Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan kotoran walet dalam ransum terhadap performans burung puyuh jantan umur 0-5 minggu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kandang unggas, Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian Universitas Diponegoro dan berlangsung selama 5 minggu. Materi yang digunakan adalah burung puyuh jantan umur satu hari sebanyak 200 ekor. g, 340,13 g, 356,69 g, 355,43 g dan 350,92 g. Bobot badan T0, T1, T2, T3 dan T4 adalah 97,00 g, 101,55 g, 106,50 g, 104,00 g dan 109,25 g. Konversi ransum T0, T1, T2, T3 dan T4 adalah 3,26, 3,37, 3,35, 3,45 dan 3,22. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan penambahan kotoran walet dalam ransum tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu bahwa kotoran walet dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ransum burung puyuh jantan sampai level 12%.Kata kunci : Burung puyuh; kotoran walet; performans.ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of swallow droppings in the ration on performance of quail males aged 0-5 weeks. This research was conducted in the poultry cages, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Diponegoro University and lasted for 5 weeks. The materials used were 200 heads of males quail aged one day. Parameters observed were feed consumption, body weight gain and feed convention rations. The results showed that the average ration T0, T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 335,71 g, 340,13 g, 356,69 g, 355,43 g and 350,92 g. Body weight gain T0, T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 97,00 g, 101,55 g, 106,50 g, 104,00 g and 109,25 g. Convertion ratio T0, T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 3,26, 3,37, 3,35, 3,45 and 3,22. The results of the statistical analysis showed the addition of swallow droppings in the ration had no significant effect (P> 0.05) to ration consumption, body weight gain and conversion ratio. The conclusion from this research is that swallow droppings it can be used as a ration to the level of 12%Keywords: Quail; swallow droppings; performance.
