Abstract

Stroke is a disease of functional brain disorders such as nerve paralysis (neurologic deficit) due to impaired blood flow minds around. Knowledge keuarga very influential and important role in the healing process of stroke patients. The purpose of this study to determine how the level of knowledge of the family in caring for stroke patients at the space Merak II hospitals Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru 2013. This research is quantitative, descriptive design. The population in this study were all relatives of patients who had a stroke who were treated at the Peacock Room II hospitals Arifin Achmad. The samples in this study using accidental sampling technique with a sample of 30 men in this study. Research tool that uses the questionnaire. From the analysis of the data obtained the majority of respondents 30-39 years as many as 15 people (50%), the majority of the level of knowledge of the family in caring for stroke patients at home higher by 7 people (23.33%), while as many as 18 people (60%), much lower 5 people (16.66%). expect to health professionals and to better provide health education especially families of stroke patients who would go home in order to care for stroke patients at home.

Abstract

Dental hygiene in children is an important factor that should be considered as early as possible, because tooth decay that occurs at the age of children, can affect the growth of teeth at the next age.The purpose of this research is to know the description of student's behavior about dental health at SD Negeri 005Gunung Malelo Koto Kampar Hulu Year 2017. The population in this study are students of Class IV and V which amounted to 78 people. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling with a sample size of 78 people. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and then processed withediting, coding, data entry, tabulating, cleaning and then analyzed by univariate analysis. The result of the research shows that the students' knowledge about dental health mostly have enough knowledge of 35 people (44,9%), student attitude about dental health majority have positive attitude as much 40 people(51,3%), and student's action about majority dental health ever As many as 52 people (66.7%). It is expected that the State Elementary School 005 Gunung Malelo Koto Kampar Hulu in order to continue the socialization and continuous health education to the students about dental health.

Abstract

Stop breathing or Heart Stop when experienced by someone, then not necessarily someone mengalamo death. Victims can be rescued and recoverable immediately. the first action taken to restore a person who has stopped breathing and cardiac arrest. This aid should be mastered by the layman, because it can be done before the victims. In its development, the teenagers are asked to be more resilient in facing the situation in the era of globalization. The purpose of community service is to train the next generation to reduce the effects of injury, disability and death during cardiac arrest stop and breast cancer. The benefits of this devotional activity are expected for future generations to be able to reverse the ways of giving stop breathing and cardiac arrest to reduce the effects of injury, disability and death. community devotion is done in Ponpes Ubudiyahtussalam Fold Cloth. This method of devotion is carried out in the form of training for 9 hours with the initial method given a lecture material, then didemostrasi using phantom try, after that students are asked one by one try. 100% Students are able to practice how to provide stop breathing and cardiac arrest using phantomKey words: Stop breathing or Heart Stop Abstrak : Henti Nafas ataupun Henti Jantung ketika dialami oleh seseorang, maka belum tentu sesorang tersebut mengalamo kematian. Para korban dapat ditolong dan dapat segera dipulihkan. tindakan pertama yang dilakukan untuk memulihkan kembali seseorang yang mengalami henti nafas dan henti jantung. Bantuan inilah yang harus dikuasai oleh orang awam, karena bisa dilakukan sebelum korban.Dalam perkembanganya, remaja diminta untuh lebih tangguh dalam menghadapi situasi di era globalisasi. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melatih generasi penerus untuk mengurangi efek cedera, cacat serta kematian saat terjadi henti nafas henti jantung dan kanker payudara. Manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan kepada generasi penerus untuk dapat mengalikasinya cara memberikan bantuan henti nafas dan henti jantung guna mengurangi efek cedera, cacat serta kematian . pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Ponpes Ubudiyahtussalam Lipat Kain. Metode Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan selama 9 jam dengan metode awal diberikan ceramah materi, kemudian didemostrasi menggunakan phantom coba, setela itu siswa diminta satu persatu mencobakan. Para Siswa-siswi 100% mampu mampraktekkan bagaimana cara memberikan bantuan henti nafas dan henti jantung dengan menggunakan phantom Kata Kunci: Bantuan Henti Nafas, Henti Jantung

Abstract

Gizi baik sangat penting sebagai fondasi pembangunan Sumber Daya Masyarakat yang berkualitas. Perbaikan gizi keluarga merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemandirian melalui kegiatan yang melibatkan keluarga masyarakat sasaran agar mereka dapat mengenal dan mencoba mencari penyelesaian masalah gizi keluarga terutama di masa Pandemi Covid-19 ini. Kegiatan ini bekerjasama dengan Klinik Pratama Cita Sehat Pekanbaru yang mempunyai kelompok masyarakat binaan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan upaya promosi kesehatan (promotif) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang peningkatan gizi keluarga pada guru MDA dan guru ngaji di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Pekanbaru. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi, acara dilanjutkan dengan pemberian sembako, dan demo masakan berbahan dasar protein nabati yaitu tahu dan tempe. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung selama ± 3 jam dengan dihadiri oleh masyarakat sasaran sebanyak 20 orang. Pengetahuan masyarakat sasaran mengenai gizi seimbang meningkat dari 57,14% sebelum penyuluhan menjadi 87,69% setelah diberikan materi mengenai gizi seimbang dan peningkatan gizi keluarga.
