination. On the streets, signage is known as a medium to explain the direction or purpose of someone to be able to know the direction and purpose. As street furniture, signage is one of the facilities that are not infrequently present somewhere. So someone can find out where he is. By using the consultation method and including interviews with partners, solving the problem through community service programs will be carried out in the form of signage design that will be made on any part that requires information about the place or crossroads in the basement area of the flyover in the area of West Jakarta. The signage design of the consultation results as a guide can be continued to the stage of making the object by taking into account the elements of the environment and the people in the area. So that in its application, signage design can help the general public to know the direction and the area to be addressed.
