Abstract

The purpose of this research to find out how about the implementation promotion strategy (advertising, personal selling, public relation, sales promotion, and direct marketing) for achieve the room and to find out how the consumes’ interest about (liking, preference, and conviction)The population of this research is the consumers of Hotel Mutiara Merdeka Pekanbaru. The number of this samples are 100 people. It is taken by slovin’s formula. The search procedure of respondents performed by accidental – sampling. The research data is primary data whom uses questionnaires as the research instrument. The data analysis of the research is statistical analysis whom supported by SPSS program.Based on the result of this research that conducted by the researcher, she takes a conclusion that promotion effect (advertising, personal selling, public relation, sales promotion and direct marketing) towards consumer’s interest (liking, preference, and conviction) in Hotel Mutiara Merdeka Pekanbaru are agree, but some of the respondents answered disagree. Some of them disagree with public relation such as sponsoring, populist activities, and over coming problem that known by media, and some of the others disagree with consumers interest such as preference (red: discount or bonus )Key word : Promotion (Advertising, Personal Selling, Public Relation, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing) and Consumer’s Interest (Liking, Preference, Conviction)

Abstract

Background: Direct Observed Treatment Short Course (DOTS) strategy has been regarded as successfulto control Tuberculosis. However decreasing rates of TB prevalence and mortality were not fastenough to attain half of the prevalence and mortality in 2015 as targeted by Millenium DevelopmentGoals (MDGs). There is a need for continuity and expansion of DOTS strategy implementation. Thisstudi aimed to evaluate the attainment of TB control program with DOTS strategy and determinefactors affecting it.Methods: This was a quantitative and qualitative evaluation study using a post-hoc cross-sectionaldesign. The study was conducted in Sukoharjo and Boyolali districts, and Surakarta municipality, CentralJava, carried out from October 2009 to February 2010. The target population included TB implementingworkers, policymakers, TB health program planners, TB patients and their family, and other stakeholders.Results: There is disparity in the target attainment of TB control program at district/ municipalities aswell as subdistrict levels. Some districts and subditricts have not reached the expected quantitativeand qualitatives levels of outcome. Case finding and detection rate were subtstandard 70%, atmunicipality/ district level. This problem was due to level of compliance among doctors, spesialists,and private hospitals was still low to implement standard procedures of diagnosis, treatment, reportingand recording of TB patients. The drop-out rate and ineffective drug administration supervision affectedthe cure rate. Financial support for the TB control program from the local government and locallegislatives was lacking.Conclusion: TB control program with DOTS has been implemented but with varying level ofachievement. System strengthening and participation of all health providers are encuraged byestablishing external network.Keywords: evaluation, tuberculosis control, DOTS strategy

Abstract

Background : The level of formal education an active family planning acceptors are factors that may influence the attitudes and behavior of people to use an independence  KB. By knowing the factors that affect a persons use of family planning will be able to improve the coverage of family planning more widely. This study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between the level of formal education with self-reliance active family planning acceptors of family planning in Subdistrict Sukoharjo District Sukoharjo. Methods : This study is observational with case control conducted in October-November 2012 on 100 samples of family planning acceptors active in Subdistrict Sukoharjo District Sukoharjo. Sampling technique in this study using current Simple Random Sampling. Taking data from the sample using a questionnaire containing variable levels of education and independence KB. Data analysis using odd ratio with univariate and bivariate analyzes. Results : Statistical test result value of odd ratio test are OR = 10,120, 95% CI = 3,062 – 33,450, p = 0,000. Value of p <0.05 means that the significance level of 5% or 95% level of confidence is significant relationship between the two variables. Conclusion : From this study it was concluded that the higher levels of formal education an active family planning acceptors, the greater the tendency to carry out family planning independently. Abstract

Background : Based the data of Central Java Provincial Health Office 2006, see that the most choice of contraceptive method is injectable . Health behaviors included the selection of contraceptive is influenced by three factors: predisposing, enabling, and driving. Researcher aims to determine the relationship of the characteristics of new family planning acceptors and active in particular the level of knowledge, level of education and employment with the selection of injectable contraceptive method. Methods : Samples: new and active acceptors of family planning in Gajahan Health Centre, Surakarta. The number of sample: 86 persons. Sampling technique: simple random sampling. The research instrument: questionnaire. Then the data was analyzed using  chi square test. Results: The statisctical test of level of knowledge showed that (X2) of 6.880 with a significance (p) of 0.009. Then, the statistical result test of level of formal education showed that (X2) of 2.140 with significance (p) of 0.144. The statistical test of the employment status showed that (X2) of 6.351 with a significance (p) of 0.012. Results of statistical tests of regression analysis can be seen that the level of knowledge is the most dominant factor with value of statistical test (wald) is 4.084 and the greatest significance (p) is the smallest 0.043. Conclusions : 1) There is a correlation between the level of knowledge with the election of injection method 2) There was no relationship between the level of education with the election of injection method 3) There is a relationship between employment status with the election of injection method 4) The level of knowledge is the most dominant factor associated with the selection of injectable contraceptives. Abstract

Background: Jamkesmas is a health care insurance program for the poor and unwealthy using social health insurance principal. The purpose is increasing the access and the quantity of health care toward whole of the poor and unwealthy in order to achieve optimal level of public health effectively and efficiently. Preliminary research indicates there is a Correlation between The understanding of Jamkesmas with the use of Jamkesmas Program. The understanding of Jamkesmas is holding potensial role in influencing health care seeking behavior of Jamkesmas participants. Lack of the understanding on rights and obligations, and procedures as Jamkesmas participants in terms of health care impedes health care seeking behavior in Puskesmas (health centers) and hospitals. This study aims to identify and analyze the Correlation between Jamkesmas participants understanding of rights and obligations and service procedures with the level of utilization of Jamkesmas health care at Puskesmas Sedayu I Bantul regency. Methods: This research is an observational analytic research by cross-sectional approach. A total of 100 subjects were selected by purposivesampling is a participant Jamkesmas who check-up their health in Puskesmas Sedayu I Bantul Regency who met the inclusion criteria. Data were collected by direct interview using a questionnaire to patients. That research data were analyzed using Chi Square and processed with the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 21:00 for Windows. Results: There is a statistically significant Correlation between the understanding of rights and obligations of Jamkesmas with Jamkesmas Health Care Utilization and there is no significant Correlation between the Understanding of Jamkesmas Health Care Procedure with Jamkesmas Health Care Utilization Conclusions:There is a statistically significant Correlation between the understanding of rights and obligations of Jamkesmas with Jamkesmas Health Care Utilization and there is no significant Correlation between the Understanding of Jamkesmas Health Care Procedure with Jamkesmas Health Care Utilization. Abstract

Background : Jamkesmas (Public Health Insurance) patients as the customers who used health care service in puskesmas need a high-quality health service to cure the diseases they suffer from and to generate satisfaction with the health service they receive from the personnel of puskesmas. As we know, puskesmas is one form of comprehensive health service organizations encompassing health promotion, prevention, curing and recovery aspects for all people so that the society will get a high-quality and affordable health service. The preliminary study shows that there is a relationship between health service quality and the satisfaction level of Jamkesmas (Public Health Insurance) patient. The higher the quality of health service, the higher is the satisfaction level received by the Jamkesmas patient. The bad health service given by the health service provider will decrease the satisfaction level of Jamkesmas patients. This study aimed to find out and to analyze the relationship between health service quality and the satisfaction level of Jamkesmas patients in Puskesmas Sedayu I of Bantul Regency. Methods : This study was an analytical observational research with cross-sectional approach. Thirty subjects of research selected using purposive quota sampling technique were the participants of Jamkesmas who had had them examined in Puskesmas Sedayu I of Bantul Regency and met the inclusion criteria. The data collection was carried out through direct interview with the patients using questionnaire. The data of research was analyzed using Chi Square test. Results : This study showed that the Quality of Health Service was related significantly to the Satisfaction Level of Jamkesmas Patient (p = 0.003). Conclusions : There was a statistically significant relationship between Health Service Quality and the Satisfaction Level of Jamkesmas patients of 52.80%. Abstract

Background: In 2012, the maternal mortality rate or MMR and infant mortality rate or IMR in Cilacap, Central Java, tends to increase through the Expanding Maternal and Neonatal Survival or EMAS. This study aimed to determine the implementation expanding maternal and new born survival program in strengthening mother and child health and referral services.Subjects and Method: This was qualitative study. This was conducted in Cilacap.A total of 16 health professional and four societies. The informants were team leader of EMAS, EMAS quality improvement coordinator, civil society coordinator strengthener of EMAS, head of health service in Cilacap, and Chairman of the Civil Society Forum. The data was collected with interviews, observation and document and analyzed using content analysis.Results: The results of this study showed that the standard policy of the implementation of the EMAS clear, precise, clear measurable was indicators of achievement. Objectives of this study could be understood by health professionals and civil society of maternal and child health forum. Health professionals resources in an amount sufficient, with the competence and there was lack equipment and drugs in health centers. Networking system of EMAS utilization was optimal in public health center and hospitals. Communication is effective starting from the initial visit, counseling, socialization, and comparative study. Characteristics of executing agencies indicate good working procedures. Disposition implementer showed a positive attitude and support. The environmental conditions of social, political and economic support. Some of the program started in Cilacap to reduce MMR and IMR and fairly produced significant results.Conclusions: It is suggested to Cilacaphealth service to hold aid and medicine midwife training to improve skills in handling emergency cases of maternal and neonatal.Keywords: Expanding Maternal and New Born Survival, maternal mortality, infant mortalityCorrespondence: Indah Sulistyoningrum. Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan kedaruratan global bagi kemanusiaan. WHO menggulirkan Strategi DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short-course) dan Strategi Stop TB Partnership bertujuan untuk menjangkau semua penderita TB. Kedua strategi tersebut belum mampu mencapai target CDR (Case Detection Rate) secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh dan peran modal sosial kader kesehatan dan kepemimpinan tokoh masyarakat dalam penemuan TB paru BTA positif (CDR). Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dan studi kasus. Sasaran penelitian adalah Tim Penanggulangan TB di Puskesmas dan Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten, serta kader kesehatan, tokoh masyarakat, penderita TB, dan mantan penderita TB di Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian survei dengan analisis jalur menunjukkan, besaran pengaruh langsung modal sosial kader kesehatan terhadap CDR adalah 8,64%; pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan tokoh masyarakat terhadap CDR adalah 33%; dan pengaruh modal sosial kader kesehatan dan kepemimpinan tokoh masyarakat secara simultan terhadap CDR adalah 27,7%. Hasil penelitian studi kasus menyimpulkan, peran modal sosial kader kesehatan dalam CDR terdiri dari dimensi kognitif, relasional dan struktural. Dimensi kognitif meliputi kepedulian, saling percaya dan rasa memiliki antar anggota keluarga, warga masyarakat, serta kader dan petugas kesehatan. Dimensi relasional meliputi kerjasama dan komunikasi yang dilandasi nilai-nilai bersama. Dimensi struktural meliputi jaringan sosial, perkumpulan dan persatuan masyarakat. Peran kepemimpinan tokoh masyarakat dalam CDR adalah memberikan motivasi, tempat bertanya dan konsultasi, mengadakan pertemuan rutin, serta mengelola kegiatan dan menggalang donasi.Tuberculosis (TB) is a global emergency for humanity. WHO launches DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short-Course) and Stop TB Partnership strategies aiming to reach all people with TB. Both strategies have not been able to reach the target of CDR (case detection rate) consistently. This research aimed to analyze the effect and the role of health cadres? social capital and community figures? leadership in finding the people with positive-BTA pulmonary tuberculosis (CDR). The methods employed were survey and case study. The target of research was TB management team in Puskesmas (Public Health Centre) and Regency Health Service, and health cadres, community figures, people with TB, and people with TB previously in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. The result of research with path analysis showed that the size of direct effect of health cadres? social capital on CDR was 8.64%; that of community figures? leadership on CDR was 33%; and that of health cadres? social capital and community figures? leadership simultaneously on CDR was 27.7%. The result of case study research concluded that the role of health cadres? social capital in CDR consisted of cognitive, relational and structural dimensions. Cognitive dimension included care, mutual trust, and sense of belonging among the members of family, members of society, and health cadres and workers. Relational dimension included cooperation and communication based on commonness value. Structural dimension included social network, community association and unity. The role of community figures? leadership in CDR was that it provided motivation, served as the one to which any one asking question and consulting, conducted routine meeting, and managed activity and raised donation.
