Abstract

Abstract. This article aimed to study urban missiology praxis which was highlighted from the church's role as gospel deliverer point of view. This topic was conducted by a literature study approach. The results of the study revealed that urban mission services could run effectively if they paid attention to all the complexities of problems that occured in urban areas. Social problems such as unemployment, poverty, crime, injustice, hunger, environmental damage, and other social problems must be the main consideration in missions. Mission to urban communities means that the church, has a positive impact to the urban communities.Abstrak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji praksis misiologi perkotaan yang disorot dari sudut peran gereja sebagai pembawa dan pemberita Injil. Untuk mengkaji topik ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa pelayanan misi perkotaan dapat berjalan dengan efektif apabila memperhatikan segala kompleksitas permasalahan yang terjadi di perkotaan. Masalah-masalah sosial seperti, pengangguran, kemiskinan, kejahatan, ketidakadilan, kelaparan, kerusakan lingkungan, serta masalah-masalah sosial lainnya yang terjadi di perkotaan harus menjadi pertimbangan utama dalam misi di perkotaan. Misi terhadap masyarakat perkotaan adalah dalam pengertian gereja memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat perkotaan.

Abstract

This study aims to see the picture of religiosity of GKE Sinta Kapuas congregation during the Covid-19 Pandemic based on Matthew Text 22:37-40. The method used is qualitative with techniques of collecting observation data, interviews, and documentation. The source of the informant is the deacon, the assembly, and the congregation of GKE Sinta Kapuas as many as 8 people. The results showed that the religiosity of the congregation of GKE Sinta Kapuas during the covid-19 pandemic was in the good category. This appears in the church's commitment to obey and love God with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his mind. Then, the church's commitment to remain faithful to the belief in God's provider, by having a commitment in reading the Bible, living in prayer, worship, giving thanksgiving, living to do God's will and living in holiness, faithful in ministry, visiting people who are experiencing difficulties, and participating in service for others affected by the covid-19 pandemic. As for the obstacles in the implementation of religiosity of GKE Sinta Kapuas congregation during the covid-19 pandemic in the form of decreased intensity of the congregation in reading the Bible. This is due to the conditions and demands of the daily needs of the congregation that must be gardened and as a result of the economic impact that hit the congregation due to the covid-19 pandemic. Pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan ibadah tatap muka di jemaat GKE Sinta Kapuas terbatas. Kondisi ini berdampak pada religiusitas jemaat karena kurangnya ibadah bersama di gereja. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat gambaran religiusitas jemaat GKE Sinta Kapuas di masa Pandemi Covid-19 berdasarkan Teks Matius 22:37-40. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber informan adalah diaken, majelis, dan jemaat GKE Sinta Kapuas sebanyak 8 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas jemaat GKE Sinta Kapuas di masa pandemi covid-19 dalam kategori baik. Hal ini nampak pada komitmen jemaat untuk taat dan mengasihi Tuhan yang diimplementasikan dengan tekun membaca Alkitab, hidup di dalam doa, ibadah, memberi persembahan syukur untuk gereja, hidup melakukan kehendak Tuhan dan hidup dalam kekudusan, setia dalam pelayanan, mengunjungi orang-orang yang mengalami kesulitan, serta berpartisipasi dalam pelayanan bagi sesama yang terdampak pandemi covid-19. Adapun kendala dalam implementasi religiusitas jemaat GKE Sinta Kapuas di masa pandemi covid-19 berupa menurunnya intensitas jemaat dalam membaca Alkitab. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kondisi dan tuntutan kebutuhan sehari-hari jemaat yang harus berkebun dan sebagai akibat dari dampak ekonomi yang melanda jemaat karena pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

Corinth's context of having the gifts of the Spirit did not necessarily make the city without problems. The existence of the gifts of the Spirit is not denied by some previous authors that the Corinthians had all the gift. However, the researcher sees that it creates new problems when interpreted politically for the sake of certain interests or even oneself.  Purpose of this study is to explore the hermeneutics of the text and the social conditions of the gifts of the Spirit in Corinthians, especially the phenomenon of the Corinthians. Based on this qualitative research, the researcher used literature review techniques from primary sources and secondary sources. The gifts of the Spirit conveyed by Paul are a sign that awareness of them is important. However, prioritizing humanity remains a priority scale for covenant people or the people of God. The basis and conclusion of the gifts of the Spirit is something common without labels. They are complementary to each other as the body of Christ without any judgment on what comes first in another. AbstrakKonteks jemaat Korintus sebagai pengguna dan penerima manfaat karunia-karunia Roh, tidak serta merta membuat kota tersebut menuju pada nir-masalah. Keberadaan karunia-karunia Roh tersebut tidak disangkal oleh beberapa peneliti sebelumnya bahwa jemaat Korintus memiliki keseluruhan karunia. Namun, peneliti melihat justru menimbulkan masalah baru ketika ditafsir politis demi kepentingan tertentu atau bahkan diri sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menelusuri hermeneutika teks dan kondisi sosial atas karunia-karunia Roh dalam teks Korintus, khususnya fenomena jemaat Korintus. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan teknik penelusuran literatur review dari sumber primer dan sekunder. Karunia-karunia Roh yang disampaikan oleh Paulus, menjadi sebuah penanda bahwa kesadaran atas-nya menjadi penting. Namun, mengutamakan kemanusiaan tetap menjadi skala prioritas bagi umat perjanjian atau umat Allah. Pendasaran sekaligus kesimpulan atas karunia-karunia Roh merupakan sesuatu yang biasa tanpa label. Ia merupakan tubuh Kristus yang saling melengkapi tanpa adanya penilaian atas apa yang menjadi terutama di antara yang lain.

Abstract

The issue of eating meat offered to idols from time to time has not been completely discussed. There are still problems and conflicts among Christians regarding eating meat offered to idols or traditional rituals. This study aims to analyze the problem of eating meat and traditional rituals in terms of the text of 1 Corinthians 8:1-13. The literature method is the approach used in this study. The results revealed that meat that had been offered as a traditional ritual offering from the light of 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 confirmed that wise living and conscience were key to action. Eating meat used in traditional rituals should consider aspects of conscience and be an example in life, so as to avoid stumbling blocks.
