Abstract

Background: In general, mental illness poses the burden to the government, family, and community because of the patient’s low productivity and high-cost treatment. Recovery Based Program is a method to treat people with a mental health issue, which focus on the patient’s personal journey to have meaningful life despite the limitation of the illness. Several stakeholders of mental health have been trying to adopt it. Nevertheless, various problems arise at the time of the program execution. Objective: Purpose of this study is to obtain information regarding the experiences of stakeholder in recovery-based program implementation. Methods: Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach has been conducting. Five program holders from various institutions/organizations which running mental health program in West Java interviewed. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s method. Results: The result of this study revealed three themes: mental health services from stakeholder’s perspective, awareness of recovery, and efforts to overcome mental health challenges. Discussion: There is an urgency for enacting mental health regulation in a local scope, incorporating evidence-based practices into mental health programs and creating nursing homes for people with mental illness after being hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital. Conclusion: Mental health stakeholders encountered varied experience. However, they maintained an optimistic perception about Recovery Based Program for Mental Health in future.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of Bhayangkara Setukpa Hospital. Methods: The research design is correlational using a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 79 people in the inpatient room of Bhayangkara Setukpa Hospital. The data analysis used was univariate analysis with frequency distribution and percentage for each category, bivariate analysis using chi-square. Results: The results showed that the P value = 0.000 means Reject Ho if the P value <0.05, namely there is a relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of Bhayangkara Setukpa Hospital. Conclusion: The results of the study can be concluded that there is a relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction. It is hoped that Bhayangkara Setukpa Hospital can increase maximum patient satisfaction as a form of providing quality health services at the hospital.

Abstract

Dalam sepekan terakhir rasa ingin tahu warga di tanah air soal virus covid-19 semakin tinggi setelah World Health Organization (WHO) menetapkan virus ini sebagai pandemi dan meminta Presiden Joko Widodo menetapkan status darurat nasional corona. Beberapa orang terinfeksi tetapi tidak menunjukkan gejala apapun dan tak merasa tidak enak badan. Kebanyakan orang (sekitar 80%) pulih dari penyakit tanpa perlu perawatan khusus. Sekitar 1 dari setiap 6 orang yang mendapatkan covid-19 sakit parah dan mengalami kesulitan bernapas. Walikota Sukabumi mengatakan, ada 10 warganya yang terkonfirmasi positif covid-19 berasal dari empat sumber. Kegiatan ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan covid -19 melalui pelaksanaan 3M. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan melalui penyuluhan langsung staf dan karyawan Klinik Terapi Gus Mus Raksa Jasad melalui video ceramah. Media penyampaian materi yang akan digunakan adalah video Role Play pelaksanaan 3M di perkantoran. Durasi video penyuluhan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan adalah +10 menit. Banyaknya audiens/penonton yang menyaksikan video ceramah penyuluhan. Antusias peserta pada saat menonton video penyuluhan dan tanggapan positif dalam kolom komentar di setiap media sosial. 90% atau 8 dari 9 peserta memahami materi mengenai pelaksanaan 3M di perkantoran. Diharapkan seluruh staf dan karyawan Klinik Terapi Gus Mus Raksa Jasad dapat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan 3M guna mencegah terpaparnya COVID-19
