ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan; (1) implementasi budaya mutu; (2) dampak budaya mutu dalam meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik; (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi budaya mutu di SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedekatan kualitatif, dengan rancang studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik kondensasi, penyajian data dan verivikasi data. Selanjutnya data diuji keabsahannya dengan menggunakan teknik credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi budaya mutu yang diterapkan melalui kegiatan karya ilmiah remaja dan sekolah pemimpin. Dampak dari penerapan budaya mutu dapat dilihat dari segi keilmuan dan non-keilmuan. Dari segi keilmuan yaitu peserta didik bisa melakukan penelitian, mengikuti lomba, dan meraih prestasi juara. Sedangkan dari segi non keilmuan peserta didik dapat meningkatkan ketelatenan, keberanian, kesabaran, daya juang, serta semangat dalam meraih prestasi. Budaya mutu didukung oleh faktor luar seperti sarana prasarana, SDM, dan manajemen, serta faktor dalam seperti niat, tekad, dan motivasi. Namun juga terdapat kendala yang menghambat pelaksanaan budaya mutu seperti fasilitas yang kurang lengkap, karakter peserta didik yang gampang menyerah, serta motivasi yang kurang. Kata kunci : implementasi, dampak, faktor pendukung, dan faktor penghambat.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to find out and describe; (1) implementation of quality culture; (2) the impact of quality culture in improving student achievement; (3) supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of quality culture at Al ? Hikmah Senior High School Surabaya. The research method used is qualitative approach, with case study design. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The data obtained are then analyzed by condensation, data presentation and data verification techniques. Then the data are tested for validity by using the techniques of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of this study are the implementation of quality culture that is applied through the activities of youth scientific work and leader schools. The impact of the application of quality culture can be seen in terms of scientific and non-scientific. In scientific terms, students can do research, participate in competitions, and win championship achievements. While in terms of non-scientific students can improve patience, courage, passion, and enthusiasm in achieving achievement. Quality culture is supported by external factors such as infrastructure, human resources, and management, as well as factors such as intention, determination, and motivation. But there are also obstacles that inhibited the implementation of a quality culture such as incomplete facilities, easily giving up character of students, and lack of motivation.
