Abstract

The research objectives are 1) to find out the strategies of foster parents in motivating students used who arre lazy to study 2) to find out what obstacles are experienced by foster parents in motivating students who are lazy to study, and 3) to find out the impact of giving motivation to students who are lazy to study. this research was carried out at the Aisyiyah II women’s orphanage, Surakarta. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research. Two sources of data are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is the subject that is used is documentation, the identity of the orphanage children, and archives about the orphanage children which are obtained directly. Research data collection is using several techniques such as intervierws, observation, and documentation. The observation technique used is directly with the subject. Then it was followed by interview techniques with orphanage children and foster parents, and documentation. The data validity technique source triangulation, and technical triangulation. Data analysis methods are 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, and 4) conclution. Based on the data analysis, it was concluted that in the Aisyiyah II Surakarta orphanage there were 25 children, while there were 3 children who were lazy to study and were motivated by foster parents through giving attention, appreciation, refreshing, rewards, and praise. Though the provition of motivational strategies by foster parents, the orphanage children began to increase their learning motivation. The conclution of this study showed that giving motivation was succesful and increased children’s learning motivation. Keywords : Foster Parents Strategy, Motivating Childrern Who Are Lazy To Learn

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan LKPD berbasis etnomatematika pada materi pecahan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas III SDN 03 Kaling Kecamatan Tasikmadu Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Experimental Design dengan menggunakan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas III SDN 03 Kaling, sampel yang digunakan adalah peserta didik kelas III SDN 03 Kaling yang berjumlah 30 Peserta didik terdiri dari 17 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Uji coba instrument dengan menggunakan uji validitas, uji validitas isi, dan uji reliabilitas.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-test diperoleh thitung ttabel atau 132.881 2.045 dan Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 0.05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data N-gain_persen 77.6% dikategorikan (Efektif) 76. Jadi disimpulkan penggunaan LKPD Berbasis Etnomatematika pada materi pecahan efektif terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas III SDN 03 Kaling Kecamatan Tasikmadu Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the Discovery learning model on students' learning achievement in Thematic Learning for Grade V students of SD Negeri 01 Nangsri Kebakkramat Karanganyar Academic Year 2022/2023 This research was conducted at SD Negeri 01 Nangsri Kebakkramat, Karanganyar. This study is a quantitative research with the Discovery learning model. The population of this study consisted of all Grade V students of SD Negeri 01 Nangsri Kebakkramat Karanganyar, totaling 27 students, and they were used as the research sample. Therefore, this study employed saturated sampling (using all members of the population). The data collection technique used in this study was the experimental method with pretest and posttest written tests to determine the influence of the Discovery learning model on students' learning achievement in Thematic Learning for Grade V. The data collection techniques included observation to gather information about the school, interviews with the school principal and class teachers to determine the learning conditions, tests to determine the limit of students' achievement, and documentation to obtain student data. The data analysis technique used the paired sample t- test.Based on the analysis of pretest and posttest scores, the average posttest score of the students showed a significant improvement, with an average pretest score of 64.00 and an average posttest score of 84.30. The data analysis using the paired sample t-test formula revealed a t-value of 20.030 and a significance value of 0.000. The t-value was then compared with the t-table value with degrees of freedom (df) = (N-1) = (27-1) = (26) at a 5% significance level, which is 2.056. Therefore, the t-value (20.030) > t-table value (2.056), and the sig value (0.000) < 0.005. Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that the Discovery learning model has an influence on students' learning achievement in Thematic Learning for Grade V of SD Negeri 01 Nangsri Kebakkramat, Karanganyar, in the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

The purpose of the community service activity with the theme Training in skills to maintain mental health through psychoeducational strategies for adolescents at the Putri Aisyiah II Kadipiro Orphanage, Banjarsari, Surakarta is to equip knowledge and skills to maintain mental health so that they live happily. The target of this community service activity is the realization of mental health skills guidelines that can be used by young members of the Kadipiro Aisyiah II Putri Orphanage, Banjarsari, Surakarta, to realize and maintain a healthy mentality so that they become productive members of society. This community service is carried out by applying the Brenstorming method, Lecture method, Question and answer method, Exercise method and Case studies so that the material is easily accepted by members. The activity was carried out for one month with a frequency of once a week, the place of implementation was at the Kadipiro Aisyiah II Putri Orphanage, Banjarsari, Surakarta. Through this activity the members have the knowledge and skills to maintain mental health, so that they can strengthen the young girls who are members of the orphanage and ultimately the young women become strong and productive members of society. The output of this community service is the publication of scientific articles in journals with ISSN.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of designing multimedia-based learning media genially on Jaringan computer dan Internet material in class 7A SMPN 18 in 2023, and to determine the effectiveness of designing multimedia-based learning media genially to attract students' interest in learning Informatics. The research method used was R&D with the research procedure using the ADD model from Dick and Carey. The ADD procedure consisted of Analysis, Design, and Development. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, questionnaires and documentation, as well as Blackbox Testing. Product feasibility Validation was carried out by Expert Judgement which was analyzed using a Likert Scale. This results of this study ware the eligibility validation of the informatics teacher stating that the Adventure Missions game had a feasibility level 96% with verydecent criteria. In addition, this study received positive responses from students in class 7A at SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta, where the result was 95,1% with feasible criteria. Therefore, this Adventure Missions game could be said to be effective in attracting students' interest in learning Informatics.
