Abstract

Deta Yamaha Singaparna is one of the companies engaged in motorcycle sales and Yamaha motorcycle services. The object of the research is the assignment of service mechanics related to the optimization of mechanical assignments at Deta Yamaha Singaparna. This research is a quantitative research using the Assignment Method. The data was processed from the results of time measurements by four mechanics when working on servicing four types of motors, namely Matic Injection, Sport Injection, Carburetor Underbone, and Injection Underbone. The analysis was carried out using the Assignment Method. Based on the results of the analysis, Arman's mechanic works on the Sport Injection (SI) type of motorcycle, Edward's mechanic works on the Karbu Underbone (BK) motorcycle, and the human mechanic works on the Underbone Injection (BK) motorcycle type, and Lutfi's mechanic works on the Matic Injection (MI) motorcycle type. The total time using the Assignment Method was 146 minutes, while the previous total time was 174 minutes. There was a time saving of 28 minutes. The second solution is obtained so that the mechanical assignment can be optimal. Deta Yamaha Singaparna can change the assignment of mechanics so that service activities can run optimally so that mechanics get assignments based on optimal time results when working on Yamaha motorcycle services.

Abstract

Libraries are a source of information and learning for the community. In their daily life, people need the availability and services of information that can be obtained easily and quickly. Activities carried out in the library need to be well coordinated so that there is no confusion. The efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided by the library to its users is largely determined by the placement of service work units in the library. The services provided are not only determined by the availability or size of the room, but the most important thing is that the placement of the services is arranged so that it shows the best pattern of work and supervision. This study aims to determine how to design the layout of the library room at STT Cipasung. This type of research is to use the principle of an open system (open access). Data collection was done by interview, and observation. Interviews were conducted with the library staff of STT Cipasung. The result of the study are in the form of room arrangement and library design proposed in the form of library layout design drawings, for the proposed conditions based on the location plan of the STT Cipasung library room. Finally, from the calculation of the room, it can be concluded that the layout of the STT Cipasung library has a visitor capacity of 25 people.

Abstract

Cipasung Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic Boarding Schools that still carries out waste disposal activities with an open dumping system. The system causes various losses such as no added value for Islamic boarding schools and environmental pollution at the Final Disposal Site. One solution to the waste problem is to manage it into waste briquettes. After drying and chopping, it is then mashed with a garbage crusher machine. Refining machines sold in the market are quite expensive, therefore, a waste-refining machine is designed with the principle of saving innovation. These innovations create products that are cheaper than existing products. The Design Process Using Machine Design Procedures. Making machine drawings using LibreCAD and Blender software. The price of the machine is calculated using the bill of materials. Machines designed using materials available in the market such as used drums, angle iron, large knives and small power dynamos. Has the same capacity and speed of waste processing as machines sold in the market, and has a lower price.

Abstract

The increase in population in Tasikmalaya Regency, especially in Singaparna District was followed by an increase in the amount of waste produced. During the research activities, the Tasikmalaya Regency Environmental Service had a problem, namely the garbage transportation route was not optimal because the garbage transport route from the Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) to the Final Disposal Site (TPA) had several routes with vehicles carrying waste that exceeded the vehicle capacity. The method used to overcome this problem uses the Clarke and Wright Saving Algorithm. The results of calculations using the Clarke and Wright Saving Algorithm show that the total distance saved for all vehicles is 69.64 Km per week and the fuel costs saved are Rp. 44,830.74 per week. The results obtained show that routes created using the Clarke and Wright Saving Algorithm produce routes and fuel costs for transporting waste that are minimum than the existing routes.
