Abstract

: The use of learning media is one of the critical success factors in higher education, therefore an educator must have innovation to use of learning media. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on the Inspiring Suit 8 on arbitration material courses of theoretical and practice for Volleyball 1 academic year 2018/2019 at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The existence of media will be a big successful support in learning process, so that students do not feel boredom because of the weaknesses of the lecturers, in which they are unable to provided good learning variation or even have difficulty in conveying or transferring knowledge. The research was descriptive qualitative design. The research subjects were students of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program who took volleyball theory and practice courses in the even semester academic year 2018/2019. The instruments used were the media expert review questionnaire, the learning expert questionnaire, and the trial analysis questionnaire. The questionnaire will be analyzed to see the feasibility of the developed media. Based on the data results review by media expert volleyball, media learning expert and field trials, it can be concluded that media developed is useful in learning process. In addition, it is used to provide independent motivation, which can be used in lesson for students.

Abstract

The research aims to develop learning media products as a reference book to improve handball athletes in Malang city's attack strategy techniques. The method used in this research is the development method (Research and Development) from Brog and Gall. In this development of the research, a reference book was produced on variations of an attack training strategy for Handball athletes in Malang. The research results of the analysis data from the Analysis Expert of handball training with a value of 4,03 on a scale of 1 to 5 with a good predicate, the results of validation by the Expert of media with a value of 4,22 on a scale of 1to 5 with a good prediction. The research results from the first phase trial showed a small group with a percentage of 7,43%, the research results in the second phase trial with a percentage of 78,57%, and in the field trial, a percentage of 83,33% was obtained. Based on the results of management data, the developed book product was declared fit for use as a learning media for attack training strategy of variation for handball athletes in the city of Malang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a product development in the form of an android application that can be used to support learning the principles of mechanics in swimming for students of the Physical Health and Recreation Education Study Program IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, in order to increase students' cognitive knowledge in the field of biomechanics in swimming. The sample used was 60 students from class of 2022 taking swimming courses in the 2022/2023 academic year. the instrument used was a questionnaire for media experts, swimming learning experts, and developed media users, the development steps carried out were (1) compiling a text on biomechanics in swimming (2) developing an android application according to the material developed in the android application format. Based on the assessment of media experts and material experts as well as the results of field trials, the product developed is feasible to be used as a medium for students of the physical health and recreation education study program in swimming learning on the principle of mechanics in swimming.
