Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the big five personality and self-compassion towards loneliness in adolescents with devorced parents. This research uses quantitative methods.The measuring instrument used to measure loneliness is De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (DJGLS). The big five personality is measured by Big Five Inventory (BFI) and the measuring instrument used to measure self-compassion is Self-Compassion scale by Neff. Data was processed using reggresion analyze with three predictor. The main result of this research there is significant effect of Big Five Personality on loneliness in adolescents with divorced parents, the percent of significant effect a following by dimension OCEAN is 5,2%, 3,1%, 18,6%, 7% and 26,1% and the is an effect of self-compassion on loneliness in adolescents with divorced parents, there is percent 5,7% that the resulting effect is negative which indicates that the higher the self-compassion, the lower the loneliness.

Abstract

Abstract: All children experience the process of growth and development in life. In order to reach optimal development, the child needs to get the appropriate stimulation provided with the right method. At the age of 0 to 7 years, children learn to use limbs so that the most appropriate stimulation for children aged 0 to 7 years is to use limbs as a medium of learning. This is in line with the techniques performed on sensory integration programs. But unfortunately not many parents know this. This issue often creates problems in child development. The purpose of this community service is to raise the awareness of parents to conduct teaching and learning process in ways appropriate to the age and stages of development owned by children so that children can be optimally developed. This activity is done by making activity planning, determining the location of activities and doing psychoeducation program on the parents of children at Darul Syifa Wal Aitam Foundation that located at Kranji, Bekasi. This activity is an attempt to improve parental knowledge about the importance of sensory integration and the impact it gains when the child's sensory is not well integrated. The benefit of this community service is the increased knowledge of parents about the use of sensory integration methods so that it can be used to optimize the growth of their children. Abstrak: Semua anak mengalami proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dalam hidupnya. Agar perkembangannya dapat optimal, anak perlu mendapatkan stimulasi yang sesuai yang diberikan dengan metode yang tepat. Di usia 0 sampai 7 tahun anak belajar menggunakan anggota tubuhnya sehingga pemberian stimulasi yang paling tepat untuk anak usia 0 sampai 7 tahun adalah dengan menggunakan anggota tubuhnya sebagai media pembelajaran. Hal ini senada dengan teknik-teknik yang dilakukan pada program sensory integrasi. Namun sayangnya belum banyak orang tua yang mengetahui hal ini sehingga sering muncul permasalahan dalam perkembangan anak.Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran orangtua untuk melakukan proses belajar mengajar dengan cara-cara yang sesuai dengan usia dan tahapan perkembangan yang dimiliki oleh anak sehingga anak dapat berkembang dengan optimal. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan membuat perencanaan kegiatan, menentukan lokasi kegiatan dan melakukan program psikoedukasi pada orangtua anak-anak pada yayasan Darul Syifa Wal Aitam Kranji, Bekasi. Kegiatan ini sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orangtua tentang pentingnya sensori integrasi dan dampak yang didapatkan apabila sensori anak tidak terintegrasi dengan baik. Manfaat dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang penggunaan metode sensori integrasi sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan tumbuh kembang anakanaknya .

Abstract

The number of problems faced by adolescents makes adolescents need to have resilience. Resilience is a psychological situation used to describe individuals who show courage and the ability to adapt to difficult life situations. Unfortunately , there are still many adolescents who do not realize the importance of having resilience. Remaja Tangguh program aims to increase the resilience of adolescents in Kalisapu Village, Slawi District, Tegal Regency, Central Java. This program was implemented at SMK An - Nur Kalisapu Village which was attended by 32 students. This program taught ways that can be done to increase youth resilience, including positive word affirmations, body screening, relaxation, and creation of positive words on a canvas bag. When adolescents have high resilience they can complete their developmental tasks well so that they can evolve optimally. Abstrak Banyaknya masalah yang dihadapi oleh remaja menjadikan remaja perlu memiliki resiliensi. Resiliensi adalah keadaan psikologis yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan individu yang menunjukkan keberanian dan kemampuan beradaptasi pada situasi hidup yang sulit. Sayangnya masih banyak remaja yang belum menyadari pentingnya memiliki resiliensi. Program “REMAJA TANGGUH” untuk meningkatkan resiliensi pada remaja di Desa Kalisapu, Kecamatan Slawi, Kabupaten Tegal, Jawa Tengah. Program ini dilaksanakan tepatnya di SMK An-Nur Desa Kalisapu yang diikuti oleh 32 pelajar. Program ini mengajarkan cara-cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan resiliensi remaja antara lain afirmasi kata positif, body screening, relaksasi, dan kreasi kata positif pada tas kanvas. Saat remaja mempunyai resiliensi yang tinggi mereka dapat menyelesaikan tugas perkembangannya dengan baik sehingga mereka dapat berkembang dengan optimal.

Abstract

Abstrak Sebagian besar warga di Kelurahan Jati Asih, Kota Bekasi bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga, sehingga banyak orangtua yang menitipkan anak-anaknya untuk di asuh oleh kakek dan nenek atau pengasuh. Kesibukan orangtua, menjadi salah satu alasan anak jarang memiliki waktu bersama dengan orangtuanya, sehingga anak-anak kehilangan pengasuhan yang seharusnya di dapatkan langsung dari orangtua. Tidak jarang orangtua belum memiliki pemahaman pentingnya kualitas pengasuhan orangtua dalam menstimulasi perkembangan anak. Oleh karena, itu dinilai penting untuk memberikan program psikoedukasi ke masyarakat khususnya orangtua mengenai upaya peningkatan kualitas pengasuhan orangtua ke anak melalui metode positive parenting orangtua di Kelurahan Jati Asih, Kota Bekasi. Program ini khususnya memberikan psikoedukasi kepada orangtua yang berada di Kelurahan Jati Asih, Kota Bekasi. Namun program ini juga memberikan kesempatan kepada orangtua yang ingin mendapatkan pemahaman tentang positive parenting. Peserta yang ikut dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 216 orang, orangtua dari Kelurahan Jati Asih yang terlibat kegiatan ini sebanyak 14 orang, dan peserta lainnya dari luar daerah Jati Asih, seperti dari Aceh, Jogja, Sulawesi, dan lainnya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom, karena kondisi pandemic COVID-19, sehingga aktivitas tetap dilakukan di rumah. Program ini memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta mengenai apa itu positive parenting, teknik-teknik positive parenting, manfaat positive parenting, dan tips untuk melaksanakan positive parenting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of big five personality on organizational commitment toward the lecturers State University Of Jakarta. Personality trait is composed of five major trait that Opennes to Experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism (OCEAN). The fifth trait of the personality trait will be seen any where that has an influence on the organizational commitment of the lecturers in Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research method using quantitative methods. The sampling technique used is insidental sampling. In the process of the data used comes from the true score of Rasch modeling. The measuring tool used for organizational commitment is the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire whichis constructed by Meyer and Allen with reliability value of items of 0.97 based on Rasch Modeling. For measuring personality trait is used The Big Five Inventory who constructed by John et al. With the reliability value items amounted to 0.99 based on Rasch modeling. In the data processing used multiple regression model. Based on the result, obtained the value of p = 0,000 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that thefive personality trait had an influence (13,1%) on organizational commitment, only trait Extraversions and Conscientiousness, while trait opennes to Experience, Agreeableness and Neuroticism did not have effect.

Abstract

This study aims to examine empirically whether there is influence between psychological climate to organizational commitment. The subject were 221 lecturer of State University of Jakarta (UNJ) selecting using incidental sampling technique. This type of research is a quantitative research, data collection techniques using research data obtained through survey instruments/questionnaire adaption from previous researchers. Instruments made have been tested for validity and reliability, and belonging to the reliable criteria. Research hypothesis testing was performed using linear regression analysis of the predictors, with the psychological climate as a predictor variable. The analysis shows a correlation coefficient of 0,000, less than the significance level (0.05). This value is interpreted that there are significant psychological climate to organizational commitment. The coefficient of determination shows rxy2 value of 0.301, meaning that there is a 30,1% variance tendency of psychological climate on. So this research indicates that the lecturer will indicate the optimal organizational commitment if it has high psychological climate.

So this research indicates that the influence of job involvement against organizational commitment lecturers of the State University of Jakarta.

Abstract

This reasearch was conducted to find out the effect of perceived social support toward subjective well-being on elementary honorary teachers in North Jakarta. Incidental sampling was used as technique sampling with 135 elementary honorary teachers as sample. Multidimensional Scale Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) was used to measure perceived social support, meanwhile the subjective well-being measured by Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE). The result show that perceived social support gives significant influence toward subjective well-being, which is 5,4%. As the influenced or result is positive, it means higher perceived social support higher subjective well-being on elementary honorary teachers in North Jakarta and vice verca

Abstract

This study aims to look at the description of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in flood survivors. PCL-C was used as an instrument to measure post traumatic stress disorder. This study used the PCL-C scale from Weathers and was developed by Solichah. Data analysis was performed used descriptive analysis techniques with the help of SPSS version 22. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that subjects who experienced symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who were in the high category were 24.6%, 61.5% moderate, and low 13,8%. The implication of this study stated that individuals who have symptoms of PTSD after experiencing natural disaster need professional treatment to reduce their symptoms. Intervention is needed to make the individuals can overcome their obstacles and function better

Abstract

Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in many changes, including more time for parents to interact with their children. The increasing duration of togetherness among family members should be able to improve the quality of interaction between family members. In fact, there is an increasing problem stemming from disharmony in the relationship between children and parents. One of the causes of this problem is the unpreparedness of family members to face changes and the lack of information for parents about positive parenting. The existence of a positive parenting community "POPSTAR" is expected to be a forum for parents to share related problems, providing mutual support between parents who face similar problems. In addition, this community also disseminated material on child development, techniques in positive parenting. Community members are asked to apply the material provided and write it down in a worksheet so that members can experience firsthand the benefits of applying positive parenting. Members who encounter problems when applying positive parenting can ask psychologists in the community Abstrak Pandemik Covid-19 mengakibatkan banyak perubahan diantaranya adalah lebih banyak waktu orangtua untuk berinteraksi dengan anak-anak. Meningkatnya durasi kebersamaan diantara anggota keluarga seharusnya dapat meningkatkan kualitas interaksi antar anggota keluarga. Pada kenyataannya terjadi peningkatan masalah yang bersumber dari ketidakharmonisan hubungan anak dan orangtua. Masalah ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh ketidaksiapan anggota keluarga menghadapi perubahan serta kurangnya informasi yang dimiliki orangtua mengenai pengasuhan positif. Adanya komunitas positive parenting “POPSTAR” diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah berbagi orangtua terkait masalah yang dihadapi, saling memberi dukungan antar orangtua yang menghadapi masalah yang serupa. Selain itu dalam komunitas ini juga disosialisasikan materi mengenai perkembangan anak, teknik-teknik dalam pengasuhan positif. Anggota komunitas diminta menerapkan materi yang diberikan dan menuliskannya dalam lembar kerja sehingga anggota dapat merasakan secara langsung manfaat dari pengaplikasian positive parenting. Anggota yang menemui kendala ketika mengaplikasikan positive parenting dapt bertanya kepada psikolog yang berada di komunitas.
