Abstract

Abstract. This study was carried out to determine the optimum fertility and fertile period using the number of spermatozoa, oviduct condition and timing of insemination of native rooster spermatozoa. Ninety six commercial Isa brown pullets and nine kampung roosters were used in this study in a 3×2×2 factorial arrangement with one bird in a cage constituting a unit. The factor levels were the number of spermatozoa (50, 100 and 150 million/0.1 ml), oviduct condition (hard-shelled eggs and free hard-shelled eggs), and timing of artificial insemination (in the morning, at 7 AM and in the afternoon, at 4 PM).  The results showed that among the treatments there was no significant interaction to fertility and fertile period. Insemination with 50 million sperm number seemed to be the same result with the other 2 treatments. Oviduct condition had a highly significant difference on fertility and fertile period percentage, and timing of insemination did not differ between morning and afternoon.  In conclusion, the only oviduct condition (free hard-shelled eggs) was the best results for insemination in terms of fertility and fertile period of native roosters.  It is recommended that for the maximum fertility and fertile period, hens should be inseminated with 50 million spermatozoa, free of hard-shelled eggs and insemination performed in the morning or in the afternoon. Keywords: timing of artificial insemination, fertility, fertile period, semen dose, oviduct conditionAnimal Production 14(1):32-36, January 2012

Abstract

AI for cattle has been develop in Indonesia in contrast, AI for small ruminants (sheep and goat) are less developed. Its due to the lack of facilities, processing and packaging during storage. This research aims to compare the effectivity and efficiency of two different packaging technique (test tube and straw). Test tube and 0.25 ml mini straw were tested . Semen was obtained from adult PE buck (3 yr) after collection by using  artificial vagina. The fresh semen was then evaluated and diluted 5 folds with 2.9 percent Na-citrate. Diluted semen then packed in test tube and mini straw, and stored in refrigerator (100C) for 7 days. Observations were done everyday on sperm motility, abnormality and percentage of  live sperm. Observation were made at 370C. Observation on fresh ejaculate showed that semen has 6x 109/ml concentration, 90 percent motility, 8 percent abnormality and  95 percent  live sperm. Five folds dilution reduced sperm concentration to 1.2 x 109/ml, but did not change sperm motility, abnormality and percent of live sperm. Sperm was then packed according  to the treatments. Storage in both packaging did significantly reduce  (P<0.01) sperm motility and percent live sperm, but not for sperm abnormality. All sperm stored in test tube were classified death at day 5 storage. However, sperm in the straw were remain live eventhough the percentages was low. It can be concluded that straw has a better result than test tube. Eventhough sperm motility was extremely low, it remains valuable for cervical insemination. Abstract

Fifteen thin tail ewes were used in to study of contribution of maternal serum estrogen concentration this in relation to estrous duration with inducted of PMSG. The first step, all experiment ewes were injected prostaglandin (7.5 mg luprositol per head)  i.m. as much twice of interval day 11 to homogeneity follicle growth phase. In the estrous observed was estrous (700 IU duration, then blood sampling taken out of vena jugulars to analyses of estrogen. The second step, all experiment  ewes were inducted PMSG  (700 IU per head), then in the estrous observed was same as the first step. The result of experiment show that induction of PMSG  influence to  maternal serum estrogen concentration has different significantly (P<0.01)and estrous duration has different significant (P<0.05).Maternal serum estrogen concentration prior and post of  induction of PMSG contributed 25.28 and 57.12 percent, respectively. Abstract

A study on the effect of AI time on the fertility of layer hens was carried out. Semen was collected from eight kampung roosters, with age ranging from 12-18 months.  Completely Randomized Design was used to analyze the data obtained.  Every eight hens (n=8) was inseminated intravaginally at 0-2 hrs, >2-4 hrs, > 4-6 hrs and >6-8 hrs after oviposition.  The results showed that insemination time did not affect  (P>0.05) the percentage of fertility from days 2 to 20.  However, the insemination time affected (P<0.05) the percentage of fertile eggs from days 2 to 9 and it did not affect (P>0.05) the mean duration of the fertile period.  In conclusion, the time of insemination at 0 – 2 hours after oviposition gave the best fertility.  It is recommended that for the best fertility flock inseminations should be performed at a time of 0-2 hours after an egg is laid every 9 days. Abstract

The use of various levels of glycerol as a cryoprotective agent for freezing kampung chicken semen was examined with respect to intravaginal insemination.  There was a significant (P<0.05) effect of various levels of glycerol (4, 8, 12 and 16 %) on motile spermatozoa, but there was no significant effect on fertility.  It was concluded that the use of glycerol for preservation of kampung chicken semen in liquid nitrogen gave satisfactory cryopreservative results on    motility of thawed kampung chicken spermatozoa, but failed to produce fertile eggs. Abstract

Upaya yang perlu dilakukan untuk menjaga kuantitas dan kualitas produk hasil panen Gracilaria verrucosa agar tetap baik diantaranya dengan memberlakukan manajemen budidaya dan pengolahan pascapanen yang baik. Salah satu daerah yang berpotensi dan sudah mulai dikembangkan usaha budidaya Gracilaria verrucosa yaitu lahan tambak desa Mororejo, kecamatan Kaliwungu, Kabupaten Kendal.Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji manajemen budidaya dan pasca panen serta kualitas Gracilaria verrucosa secara polikultur di Mororejo, Kaliwungu, Kendal.Penelitian ini bersifat observasi, aspek yang dikaji adalah faktor biotik, abiotik dan pengelolaan pascapanen serta kualitas Gracilaria verrucosa. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui pengukuran secara kuantitatif  yang dilengkapi dengan wawancara kepada petani. Hasil pengamatan di lapangan menunjukkan manajemen budidaya dan pascapanen Gracilaria verrucosa secara polikultur di Mororejo Kendal sudah cukup baik dari aspek biotik, abiotik dan pascapanennya. Kualitas Gracilaria verrucosa dari Mororejo Kendal untuk kandungan agar (0,054 % - 0,064% dari berat kering total), protein (9,28 % - 11,93 %), lemak (0,12 % - 0,15 %) dan serat (11,44 % – 12, 78 %). Kualitas yang demikian termasuk belum memenuhi standar jika dibandingkan dengan jenis Gracilaria yang ada di lokasi lain.

Abstract

In the show the film in theaters 21 cineplex currently in need of a centralized monitoring system. However, the monitoring systems currently running in theaters only operates locally only areaand also less effective the current system is, because the output can not be configured as needed, therefore needed an alternative solution to address all of these problems, One alternative solution is to utilize the raspberry pi as ip camera. Raspberry pi is a mini PC that has a lot of advantages which are as intelligent IP cameras in because the raspberry pi using an operating system or so-called mini debian Raspbian,thus allowing raspberry pi can be configured to suit your needs and can be integrated with the NOC (Network Operations Center) which is currently still under construction.Thus 21cineplex theater company has been getting an alternative solution to the above problems.

Abstract

Abstract The community service activity aims to optimize the potential of teachers in making presentations through collaboration. Meaningful collaboration media presentations that will be used are done together. This makes the presentation made better, more complete, and has an attractive appearance. SMK Catur Global is a school that is adaptive to the development of learning technology. One of them is the technology of making teaching media in the form of presentations. Prezi application is used to make presentations that allow collaboration between teachers to make presentation material. The implementation method begins with (1) Introduction: create virtual classes using google classroom. Then upload the application and material and register all training participants in the classroom. The application was installed before the training. Stage (2) Implementation: We explained the importance of innovation in making presentations and the importance of teamwork, participants were divided into small groups according to their fields, and demonstrated their use using computers. Each group chooses one teaching material to make their presentation. Each group made a presentation of the teaching material. Each group can discuss with the speaker if experiencing difficulties. Stage (3) Evaluation: each group presents their work and uploads it to the virtual class. The speaker gave input so that the presentations made could be better. The results of this training train teamwork in producing the best work, train creativity in using computer application technology to improve learning outcomes, make teaching effective, make it easier to see material in one main picture. Kolaborasi bermakna media presentasi yang akan digunakan dikerjakan secara bersama-sama. Hal ini menjadikan hasil presentasi yang dibuat lebih baik, lengkap, dan memiliki tampilan yang menarik. SMK Catur Global merupakan sekolah yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah terhadap teknologi pembuatan media ajar berupa presentasi. Aplikasi Prezi digunakan untuk membuat presentasi yang memungkinkan terjadi kolaborasi antar guru dalam membuat materi presentasi. Metode pelaksanaan diawali dengan (1) Pendahuluan: membuat kelas maya menggunakan google classroom. Kemudian mengunggah aplikasi dan materi serta mendaftarkan semua peserta pelatihan pada classroom tersebut. Aplikasi sudah diinstal sebelum pelaksanaan pelatihan. Tahap (2) Pelaksanaan: Kami menjelaskan pentingnya inovasi dalam pembuatan presentasi dan pentingnya kerjasama tim, peserta dibagi dalam kelompok kecil sesuai bidangnya, dan mendemonstrasikan penggunaanya menggunakan komputer. Setiap kelompok memilih satu materi ajar untuk dibuatkan presentasinya. Setiap kelompok membuat presentasi dari materi ajar tersebut. Setiap kelompok dapat berdiskusi dengan pemateri jika mengalami kesulitan. Tahap (3) Evaluasi: setiap kelompok mempresentasikan karyanya dan mengunggah pada kelas maya. Pemateri memberi masukan agar presentasi yang dibuat dapat lebih baik. Hasil pelatihan ini melatih kerja sama tim dalam menghasilkan karya terbaik, melatih kreatifitas dalam penggunakan teknologi aplikasi komputer untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, mengefektifkan cara mengajar, memudahkan melihat materi dalam satu gambar utama. Abstract

Abstract Nowadays, information is a basic need for everyone, but the information obtained is not guaranteed right. One solution to data security techniques is cryptography. With cryptography, messages or documents are safe and cannot be read by unauthorized parties. This article discusses about the implementation of the Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) Algorithm software in the login functiion. This function has two menus, namely login and registration. The purpose of this paper is to encrypt password data that goes into the database, so that data is protected from abuse by irresponsible parties. The encryption process occurs when a user saves data during registration. The workings of the encryption process are as follows, first take the recipient's public key, e, and modulus n, then declare plaintext m to be blocks m1, m2, m3, ... so that each block represents the value in interval [0, n- 1], then each block m, encrypted into ci blocks with formulas (ci = mic mod n). Each ciphertext c block is decrypted back into a mi block with a formula (mi = cid mod n). Keywords: Enkripsi, Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA), Plainteks, Cipherteks Abstrak Saat ini informasi menjadi kebutuhan pokok setiap orang, namun informasi yang didapatkan belum tentu terjamin. Salah satu solusi teknik pengamanan data adalah menggunakan kriptografi. Dengan kriptografi, pesan atau dokumen aman dan tidak dapat dibaca oleh pihak yang tidak berhak Artikel ini akan membahas implementasi perangkat lunak Algoritma Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) dalam fungsi login. Fungsi ini memiliki dua menu yaitu login dan registrasi. Proses enkripsi terjadi pada saat user menyimpan data ketika registrasi. Tujuan dari penulisan ini untuk mengenkripsi data password yang masuk ke dalam database, sehingga data terhindar dari penyalahgunaan oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Cara kerja proses enkripsi sebagai berikut, pertama mengambil kunci publik penerima pesan, e, dan modulus n, lalu nyatakan plainteks m menjadi blok-blok m1, m2, m3,…, sedemikian sehingga setiap blok merepresentasikan nilai di dalam selang [0, n-1], kemudian setiap blok m, dienkripsi menjadi blok ci dengan rumus (ci=mic mod n). Setiap blok cipherteks c, didekripsi kembali menjadi blok mi dengan rumus (mi=cid mod n). Kata kunci: Enkripsi, Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA), Plainteks, Cipherteks
