Abstract

The assessment of technological competitiveness can be carried out at the level of a stage of transformation on a warship. With the dynamics of defence and security threats to the Indonesian state, both symmetrical and asymmetrical, warship technology must continue to improve combat capability and professionalism of human resources in accordance with technological developments towards the industrial revolution 4.0, in order to have a high level of competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the strengths and weaknesses of warship performance through the assessment of technological capabilities. The research result, at the level of technological capability and the existing gap of fourth components, where the current level of capability on warships W has a gap of the technological development that is farthest away with countries Y and Z is the development of the level of technological capability on technical devices and followed by developments the level of technological capability in human resources (soldiers). The benefits of the research are expected to be used as material for consideration by planners and decision makers in integrating technological considerations into the planning of warship development in the modern era.Keywords: Technology Capability Assessment, Warship Technology, Techometrics

Abstract

The achievement of the vision, mission and also the target of a military institution is strongly influenced by soldiers or personnel who are human resource capital. In terms of human resources or personnel, of course, they have work motivation that must be maintained in order to survive in military organizations. Potential human resources and in accordance with their field of work will support the achievement of the organization if they are utilized optimally. This study aims to find answers about how the influence of organizational culture (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) on the work motivation of military personnel (Y) with work facilities as moderating variables (X3). The scientific method used in this research is survey research using a quantitative approach, the data analysis carried out in this study by analysis using statistical model tests. The results obtained in this study are (a) Organizational culture (X1) has a significant effect on work motivation (Y) in Institutions or Military Organizations, (b) Job satisfaction (X2) has a significant effect on work motivation (Y) in Institutions or Organizations. Military, and (c) Work facilities (X3) have a significant effect on work motivation (Y) in Military Institutions or Organizations. Based on the test results, it is also known that there is an effect of these variables after interacting with the work facilities variable as a moderating variable, the results obtained that have a significant effect on the work motivation of personnel. So it can be concluded that work facilities moderate organizational culture and job satisfaction so that it affects the increase in work motivation in military institutions or organizations.

Abstract

The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world, where itsgeographical constellation which is in a cross-world position places the sea area of national jurisdiction verystrategically for both Indonesia and for other countries. The State Defense Policy of 2020 set by the Minister ofDefense of the Republic of Indonesia formulates that the implementation of National Defense is carried out in adirected, measurable, transparent and accountable manner, demanding the establishment of a Universal People'sSecurity Defense System (Sishankamrata) through efforts to manage national resources which include all humanresources, human resources and human resources. natural resources, artificial resources and nationalinfrastructure throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia as a defense unit in overcoming threats.Composite Company capabilities can still be developed by increasing the strength and capabilities of compositecompanies and optimizing the degree pattern. The Composite Company development strategy can be started byfirst studying the potential threats that may be in the future and analyzing the condition of the Composite Companywhich must be improved to create national maritime security. Based on these problems, this research offers astrategy for developing a composite company in maintaining national marine security that takes into accountpotential threats in the future. In this study, the authors analyzed the problem using the SWOT method. TheSWOT method is used to formulate the main strategy for the development of Composite Companies in the faceof national maritime security threats, and used to analyze the implementation of the Composite Company developmentstrategy in the face of national maritime security threats. The AHP method is used for decision-making involvinga number of criteria and alternatives selected based on consideration of all related criteria are used to determinethe priority scale of the strategy to be implemented for the advancement of the Navy.Keywords: Strategy, Composite Company, SWOT Method, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method
