Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, growth opportunities, profitability and company size on the leverage of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The period used in this research is 5 years, starting from 2014 to 2018. The population in this study is 126 manufacturing companies that have been and are still listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The sample selection technique was purposive sampling method and obtained 40 manufacturing companies that were used as samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of data analysis, liquidity and profitability partially have a negative and significant effect on Leverage, Growth Opportunity has no effect on Leverage, Firm Size has no effect on Leverage. Based on the Anova test, it is known that the F statistical value is (107.502) with a significance of (0.000). The adjusted R Square value is (0.682 or 68.2%), this is, if the independent variable is statistically significant in influencing the dependent variable, there is an indication of heteroscedasticity. We recommend that if the independent variable is not statistically significant in affecting the dependent variable, there is no indication of heteroscedasticity. This is observed from the significance of the profitability above the 5% confidence level. Keywords: Leverage, Liquidity, Growth Opportunity, Profitability, Company Size

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Office of the Deputy Mayor of TebingTinggi City, which aims to determine how the influence of work stress and work conflict on employee performance at the office of the mayor of TebingTinggi. The results of hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis with two independent variables and one dependent variable indicate that: The proposed H1 states that: Job stress affects employee performance at the TebingTinggi Mayor's Office, from table 4.11 it can be seen if the t-count value is 2.085 or greater than t-table (? : 5%, df : 76 = 1.665), besides that the significance value is 0.040 or less than the model significance value of 0.05. Then H1 is accepted, meaning that work stress has an effect on employee performance at the TebingTinggi Mayor's Office. The proposed H2 states that: Work Conflict affects Employee Performance at the TebingTinggi Mayor's Office, from table 4.11 it can be seen if the t-count value is 2.702 or greater than t-table (? : 5%, df : 76 = 1.665), In addition, the significance value is 0.009 or less than the model significance value of 0.05. Then H2 is accepted, meaning that Work Conflict affects Employee Performance at the TebingTinggi Mayor's Office. The proposed H3 states that work stress and work conflict simultaneously affect employee performance at the TebingTinggi Mayor's Office. From table 4.12, the calculated F value is 15,624 or greater than the table F value (? : 5%, df numerator : 2 df denominator : 75, F-table: 3.12), in addition to the significance value of 0.000 or less than the model's significance of 0.05, it can be concluded that if H3 is accepted, it means that work stress and work conflict simultaneously affect employee performance at the mayor's office. High cliff.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide an effective strategy for improving the economy of coastal families in Serdang Bedagai Regency. Serdang Bedagai Regency has great potential in coastal natural resources, but many coastal families still face economic constraints with monthly incomes below 2.5 million rupiah. Many of them even have to work outside the area to meet their daily needs. An ecopreneurship-based economic improvement strategy is a relevant solution to overcome this challenge. This includes education, training and development of sustainable, ecologically based businesses. Collaboration with related agencies, non-governmental organizations, NGOs and educational institutions is also needed to support the implementation of this strategy. Through this ecopreneurship approach, it is hoped that coastal families in Serdang Bedagai Regency can increase their income while preserving natural resources that are important for their lives and those of future generations, as well as encouraging sustainable economic growth in the region.
