Abstract

Volcano-tectonic events in Libungo can be the cause of the presence of geothermal potential. There is no detailed research on shallow subsurface conditions in Libungo that can show the distribution of subsurface fluids. This research aims to create a shallow subsurface model of the Libungo geothermal area based on resistivity data. Resistivity data collection was carried out in the Libungo hot springs area. The electrode configuration used is the Schlumberger configuration. The variation in resistivity values is calculated using current data, potential difference data and geometry factors. The results of the calculation of the resistivity values variation are plotted versus depth. Variations of resistivity value versus depth are then displayed in the form of a single log, lithology distribution and 3D lithology model. The results showed that the shallow subsurface of the Libungo geothermal area was composed of andesite, volcanic breccia, silty clay and clay. Andesite in the research area has resistivity values ranging from 320 - 349 Ωm, has slightly fracture and is andesite dry. Volcanic breccia has a resistivity value of 177-198 Ωm, has a well to slightly fracture and is a volcanic breccia moist. Silty clay has a resistivity value of 3.25-37.99 Ωm and is a wet to moist silty clay. Clay has resistivity values in the range 1.56-2.78 Ωm and is wet to moist clay. Fluid distribution in the shallow subsurface area occurs in volcanic breccia, silty clay and clay. Shallow subsurface fluids accumulate mostly in the northern part of the Libungo geothermal area.

Abstract

ABSTRAKWilayah Kabupaten Bone Bolango merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Gorontalo yang terletak dikawasan Teluk Tomini dan juga sebagai satu kesatuan wilayah penangkapan ikan (fishing ground) bagi nelayan. Sebagai daerah fishing ground tentunya wilayah ini tentunya memiliki potensi kelautan dan perikanan yang cukup besar dan strategis, terutama dalam pengembangan usaha perikanan tangkap, usaha budidaya laut, serta potensi wisata bahari. Dalam Peningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas nelayan dapat menggunakan aplikasi keberadaan ikan. Aplikasi ini menyediakan beberapa fitur seperti lokasi keberadaan ikan, perhitungan BBM dan harga ikan. Sehingga dengan penggunaan aplikasi ini masyarakat nelayan mampu mengoptimalisasi hasil tangkapan ikan, pengurangan waktu pelayaran (lama trip), dan pengurangan biaya trip. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan pada hari minggu, 16 Agustus 2020 Pukul 08.00 - selesai di Desa Molotabu, Kecamatan Kabila Bone, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Kegiatan ini dihadari oleh 27 peserta yang terdiri dari Kepala Desa Molotabu dan Kelompok masyarakat nelayan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dalam penggunaan aplikasi tangkapan ikan melalui pengamatan dan wawancara. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai langkah awal bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dalam mengoptimalisasi penangkapan ikan dan mengupayakan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat.  Program ini diharapkan menjadi program unggulan bagi pemerintah untuk dipertimbangkan, disosialisasikan, diberi bantuan pada masyarakat untuk peningkatan hasil dan tingkat kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat nelayan. Kata kunci: wilayah tangkapan ikan; aplikasi tangkapan ikan. ABSTRACTBone Bolango Regency is one of the regencies in Gorontalo Province, which is located in the Tomini Bay area and is also a fishing ground for fisherman. As a fishing ground area, of course, this area has considerable and strategic marine and fisheries potential, especially in the development of capture fisheries, marine cultivation businesses, and marine tourism potential. In increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of fisherman, they can use the fish presence application. This application provides several features such as the location of where the fish are, the calculation of fuel and fish prices. So that with the use of this application the fishing community can optimize fish catches, reduce shipping time (length of trip), and reduce trip costs. Community service activities are carried out on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 08.00 - finished in Molotabu Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency. This activity was attended by 27 participants consisting of the Village Head of Molotabu and the fishing community group. The evaluation was carried out to see the level of community knowledge by observation and interview. The implementation of this community service is the first step for the community to increase understanding of optimizing fishing and striving to improve the community's economy.This program is expected to be a superior program for the government to be consider, socialized, and given assistance to the community to increase the yield and level of welfare for fishing communities. Keywords: fishing ground; fishing ground aplication.

Abstract

North Sulawesi has one large dam located in Pindol Village, Lolak District. The research objective was to determine the lithology of the bedrock of dam foundation, rock class, and subsurface permeability of the dam. The method used in this research is core logging analysis and water pressure test. The bedrock foundations of the dam consist of andesite units, shale units, sandstone units which are included in the Sedimentary Facies Tinombo Formation and Volcanic Tinombo Formation. The formations are included in the Eocene to Early Oligocene Eocene and deposited in the deep marine environment. The foundation rock class is predominantly CM class (rather soft and fairly weathered rock), the rock quality of design is poor-medium characterized by the presence of broken cores and easily crushed in some parts. Lolak Dam has 6 permeability zones, namely very high, high, medium, moderate, low, and very low permeability with an average lugeon value of 4.43 liters/minute. The standard of lugeon value for the dam foundation is Lu3, so it is necessary to repair the drill points on the pilot hole which has a lugeon value of 3 (low, moderate, medium, high, and very high permeability zones) to increase the capacity foundation rock.

Abstract

Peta geologi desa dibuat berdasarkan data primer dan sekunder, yang menggambarkan kondisi geologi desa tersebut, seperti jenis batuan, penyebaran, hubungan antar batuan, struktur geologi, dan sebagainya dan dibuat dengan skala 1:5.000, 1 : 10.000 atau 1 : 15.000. Peta geologi desa dapat digunakan sebagai acuan desa dalam mengembangkan potensi desa khususnya dalam aspek sumberdaya mineral dan batuan, potensi geowisata, geologi teknik, geologi lingkungan, serta objek belajar kebumian bagi siswa-siswa di desa tersebut. Selain itu, peta geologi desa juga dapat digunakan sebagai sumber informasi ancaman bencaba geologi yang ada di desa tersebut. Bencana geologi yang dimaksud adalah gempa bumi, tanah longsor, gunung api, tsunami, serta bahaya likuifaksi. Tujuan pengabdian membuat peta geologi desa Labanu untuk menjadi data pendukung percepatan pembangunan desa. Tujuan tersebut dapat dicapai dengan metode kajian pustaka dan orientasi medan serta survei geologi lapangan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menghasilkan peta geologi Desa Labanu yang didalamnya memuat satuan batuan, struktur geologi dan stratigrafi daerah Labanu.

Abstract

Daerah Leato Utara dan Selatan, Kota Gorontalo merupakan bagian selatan dari lengan utara Sulawesi. Kondisi geologi daerah penelitian sangat kompleks. Untuk itu penelitian ini sangat menarik dilakukan untuk mengetahui stratigrafi sehingga bisa diketahui rekonstruksi pembentukan daerah Leato Utara dan Selatan, Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis stratigrafi daerah Leato Utara dan Selatan, Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan tersebut akan dicapai menggunakan dua metode penelitian yakni survei lapangan berupa pemetaan geologi detail dan analisis laboratorium berupa analisis petrografi. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada dua satuan geomorfologi, tiga satuan batuan serta tiga kontrol struktur geologi yang bekerja. Satuan granit menjadi satuan tertua yang terbentuk di laut dalam kemudian mengalami pengangkatan di atasnya diendapkan tidak selaras satuan breksi vulkanik dan satuan batugamping terumbu pada lingkungan laut dangkal.

Abstract

Berbah adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Sleman, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Dalam hal kemajuan pendidikan usia dini terdapat beberapa taman kanak-kanak (TK) di kecamatan berbah diantaranya TK PANTI DEWI. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu penilaian rapor hingga saat ini masih menggunakan teknik konvensional ditulis penilaian deskriptif secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang cukup tinggi dalam prosesnya. Hal lain adalah gaya penulisan yang berbeda-beda jika ditulis manual dan beberapa masalah human error baik dari sisi orang tua ataupun guru-guru. Solusi yang ditawarkan tersedianya sebuah website rapor online yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media penunjang dalam penilaian rapor, serta pendampingan pelatihan pengoperasian menggunakan komputer untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru TK Panti Dewi. Dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan juga pendampingan terhadap orang tua anak didik dalam penerimaan rapor menggunakan website. Dengan adanya program ini pada akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan mitra mampu meningkatkan efisiensi waktu penilaian rapor penulisan rapor hasil ajar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien bahkan memberikan invoasi baru bagi orang tua jaman milenial yang anak-anaknya sekolah TK di Panti Dewi saat ini yakni dapat menerima rapor anak dalam bentuk softcopy secara online serta dapat unduh sendiri melalui gadget yang dimiliki

Abstract

Weathering is a natural process due to the work of exogenous forces both physically and chemically which results in the breakdown of rocks and constituent minerals into loose materials. Weathering can cause compact and resistant granite to move easily, causing rock fall in the Leato area, Gorontalo City. This study aims to assess the level of weathering of granite based on X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope Analysis (SEM) analysis. The research objectives will be achieved using two methods consisting of field surveys and laboratory analysis in the form of XRD and SEM analysis. Based on the results and discussion that granite rocks have undergone weathering. Evidence of weathering is clearly shown in SEM photos, namely weathering occurs at the edges of granite rocks.

Abstract

The research location is in Gorontalo City. The location is an area that has geological structural conditions of high complexity. The study used statistical analysis of the robustness data to determine the direction of the firmness and the RQD (rock quality designation) value. The research objectives consist of two, namely knowing the direction of the stress (the main force of tectonic formation) and knowing the RQD value based on the analysis of joint data. To achieve these two objectives, it is carried out with a research method in the form of an inductive method. This method combines the results of a literature review, previous research and field data, all of which are comprehensively studied, analyzed, and synthesized. Statistical analysis (fan diagram) on joint data on granite rocks in Gorontalo City. The results and discussion resulted in the direction of maximum stress (Ï„1) = N 15oE and the direction of minimum stress (Ï„3) = N 75oW. The rock RQD value is 40.60% so that the rock quality in this research area is classified as moderate. The results of the measurement of the joint spacing at this station are obtained from a distance of (5-10) cm, so it is included in the weak scale so that the joint space strongly supports the occurrence of landslides.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a high level of disaster risk. Community preparedness efforts, especially for children, are still lacking, marked by the number of victims of natural disasters which is still very high, with this effort increasing knowledge about disaster mitigation is still very important for the community. This service aims to increase public knowledge, especially students, about disaster mitigation efforts, through outreach activities in several schools. The results of the service show that the level of student knowledge about disaster mitigation is still very lacking and needs to be improved. It is hoped that further actions such as maintenance and supervision as control with the aim of these activities have optimal results to increase students' knowledge about disaster mitigation and the realization of disaster resilient schools.

Abstract

The research aimed to reconstruct the geological structure and tectonics based on fault, shear fracture and veins data of the Botutonuo and surrounding areas. This research was conducted with DEM interpretation method to determine the lineament pattern of rock offsets and the geological structure mapping method. Geological structure analysis was carried out by using kinematic analysis method of fault, fracture and veins data using the Win Tensor program to obtain the direction and type of stress forming it. Based on the results of the analysis, extensive stress and transtensive stress trendingN-S resulted direction of Normal Fault and Slip Fault (NE-SW). Extensional stress trending (NE-SW) is the result of reorientation stress trending (N-S) in the North Sulawesi arm which is accommodated by the Gorontalo Fault regime. Normal fault and slip fault are the 2nd order faults of the 1st order faults of Gorontalo faults.
