Abstract

AbstrakPelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh di Perguruan Tinggi menuntut dosen untuk mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, kreatif dan menyenangkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah satu orang ahli materi, satu orang ahli media dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Batanghari Jambi semester II (dua).  Sedangkan, objek penelitian adalah kelayakan media pembelajaran yang meliputi aspek materi, aspek pembelajaran, aspek tampilan dan aspek penyajian media. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan yaitu modifikasi model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Proses pengembangan media pembelajaran Powerpoint pada mata kuliah Kalkulus II di Universitas Batanghari Jambi merujuk pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 (lima) tahapan yaitu Analisis (Analysis), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Develop), Implementasi (Implement) dan Evaluasi (Evaluate); (2) Kelayakan media pembelajaran Powerpoint pada mata kuliah Kalkulus II di Universitas Batanghari Jambi berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi memperoleh rerata seluruh aspek yaitu 4,58 sehingga materi pembelajaran powerpoint sangat layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan penilaian ahli media memperoleh rerata 4,67 sehingga media pembelajaran powerpoint sangat layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran; dan (3) Kelayakan media pembelajaran Powerpoint pada mata kuliah Kalkulus II berdasarkan penilaian mahasiswa memperoleh rerata seluruh aspek yaitu 4,32 sehingga media pembelajaran Powerpoint sangat layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Media Pembelajaran Powerpoint, Kalkulus II AbstractThe implementation of distance learning in higher education requires lecturers to be able to create an active, innovative, creative and fun learning process. The subjects of this research are onematerial expert, one media expert and second semester (two) students of the mathematics education studi program, faculty of teacher training and education Batanghari Jambi University. Meanwhile, the object of research is the feasibility of learning media which includes material aspects, learning aspects, display aspects and media presentation aspects. The research procedure used is the modification of the ADDIE development model. The result of this study are: (1) The process of developing powerpoint learning media in Calculus II course at the University of Batanghari Jambi refers to the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 (five) stage, namely analysis, design and development, implementation (implement) and evaluation (evaluate); (2) The feasibility of powerpoint learning media in Calculus II course at Batanghari University Jambi based on the assessment of material experts obtained an average of all aspects of 4,58 so that powerpoint learning materials are very suitable for use in the learning process. Furthermore, based on the assessment of media experts,it obtained an average of 4,67 so that the powerpoint learning media was very suitable to be used in the learning process; and (3) The feasibility of powerpoint learning media in the Calculus II course based on student assessments obtained an average of all aspects of 4,32 so that powerpoint learning media is very feasible to be used in the learning process.Keywords: Development, Powerpoint Learning Media, Calculus II

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of ability to comprehend the concept of mathematical high students have the ability to understand good concept and able to solve every problem correctly that meet the indicators of concept understanding this is (a) Ability to re-state a concept; (b) the ability to develop necessary terms or sufficient conditions from a concept; (c) Ability to use, utilize and select certain procedures; and (d) Ability to apply concepts to problem solving. Meanwhile, the level of ability to understand the concept of low students don’t have the ability to understand good mathematical concepts and students have not been able to use the concepts that have been studied to solve the problem. The ability to comprehend low mathematical concepts of students is only able to meet 2 of the 4 indicators understanding the concept provided but not the maximum. Indicators that are fulfilled are (a) re-state a concept only partially; and (2) Ability to use, utilize and select certain procedures.

Abstract

The background of this research by the ability of students' mathematical concepts. This is due to the teachers who are more active in the learning process, whereas students only receive the material and noted that learning math is very boring for students. The population in this study were all students of class VIII except VIII class F SMPN 2 Jambi. Sampling using random sampling so that the sample drawn is VIII A and VIII B with different treatment. The results showed that the average ability students' understanding of mathematical concepts experimental class was 72.33 with a standard deviation of 6.7, and the average value of the ability of understanding mathematical concepts control class 59.75 with a standard deviation of 8.6. Based on the results of hypothesis test obtained t at 5.46 and 1.67 ttable on the real level of 0.05. From the results of these calculations seem that thitung greater than ttabel this H1 accepted, meaning the ability of understanding mathematical concepts taught students through cooperative learning model Think Pair share better than the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that students are taught through direct learning model. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dalam mengerjakan soal PISA berdasarkan indikator kemampuan penalaran. dalam penelitian ini populasi yang peneliti ambil adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA N 3 Kota Jambi. hasil penelitian yang diproleh nilai rata-rata laki-laki 66,85 sedangkan rata-rata siswa perempuan 70,18. berdasarkan indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis yang pertama, siswa laki-laki masih melakukan kesalahan dalam menuliskannya sedangkan siswa perempuan dalam mengajukan dan menuliskan dugaan sudah lengkap.Berdasarkan indikator kedua, siswa laki-laki dapat menentukan pola, sedangkan pada siswa perempuan cenderung banyak melakukan kesalahan dalam menentukan dan membuat pola.Berdasarkan indikator ketiga,dalam membuat manipulasi matematika siswa laki-laki melakukannya dengan langkah-langkah singkat,sedangkan siswa perempuan melakukannya dengan lengkap dan disertai satuan untuk setiap penulisannya.sedangkan untuk indikator keempat yaitu menarik kesimpulan, laki-laki dan perempuan tidak dapat melakukannya.

Abstract

This research is based on facts in the research location. Based on the results of preliminary observation in MAN Sungai Gelam Muaro Jambi Regency, the facts given in relation to the still poor problem solving problems mathematically students, seen from the answer given problem. In this study the population is all students of grade XI MIA MAN Sungai Gelam. The results showed that students' mathematical problem solving ability using Student Facilitator and Explaning learning model in teaching mathematics of the subject of relation and function in grade XI MIA MAN Sungai Gelam that is: (1) Based on the result of posttest obtained the result of learning mathematics of student of sample class on relation material and function for the experimental class using Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model obtained an average of 8.2 and control class using direct learning model obtained an average of 5.8 (2) Based on the final result it can be concluded that the problem solving ability of students using mathematical Student Facilitator And Explaning learning model is higher than direct learning model of XI MIA MAN Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi.Keywords: Learning Model Student Facilitator And Explaning, Mathematical Problem Solving abilities

Abstract

Abstract: This research is an experimental research. Population in this research is all students of class VIII SMPN 2 Kuala Tungkal Academic Year 2017/2018. Sampling using simple random sampling while the research samples are taken class VIII A and VIII B. where two classes of samples are given different treatment. From the results of research conducted the average value for the experimental class is 80,75 with standard deviation 5,12 and the average control class is 68,12 with standard deviation4,92 and from the results of hypothesis test obtained tcount of 10,1 and ttable of 1,67 at the real level of 0,05. From the calculation it is seen that tcount greather than ttable then H1 accepted. Based on the final result, it can be concluded that the problem solving ability of mathematics students using SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visuallization, Intellectually) learning model is better than the Direct learning model in students of grade VIII SMPN 2 Kuala Tungkal.Keyword: Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectualy) learning model, Direct Learning Model.

Abstract

This research is motivated because students' ability to master mathematical concepts cannot be measured only from student learning outcomes, but in students' thinking processes in solving problems. One way can be analyzed through solving math problems. Because, in solving problems it is impossible for students' minds to be exactly the same as other students because each individual has a different thinking style, these differences can be expressed through cognitive styles. The thinking process indicators used in this study are 1) understanding formation 2) opinion formation 3) decision formation 4) drawing conclusions. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the thinking process of Field Independent (FI)-Field Dependent (FD) students in solving math problems. This research was conducted in class XII MIPA SMA N 3 Jambi city in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used for data collection in this study is the method of tests and interviews. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself and other instruments, namely the GEFT test, math test question sheets, and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Students with the FI cognitive style fulfill all stages of the thinking process well in solving math problems and can develop their own structure on different questions. 2) Students with FD cognitive style can only fulfill the stages of opinion formation and decision formation for questions that have been done frequently and have difficulty solving different questions from before. That way, teachers need to adapt learning to students' cognitive styles and need to train students with questions that improve students' thinking processes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas X Akutansi 3 dalam menyelesaiakan soal pemecahan masalah program linier menurut teori Polya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 orang siswa yang dipilih dengan kriteria subjek yang paling banyak mengalami kesalahan yang bervariasi setiap soal. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Untuk memeperoleh data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesalahan siswa dianalisis berdasarkan langkah pemecahan masalah menurut Polya, yaitu : 1) memahami masalah, 2) membuat rencana penyelesaian, 3) menyelesaikan masalah, dan 4) memeriksa kembali. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa antara lain, 1) Dalam memahami masalah, siswa dapat memahami informasi yang diberikan dan siswa dapat menetapkan informasi yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan dari soal. 2) Dalam membuat rencana penyelesaian, siswa dapat menentukan dan merancang bagaimana cara untuk memecahkan masalah dari informasi yang diberikan. Hanya saja terkadang siswa membuat langkah penyelesaian yang tidak tersusun jelas dan kurang lengkap. 3) Dalam menyelesaikan masalah, siswa dapat menyelesaikan masalah sesuai dengan rencana yang telah dibuat. Namun masih terdapat kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa, karena tidak dapat menyelesaikan langkah penyelesaian dengan lengkap. 4) Dalam memeriksa kembali, siswa tidak terbiasa untuk memeriksa kembali solusi yang di peroleh dan siswa tidak terbiasa membuat kesimpulan atau menuliskan kembali hasil yang diperoleh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKPD Matematika ke dalam game untuk memberikan kemudahan bagi peserta didik dalam belajar matematika pada materi aritmatika social. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan Analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi (ADDIE). Hasil penelitian ini adalah Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berupa Game pada materi Aritmatika Sosial untuk SMP kelas VII. 1). hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata 4,3 termasuk kriteria Sangat Baik, dengan persentase sebesar 86 % dengan kriteria Sangat Valid, 2). hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh rata-rata 4 termasuk kriteria Baik, dengan persentase sebesar 80% dengan kriteria Valid, 3). hasil validasi ahli desain diperoleh rata-rata 4,37 termasuk kriteria Sangat Baik dengan persentase 87,5% dengan kriteria Sangat Valid, 4). Respon peserta didik pada uji coba perorangan diperoleh rata-rata 4,39 termasuk kriteria Sangat Baik dengan persentase 87,87% dengan kriteria Sangat Praktis, 5). Respon peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh rata-rata 4,54 termasuk kriteria Sangat Baik dengan persentase 90,89% dengan kriteria Sangat Praktis, 6). Respon peserta didik pada uji coba lapangan diperoleh ratarata 4,34 termasuk kriteria Sangat Baik dengan persentase 86,9% dengan kriteria Sangat Praktis. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh dari penilaian ahli (materi, media, desain) dan data repon peserta didik yang diperoleh dari uji coba produk, maka disimpulkan pengembangan LKPD menggunakan software construct 2 yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.
