Abstract

PT X is a startup company engaged in financial technology, experiencing an increased in the number of turnover. Turnover has a negative impact on the company. Company will lack human resources and need time recruiting and training new employees. Turnover intention is an accurate predictor of the number of turnover. An organization can’t eliminate the intention of employee turnover, but can reduce the level of intention. One of the factor that cause frequent employee desires to leave the company are employee insecurities at job. T test results of this study indicate that the standard value of the coefficient job insecurity is 0.189 with a significance level of 0,000. Based on the results can be concluded that job insecurity has a significant and positive effect of turnover intention. PT. X adalah perusahaan rintisan yang bergerak di bidang financial technology, mengalami peningkatan angka pindah kerja. Pindah kerja memberikan dampak yang negatif bagi perusahaan. Perusahaan akan kekurangan sumber daya manusia dan membutuhkan waktu untuk merekrut serta melatih karyawan baru. Intensi pindah kerja adalah peramal yang akurat terhadap angka pindah kerja. Suatu organisasi tidak dapat menghilangkan intensi pindah kerja karyawan, namun dapat mengurangi tingkat intensi tersebut. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan sering terjadinya keinginan karyawan untuk keluar dari perusahaan tempat bekerja adalah perasaan tidak nyaman karyawan pada pekerjaannya. Hasil Uji T pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai standar koefisien yang diperoleh pada ketidakamanan kerja sebesar 0.189 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.000. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketidaknyamanan kerja berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap intensi pindah kerja.

Abstract

Change is a necessity because no one can reject or avoid change. This can also happen in organizations, so it is important to be able to see a person's readiness in dealing with changes with the variables that influence it. The main objective of this study was to examine the role of psychological capital as a mediators in the relationship between perceived organizational support and readiness of change in PT X. Participants were 150 employees of PT X, a subsidiary of one of the BUMN. Data were collected using a change readiness questionnaire based on the Holt scale, Armenakis (2007), the scale of the perception of organizational support by Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchinson, & Sowa (1986) to measure perceived organizational support. Psychological capital is measured using a concept from Luthans, Youssef-Morgan, Avolio (2015) which was later developed by the Faculty of Psychology at Tarumanagara University. Data processing using linear regression has proven the perceived of organizational support directly has a positive and significant effect on readiness of changes in PT X. The contribution of the variable perception of organizational support in explaining the variable readiness of change is 30.2%. Perceived organizational support have a positive and significant effect on readiness to face change through psychological capital mediators at PT X. The contribution of readiness of change and psychological capital in explaining the variables of readiness to face change is 46.6%.  Perubahan adalah keniscayaan karena tidak ada seorang pun yang dapat menolak atau menghindar dari perubahan. Hal ini pun dapat terjadi di organisasi, sehingga penting untuk dapat melihat kesiapan seseorang dalam menghadapi perubahan dengan mempertimbangkan variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhinya. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peran mediator modal psikologis terhadap hubungan persepsi dukungan organisasi dengan kesiapan menghadapi perubahan di PT X. Partisipan adalah 150 karyawan PT X, anak usaha salah satu BUMN. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner kesiapan berubah berdasarkan skala Holt, Armenakis (2007), skala studi persepsi dukungan organisasi oleh Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchinson, & Sowa (1986) untuk mengukur persepsi dukungan organisasi. Variabel modal psikologis diukur dengan menggunakan konsep dari Luthans, Youssef-Morgan, Avolio (2015) yang kemudian dikembangkan oleh Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Tarumanagara. Pengolahan data menggunakan regresi linear telah membuktikan persepsi dukungan organisasi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan menghadapi perubahan di PT X. Kontribusi dari variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi dalam menjelaskan variabel kesiapan menghadapi perubahan sebesar 30.2%. Persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan menghadapi perubahan melalui mediator modal psikologis di PT X. Kontribusi dari variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi dan modal psikologis dalam menjelaskan variabel kesiapan menghadapi perubahan sebesar 46.6%.

Abstract

According to the literature, employees who have vigor, dedication and absorp in their work are considered to have a high work engagement and are able to increase productivity. This research was conducted to see the role of transformational leadership and gender to work engagement. Participants are 208 IT sales that sell IT products. The instrument test uses item analysis test, and regression analysis uses multiple regression. The results show that only transformational leadership has a significant relationship with work engagement, that means the higher the role of transformational leaders, the higher level of work engagement is held. While the gender variable does not have a significant relationship with work engagement. Based on the results obtained, the role of transformational leadership is needed by IT sales as a factor that can increase work engagement. Menurut literatur, karyawan yang menampilkan semangat, dedikasi dan tenggelam dalam pekerjaan mereka dianggap memiliki keterikatan kerja yang tinggi serta mampu meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat peran kepemimpinan transformasional dan jenis terhadap keterikatan kerja. Partisipan berjumlah 208 sales IT yang melakukan penjualan produk IT. Uji instrumen menggunakan uji analisis butir, serta analisis regresi menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hanya kepemimpinan transformasional yang berperan secara signifikan terhadap keterikatan kerja, artinya semakin tinggi peran pemimpin transformasional yang dirasakan maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat keterikatan kerja yang dimiliki. Sedangkan variabel jenis kelamin tidak berperan terhadap keterikatan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, peran kepemimpinan transformasional diperlukan oleh sales IT sebagai faktor yang dapat meningkatkan keterikatan kerja.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries implemented health protocols and implemented lockdowns several times. This causes changes in learning activities, thus requiring special teaching methods. Teachers are required to be creative in conveying material through online (online) learning media. Likewise, teachers and students who initially studied face-to-face are now forced to study from home online. This can cause teachers to feel pressured. Gratitude and social support received (perceived social support) can help teachers overcome the problems they face. This study aims to determine the role of teacher gratitude and teacher perceived social support for teacher subjective well-being during a pandemic. This research was conducted using an electronic questionnaire aimed at 202 teachers who teach at secondary level schools with an age range of 20-46 years. The measurement tools used are the Gratitude Questionnaire Revised-Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (R-MSPSS), and the Teacher Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (TSWQ). As a result of the study, gratitude has a significant role in the teacher’s subjective well variable, as well as perceived social support. The role of the PSS dimension in the TSWQ variable is only seen in the family dimension which has a positive and significant value. Perceived social support and gratitude have a positive and significant role in teacher subjective well-being. The higher the value of perceived social support and gratitude, the higher the subjective well-being.
