Abstract

The film is one of the mass communication media which has a big influence on society at large. a film is also a form of a message consisting of various symbols and signs that form a meaning system so that it can be interpreted by each person differently, depending on the person's reference and ability to grasp the meaning conveyed. The film Dua Lines Biru by Gina S. Noer takes the theme of teenage pregnancy in promiscuity. The interpretation of the conflict in this film scene becomes the background for the research to see the reception of the audience or the public in watching the film Dua Garis Biru. The purpose of this study was to analyze the reception of adolescent audiences on the impact of promiscuity in the film Dua Garis Biru. This research uses a qualitative method with an analytical approach to encoding and decoding theory from Stuart Hall, which observes the audience's position on the meaning of a work. An understanding of the impact of promiscuity in the film Two Blue Lines. The results of this study the audience dominates the Hemegony Position which means the message is conveyed and the audience accepts the meaning or message as it is. But several scenes are in the Negotiated Position and Oppositional Position because the informant has its own alternative meaning or reference in certain scenes.

Abstract

Abstrac — This research is entitled "Utilization of Youtube Streaming Media by ARS TV as Information Media". This study aims to determine the use of Youtube streaming media as a medium for disseminating information. The research used is qualitative research using the case study method with general characteristics that examines the uniqueness of a case which is a strength for researchers to support research methodologies where case studies have dimensions that discuss how and why in the uniqueness of the case being studied. by researchers. This research is descriptive, that is, the researcher tries to describe an object and relates it to the problem being studied. the results of the study found about the advantages, weaknesses, externalities and threats possessed by ARS TV in disseminating information via youtube, the results showed that ARS TV in disseminating information through Youtube was very effective, because the largest video sharing media portal was widely used by the public in seekinginformation.Keyword — Youtube, SWOT Analysis, Laswell Communication Models, ARS TV, Information Media Abstrak  — Penelitian ini berujudul “Pemanfaatan Media Streaming Youtube Oleh ARS TV sebagai Media Informasi”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media streaming Youtube sebagai media penyebaran informasi. Penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus secara ciri-ciri umumnya yang lebih mengkaji perihal keunikan pada suatu kasus yang menjadi kekuatan bagi peneliti untuk menunjang metodologi penelitian yang dimana studi kasus memiliki dimensi yang membahas tentang how and why pada keunikan kasus yang dikaji oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, yaitu peneliti berusaha menggambarkan suatu objek dan menghubungkannya dengan masalah yang sedang diteliti. hasil penelitian ditemukan mengenai keunggulan, kelemahan, peluar serta ancaman yang dimiliki oleh ARS TV dalam menyebarkan informasi melalui youtube, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ARS TV dalam menyebarankan informasi melalui Youtube berjalan sangat efektif, karena mediaportal berbagi video terbesar ini banyak digunakan masyarakat dalam mencari sebuah informasi. Kata Kunci — Youtube, Analisis SWOT, Model Komunikasi Laswell, ARS TV, Media Informasi
