Abstract

Covid-19 has brought comprehensive changes in the field of education such as conducting learning with a distance learning system. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the teacher's view of learning needs and explore the factors that become obstacles in online thematic learning in elementary schools. This type of research is a mixed methods research, namely qualitative and quantitative research designs. The subject of this research is to take a sample of teachers in 20 elementary schools with a population of 200 teachers with a sample of 20 teachers. The sampling method used simple random sampling. Quantitative data in the form of samples based on questionnaire scores from 5th grade teachers with a sample of 20 teachers from 20 elementary schools. Data analysis is used to draw final conclusions on the results of the data, both from interviews, observations, and documents using interactive analysis techniques, namely data collection, data condensation, data display (data display) and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the thematic learning system had not been maximally implemented in schools; it is necessary to get used to implementing an android-based system which includes zoom for face-to-face online meetings, learning materials and evaluation of learning, so that teachers can explore the learning system used during the Covid-19 pandemic. In conclusion, the learning system in thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic still needs to be developed and explored because there are obstacles in the implementation of the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract. The background of this study aims to make students have the character of caring for the environment and Clean and Healthy Life Behavior so as to create a conducive environment through healthy school programs. This study employs the descriptive qualitative case study research method. School principals, sports teachers, UKS administrators, and minor medical students were the study's participants. Interviews, observation, and documentation are used to collect data. The source and technique triangulation technique is used in the validation test. The data analysis technique using interactive has three stages: data reduction, data display, and making conclusions. The UKS Trias, that include health education, health services, and environmental development, guide the findings of the research on the implementation of the healthy school program. Communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure are used in the implementation of the healthy school program. Infrastructure is complete, there is solid support, there is financial assistance, and there is assistance for replanting land. According to the school's eco friendly policy, namely: routine habits, spontaneous actions, exemplary, and conditioning, the results of the research on the implementation of the healthy school program in building the character of caring for the environment were successful.

Abstract

Education for blind children begins at the age of childhood and elementary school. At that age, blind children will begin to be introduced to fruits. However, in general, teachers in special schools will introduce fruits to blind children using only real fruit. This is considered ineffective, because the fruit recognition learning process only relied on the ability of the teacher that causes blind students to get bored quickly and the material presented by the teachers is not well received. Therefore we need a 3D fruit learning media designed according to the characteristics of blind children. The purpose of making Fruit Audio Aroma media is as a solution to overcome problems in the learning process of the blind children with disabilities related to fruit material. The method used is the observation method. The result of this study indicated that the Fruit Audio Aroma media provides maximum usability with easy and practical use, according to the needs of the blind through aroma, braille, texture, QR code and audio features that can be operated smoothly. Thus, this media is effective for increasing the sensitivity of the sense of touch, hearing and smell in blind children.
