Abstract

Education in Indonesia is not yet independent because the knowledge being taught cannot free students into human beings who are socially and economically independent, instead trapped in new foedalism by pursuing degrees without actual scientific content. The Tan Malaka Education Concept states that an education based on Indonesian character, in line with reality aimed at freeing humans from misery, oppression, and ignorance, makes life more beneficial for oneself and its surroundings, there is no caste and class distinctions. While the noble goal of Islamic education is the process of making humans kaffah (perfect), which is more emphasized on the servitude of a person to his Lord, looking at the same human being seen only taqwa. This shows that Tan Malaka's thought has the same place in placing humans not as objects of education and feudalism, but also as actors in education and making people more useful to others and with quality. Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's strategy in increasing student learning motivation during the covid 19 pandemic at SMPN 2 Peterongan Jombang. The method used in this study uses qualitative field research (field research). This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis methods, namely in the form of written presentation of data regarding related data. The results showed that: 1). The motivations possessed by students at SMPN 2 Peterongan Jombang during the covid 19 pandemic were students who were enthusiastic in learning, felt the need for knowledge or without coercion, had aspirations or hopes for the future, motivated by gifts or awards. given, motivated by interesting learning. 2). The strategy of the principal of SMPN 2 Peterongan in increasing students' learning motivation during the covid 19 pandemic, namely: The principal makes plans regarding active learning steps, the principal holds meetings with teachers and also associations with students as well as parents at school in turn regarding understanding of online system learning, Adding assignments to students that are practical at home, Providing qualitative assessments to students, namely neatness, accuracy and honesty who are diligent, less diligent, not diligent and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1).Describe the management of facilities and infrastructure in SMP Negeri 1 Perak Jombang 2).Describe the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Perak Jombang. The method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive design with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that 1). Management of infrastructure facilities at SMP Negeri 1 Perak Jombang which consists of certain steps systematically, namely: a) Planning is carried out at the beginning of each new school year. The need for facilities and infrastructure, implementation, and the person in charge is stated in the RKAS. Financing in determining the need for facilities and infrastructure is made on a priority scale. b) Procurement of facilities and infrastructure is usually carried out to repair damaged items and submit a proposal to the Office for the repair program. c) Distribution of existing facilities and infrastructure allocates distribution, if there are goods, they can be distributed according to the parties in need. d) Inventory is carried out recording all learning facilities and infrastructure owned by the school. d) Elimination of infrastructure that is not suitable for use by removing it 2). Management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Perak Jombang that the management of facilities and infrastructure is optimal and adequate facilities and infrastructure are able to improve the learning process. As for good management, it has created a conducive classroom atmosphere, an active learning atmosphere.
