Abstract

Timor island consists of five districts and one city, namely Kupang District, South Central Timor District, North Central Timor, Belu District, Malaka District, and Kupang City. On the Timor island, it has natural tourist destinations, culinary tours, cultural and historical attractions most on the island of Timor. The Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Algorithm is very unique compared to the other nearby search algorithm, this algorithm adopted because of Ant Colony who were looking for food from the nest to food sources by leaving a footprint called Pheromone. Mapping system algorithm using ant, tourist sites can show the shortest route between two points is desired. Ants algorithm proved to be applied in determining the optimum route, but still has the disadvantage of dependence on the parameter value is not maximized. From the test results based on parameters of the cycle and the number of ants affects the simulation time, for ant algorithm parameters. From the test results based on the parameters, α and β affects, number of node, the simulation time and the shortest distance varying toward the destination even if the starting location and ending on the same location.

Abstract

From 2006 to the latest data collection in 2017, the number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting East Nusa Tenggara is increasing. In Kupang city as the provincial capital of East Nusa Tenggara. Kupang City is not just a temporary stop when tourists want to transit to other islands in East Nusa Tenggara but have become tourist destinations. The increasing number of tourist visits is not accompanied by a system of recommendations about tourist destinations in the city of Kupang, In this study a recommendation system was built in Kupang City using the weighted product method, which is one of the techniques of Multiple Alternative Decision Making. Weighted products use multiplication to connect attribute ratings. The criteria used in this study are 3 criteria, namely costs, facilities provided and reviews from previous visitors. While for locations or tourist destinations there are 55 tourist destinations in Kupang City which are the alternatives in this study. From the results of the study, for natural attractions, Namosain Beach ranked first to be visited with a value of 0.00519. As for artificial tourism objects, Nostalgia Park is the first place with a value of 0.0805. As for culinary tourism, Nostalgia Park culinary ranks first at 0.0904.

Abstract

This research focuses on the detection of human facial expressions using the Histogram of Oriented Gradient algorithm. Whereas for the classification algorithm, Convolutional Neural Network is used. Image data used in the form of seven different expressions of humans with the extraction of 48x48 pixels. The use of Histogram of Oriented Gradient as a feature extracting algorithm, because Histogram of Oriented Gradient is good to be used in detecting moving objects. Whereas Convolutional Neural Network is used because it is an improvement of the Multi Layer Perceptron algorithm. Of the three epoches done, it produced the best accuracy of 77% re-introduction of human facial expressions. These results are quite convincing because it only uses three epochs.

Abstract

Abstract

Throughout the pandemic, many people have become familiarised with the new type of virus that has been spreading throughout the world, called the Coronavirus. On the 2nd of March, the year 2020, the Indonesian government had announced the identification of first Covid-19 case in Indonesia. With the arrival of Covid-19, and its spreading across all the provinces of Indonesia, the number of positive cases keeps growing even in the present day. Tangerang Regency is one of the areas that has opaqued citizens in the Banten Province. The purpose of this research is to discuss how to predict the sum of Covid-19 cases in the Tangerang Regency using the RNN-LSTM method. Although this method is very eloquent if used to perform a sequential task, its complexity and loss of gradient can make this model difficult to be trained, hence resulting in the use of the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) to reduce these weaknesses and help the RNN to look back on past data. This research uses Python as the programming language and Jupyter Notebook for the visualization of the results of the prediction. Therefore, the prediction model has been evaluated using various computational methods, such as RMSE with its error percentage of 0.05, and MSE and MAE with the same error percentage of 0.03 with the loss of their models being 9.6793e-04.
