Abstract

ABSTRAK. Identifikasi kekerabatan Anthurium koleksi Balai Penelitian Tanaman Jeruk dan Buah Subtropikadilakukan menggunakan pendekatan fenetik. Hasil identifikasi kekerabatan ini akan sangat bermanfaat dalam kegiatanpemuliaan Anthurium untuk menghasilkan varietas baru. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah parameter morfologi,organ vegetatif, organ reproduksi, dan polen. Penentuan hubungan kekerabatan Anthurium dilakukan mengikutipetunjuk Sokal dan Michener (1958). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pemuliaan Balai Penelitian TanamanJeruk dan Buah Subtropika, Tlekung Batu dan Laboratorium Biologi Universitas Negeri Malang dari bulan Juni2005 hingga Januari 2006. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh ciri-ciri umum dan khusus dari masing-masing spesiesAnthurium yang selanjutnya ciri-ciri tersebut dianalisis dan disusun dalam bentuk matriks jumlah pasangan satuantaxonomi operasional (STO). Fenogram dibentuk dari perhitungan koefisien asosiasi matriks. Berdasarkan fenogramdiperoleh 5 kelompok kekerabatan berturut-turut dari yang terdekat sampai yang terjauh. Spesies yang tergabungdalam kelompok pertama (A. ferriense dan A.macrolobim) dan kedua (A. amnicola Dressler. dan A. andraeanumLinden) termasuk berkerabat dekat di mana indeks kesamaannya masing-masing 65 dan 57,1%. Kelompok 3 (A.halmoreii Croat. dan A. jenmanii Engl.), dan kelompok 4 (A. crystallinum Linden & Andre dan A. andicola Liebm.)merupakan pasangan-pasangan yang berkerabat jauh, yaitu dengan indeks kesamaan 53,7 dan 47,8%. Kelompokkelima (A. superbum Madison dan A. correa Croat) merupakan pasangan yang berkerabat paling jauh dengan indekskesamaan 32,8%. Indeks kesamaan antara kelompok 1 dan kelompok 2 sebesar 29%, kelompok 3 dan kelompok 4sebesar 26%, dan indeks kesamaan kelompok 5 terhadap keempat lainnya adalah sebesar 25,3%.ABSTRACT. The study was very useful to developed new superior variety of Anthurium. The data usedin the study were morphological, vegetative organ, reproductive organ, and pollen parameters. Anthurium relationshipwas defined based on Sokal and Michener method (1958). The research was carried out at both Indonesian Citrusand Subtropical Fruits Research Institute (ICISFRI) Breeding Laboratory and the Biology Laboratory, Malang StateUniversity from June 2005 to January 2006. The general and specific descriptors obtained from the experiment wereanalyzed and arranged in a matrices of STO pair number. Phenogram was created from the calculation of matricescoefficient association. According to the phenogram it was shown that 5 related groups of Anthurium species laid fromnear to far distance based on their relationship. The first group consist of A. ferrience and A. macrolobin, it had a neardistance with group 2 (A. amnicola Dressler. and A. andraeanum Linden) with their similarity index 65 and 57.1%respectively. Group 3 (A. halmoreii Croat and A. jenmanii Engl.), and group 4 (A. crystallinum Linden & Andre andA. andicola Liebm.) had a far distance with similarity index 53.7 and 47.8%. The last group (A. superboom Madisonand A. correa Croat.) was the furthest distance with similarity index 32.8%. The similarity index between first andsecond group, third and fourth group, and the fifth group to others was 29, 26, and 25.3%, respectively.

Abstract

Perbenihan jeruk di Indonesia masih mengandalkan varietas Japansche Citroen (JC) sebagai batang bawah. Pada teknik okulasi, antara batang bawah dan batang atas  mempunyai hubungan timbal balik.  Terkadang  hubungan timbal balik tersebut tidak terjadi kecocokan (inkompatibilitas). Penggunaan interstock diharapkan mampu memecahkan masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompatibilitas tujuh varietas calon interstock dan memilih varietas calon interstock terbaik yang kompatibel pada batang bawah Japansche Citroen (JC). Penelitian  menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 7 perlakuan, dan diulang 4 kali dengan unit penelitian 6 tanaman, sehingga total tanaman adalah 168 tanaman. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2015 sampai dengan April 2015 di Green House Balai Penelitian Tanaman Jeruk dan Buah Subtropika, Tlekung – Kota Batu, Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap varietas memberikan respon pertumbuhan yang berbeda terhadap kecepatan pecah tunas, panjang tunas, diameter tunas, dan jumlah daun. Semua varietas dapat dijadikan calon interstock pada batang bawah Japansche Citroen karena semua varietas kompatibel pada batang bawah ini dan tidak menunjukkan gejala inkompatibilitas. Secara keseluruhan, varietas Citrumello menghasilkan kompatibilitas yang tinggi dilihat dari tingkat keberhasilan tempelan jadi dan tempelan tumbuh berkisar 100%. Selain itu, pada pengamatan kecepatan pecah tunas dan panjang tunas, secara nyata varietas ini berpengaruh lebih baik dibandingkan beberapa varietas yang lainnya.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to address the moral decline among students in the context of globalization by exploring the concept of character education management based on religious culture in special education schools in Cirebon, Indonesia. The focus is on understanding how religious culture can enhance the quality of graduates and provide a solution to the moral challenges faced by the younger generation. Design/methods/approach – A qualitative case study design was employed to investigate the character education management at SLB Bina Mandiri, a special education school in Cirebon. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis involving teachers, principals, and students. Thematic analysis was used to categorize and interpret the data, ensuring validity through triangulation and expert reviews Findings – The study found that effective character education management based on religious culture involves strategic planning, clear organizational roles, consistent implementation, and thorough supervision. Programs such as daily Quran recitation, congregational prayers, and religious observances foster a positive school environment and significantly enhance student discipline, respect, and religious understanding. These initiatives have led to the development of students with strong moral characters and high-quality graduates. Research implications – The findings suggest that other special education schools can adopt this model to improve their character education programs. The study highlights the importance of the principal's role in planning and organizing religious programs to ensure consistency and commitment from all school components. Future research should explore the long-term impacts and applicability of this management model in different educational contexts.
