Abstract

Language is one of the tools for communicating. English is one of the languages that are used to communicate. Mastering simple present tense is able to make English communicating run well, effectively, and clearly. Using the English language to communicate in daily life should comprehend about simple present tense because this tense more often to be used than other tenses for daily communication. This paper will explain how to make sentences using simple present and how to use simple present in communicating. Simple present tense refers to something happened in present time. The students will be easy to understand and use tense by knowing who the subject in the sentence is, knowing the sentence kinds, and knowing the sentence form.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja mengajar guru ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 039 Tembilahan Kecamatan Tembilahan Hulu Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran ekonomi dan siswa kelas XI IPS. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja mengajar guru ekonomi. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 88 siswa. tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tekhnik analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai rtabel < rhitung pada taraf signifikan 1% dan 5% (0,270 < 0,350 > 0,207) yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadapkinerja mengajar guru ekonomi. Besarnya persentase pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja mengajar guru ekonomi sebesar 12,2%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 87,8% dipengaruhi oleh variable lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
