Abstract

Literature is a work created by someone who will be published later, so the work he has made can be enjoyed by many people. A literary work written by an author whose purpose to read by others, in a literary work that has been created must have to contain the values that can be taken by readers. Among the many literary works we have read that we find interesting are the poems of "Keluarga Port" by WS Rendra. Poetry is a literary work that reveals the thoughts and feelings of a poet to the problems that exist in himself and his environment. It can also be studied from themes such as romance, religion, and feelings. Knowing that this article will analyze the nilaireligius on the "Portrait of the Family" portrait by WS Rendra. The focus of this article's discussion is the religious aspect that appears in the entire poem by using the critical methodology proposed by Teun A. van Dijk, by paying more attention to aspects of language, discourse, and communication process. This "Family Portrait" poem can give rise to an interpretation that will produce interpretations in understanding the overall religious meaning.

Abstract

Regarding moral values in the film titled "Negeri 5 Menara" by director Affandi Abdul Rachman adapted from the novel by A. Fuadi. the researcher analyzes the moral values told in the film. This research can be useful for readers because there are many messages we can take about moral values in the film. The research method used is to use the library research method to analyze the film. The results of research that has been carried out on the film are moral values including surrender or trust, discipline, hard work, responsibility, mutual respect, help and be grateful. Through the research process, the researcher seeks to integrate good moral values so that the objectives to be conveyed can be understood by the reader. Thus it can be concluded that the film titled "Negeri 5 Menara" is suitable to be a good spectacle for all people. Be it ordinary people, or intellectuals. Parents or teenagers can enjoy it.

Abstract

The research based on the religion value in the movie of “Cinta Laki-laki Biasa” director by Guntur Soeharjanto that was produced by Starvision adapted from Asma Nadia novel. The writers analyzed the religion value from each part that was told in thet movie. This research aimed to describe the religion value in that movie. The reason why the writers took “Cinta Laki-laki Biasa”, because that movie had a lot of religion values. Beside that, every dialog contained the speech where the viewers can catch the value. This research was very important and useful for the reader, because many moral messages can we get. The writers used bilbliography research as the research method. The result from the research was the patience feeling, simplicity, alwasy pray to God even though have a lot of businesses, have a good attitude, helping each other, respecting parent, sincere, and never give up. The religion value can be applied in human daily life.

Abstract

This research, entitled Analysis of the Main Character in the Novel "Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk" by Ahmad Tohari, was motivated by the emergence of social criticism. This study aims to analyze the main character in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. The life in a dukuh is different from other villages which affects the character of its inhabitants. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Data retrieval is done by reading, analyzing and marking the text or sentence included in the character and characterization so that it is easy to study, with this study the reader can take the good side of several figures to be implemented in social life, namely someone who is brave, compassionate, cares about others. . Even though living in a dukuh which is shrouded in poverty and ignorance, it is not as bad as others see it, although according to people their life is lacking but it does not make them complain all the time. The result of this research is that there are social conflicts that arise in the plot related to the characters and characterizations in the novel. Ahmad Tohari, as the author of the novel, describes the character of each character well and precisely so that readers can easily understand the plot and convey it successfully to the reader.Keywords: Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Figures, Characterizations.

Abstract

This research applies behavioristic learning theory in learning to write short stories with literary engineering. In this research it is expected that students will be skilled in writing short stories through literary engineering to foster imagination and ideas that will be written by students in short story writing activities. This research is based on the problem that a student has difficulty writing something that he feels and thinks in written form. Most students express their experiences more easily by speaking in terms of them, students rarely pour into written form. Another problem related to student creativity in writing activities is that many students who complain when getting a writing assignment from the lecturer are very annoying. This is because students do not know where to start and what to do in writing activities. Feelings of fear have become a scourge for students now in writing activities. This research method uses quantitative methods with experiments, in which researchers will provide implementation of the behavioristic approach in learning to write short stories with literary engineering. The results of this study indicate that students are more skilled at writing with literary engineering, where literary works in the form of poetry are changed by students in the form of short stories. As for the stages of each short story based on the experience of students both directly and indirectly into the short story. The learning process was very enjoyable and the students felt honed their talents and interests through this activity. An overflowing of feelings, hopes, and ideals is reflected in the writing of the students so that it helps the lecturer to hone the interests and talents of the students.

Abstract

The utterances that occur in every dialogue in the novel often have various purposes or intentions that are certainly not the same as the real one. Likewise, conversations in novels cannot be separated from the power of imagination built by the author which makes the reader have to analyze the hidden meanings in each story. Thus, it can be said that the speech in every dialogue of the novel has an implied purpose. This research is an implicature study through the use of pragmatic studies which aims to describe the types of implicatures in the novel "Dear Nathan" by Erisca Febriani. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this research is the novel "Dear Nathan" by Erisca Febriani. Data is collected by analyzing, reviewing, and recording documents (content analysis), then processing the data objectively regarding the meaning and types of implicatures. The results obtained from this study include the types of implicatures in the novel "Dear Nathan" by Erisca Febriani, namely directive, representative, commissive, expressive, and declaration speech acts.

Abstract

Literary work is an essay that evokes feelings, thoughts, and experiences that are poured into writing. Novel is one of the literary works created by the author's imagination which is written in a narrative and contains stories about the problems of one's life. Every novel has intrinsic elements, such as theme and message. These elements can attract the interest of readers who come from various circles. The analysis of the novel in this study aims to describe the themes and messages contained in the novel "Mariposa" by Luluk Hidayatul Fajriyah. This research method is descriptive qualitative method. The data used, namely the theme and mandate in the novel "Mariposa". The data source used is the novel "Mariposa" by Luluk Hidayatul Fajriyah. The steps taken in analyzing the data are reading the novel "Mariposa", collecting data, analyzing the data that has been collected, selecting and sorting the data that has been analyzed, and describing the themes and messages in the novel. Based on the research results, the novel "Mariposa" by Luluk Hidayatul Fajriyah has two types of themes and two types of messages. The two types of themes are major themes about the struggle of love and minor themes about friendship. The mandate contained in the novel "Mariposa", namely the explicit mandate and the implicit mandate.

Abstract

Suatu proses belajar untuk mengetahui, memahami, dan mengimplementasikan merupakan serangkaian proses dalam sebuah pembelajaran. Dalam tahapan ini memerlukan motivasi dan daya kuat untuk ingin mencari tahu dan menjadi tahu, sehingga pembelajaran merupakan proses yang menyenangkan. Ketercapaian hasil pembelajaran bergantung erat dengan pendekatan yang digunakan oleh seorang pengajar. Bagaimana kita bisa membuat pembelajar senang jika kita tidak bisa mengikat makna dan menyentuh hati seorang pembelajar. Untuk itu pendekatan behavior sangat cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran sastra. Di mana salah satu tujuan belajar sastra adalah untuk mengubah perilaku pembelajar ke arah yang lebih baik dengan menekankan pada rasa peka, empati, cinta, menghargai dan mebiasakan perilaku budaya nilai terhadap sesama. Hal ini diperoleh dari membaca karya sastra yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan pembelajaran sastra dengan pendekatan behavior berbasis budaya nilai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Di mana peneliti melakukan analisis dari pelbagai kajian pustaka dan merancang sebuah pembelajaran sastra dengan pendekatan behavior berbasis budaya nilai sehingga ancangan model itu dapat dideskripsikan sejelas mungkin setiap tahapannya. Hasil dari angket yang disebarkan oleh peneliti dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran dapat berjalan dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, di mana salah satu tujuannya adalah dapat mengubah perilaku siswa dan memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran sastra.Terpenting adalah dalam pembelajaran terbiasa menilai positif perilaku temannya dan ini yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini.Kata kunci: pembelajaran sastra, pendekatan behavior, berbasis budaya nilai
