Abstract

From this research, it is found that according to gender, women and men have the same position in the household, there are several rights that can be used as a reference in carrying out household duties. Men should not be proud to do household chores, and women should be more generous if they participate in fulfilling household needs. the position of women in a gender perspective is equal. The principle of gender is not sex, but understands and knows the duties between men and women, so that men are not arbitrary towards women. In ancient times women were limited to taking care of kitchens, wells and mattresses. But now women have the freedom to live their lives, such as dressing, trading, careers and so on. This cannot be separated from the verse of the Qur'an which is able to free women from caste differences that have been binding. The position of women in the family based on gender is equal to that of men. This can be seen in various ways, firstly both have the responsibility of realizing life goals, secondly both are equal in terms of work, child care, education, thirdly there is no discrimination in the family, thirdly equal in dignity, men as husbands and women as wives. and five women are equal to men in terms of professional and career development.
