Abstract

From this research, it can be known that the employee performance at Union Education Center Medan can be explained by work environment in 50.9% and the remaining of 49.1% can be explained by other factors. Compensation in 54.6% and the remaining of 45.4% can be explained by other factors. The regression equation is Y=10.920+0.136X1+0.028X2, which means the increase of 1 unit of work environment will lead to increase of 0.136 units of employee performance at Union Education Center and the increase of 1 unit of compensation will lead to increase of 0.028 units of employee performance at Union Education Center. It also can be seen that work environment and compensation has impact toward employee performance. Because it is 6.322 > 3.26 (Fcount > +Ftable) this is why that the hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted while null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The study recommended that the company can provide a comfort workplace, more adequate equipment to support the teacher daily works. The company also need to pay attention to employee compensation to improve employee commitment and performance.

Abstract

Mostly, home conflict just spills over to work area and job stress spills over to home. This calls work-life conflict. As company that specializes in transportation and construction services, CV Saudara Jaya Abadi Tama – Medan is facing problem with its employees. To solve this problem, it is become a priority for company’s management and employees to know what factors that causing work life conflict and understand on how to handle it. In this research, writer uses descriptive research design in collecting, classifying, and analyzing the data. The first method refers to descriptive study which provides explanation of the variable work life conflict and employees’ performance theories. The second method refers to correlative research since the purpose is to find the correlation between independent and dependent variables..

Abstract

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat adalah proses pembangunan di mana masyarakat berinisiatif untuk memulai proses kegiatan sosial untuk memperbaiki situasi dan kondisi diri sendiri. Pemberdayaan masyarakat akan sukses atau dapat terjadi apabila warga ikut berpartisipasi. Dalam kerangka acuan pembangunan nasional umumnya dan khususnya Perkebunan Bekiun, Kuala Langkat, memberdayakan masyarakat diberbagai segi sudah seharusnya menjadi pusat perhatian dan tanggung jawab bersama. Membangun ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan bearti pula membangun sebagian besar penduduk indonesia. Selain memiliki potensi sumber daya manusia pedesaan juga memiliki potensi sumber daya alam. Penyuluhan ini diselenggarakan dengan tujuan membantu masyarakat memperoleh daya untuk mengambil keputusan dan menentukan tindakan yang akan dilakukan terkait dengan diri mereka termasuk megurangi efek hambatan pribadi dan sosial dalam melakukan tindakan. Hal ini dilakukan melalui peningkatan kemampuan dan rasa percaya diri untuk menggunakan daya yang dimiliki.
