Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy with career maturity and differences in career maturity in high school and vocational students, as well as differences in career maturity in terms of future orientation. This research use quantitative method with research design using correlation and comparative research. Subjects in this study were students of class XII SMA and SMK Mandalahayu Bekasi amounted to 100 students consisting of 50 high school students and 50 students of SMK. This research uses self efficacy scale with reliability value of Alpha Cronbach 0,896 and career maturity scale with reliability value Aplha Cronbach 0,899. Data analysis techniques use Rank-Spearman correlation and Mann Whitney comparison. This study found that there is no relationship between self efficacy and career maturity. Based on test results Mann Whitney also known that there is no difference in career maturity between high school and vocational school students. However, there is a difference in career maturity when viewed from the future orientation. Students who have an orientation to work have a higher level of career maturity than students who have an orientation to continue their education

Abstract

This study is aims to understand the meaning of life of the elderly who live in nursing homes. Meaning of life is something that is meaningful in individu that causes him or herself to live their life. In an old age, with a variety of events and experiences that have been passed, it is expected that those individu would have a meaning of life. This study used a qualitative method of data collection in the form of interviews and observations. From the result of interview and observation it is found that the elderly living in nursing homes in Bekasi have not find their meaning of life yet. They are still in the stage of the process to find the meaning of life

Abstract

The emergence of the 411 and 212 Defend Islamic Action movements in the election for the Governor of DKI Jakarta indicates the rise of identity politics. Interestingly, all of these movements are dominated by the Muslim middle class who are politically apolitical, conservative on religious values, but also part of a consumerist society, so the question of this research is how the perception of the Muslim middle class towards identity politics is associated with the emergence of the Action movement. Defend Islam 411 and 212. To understand the formation of identity politics, according to Buchari there are three ways, namely: legitimate identity, resistant identity, and project identity. The data was collected using a scale of perceptions of identity politics in the Muslim middle class and analyzed using the Rasch model. The Differential Functioning Test (DIF) is used to detect bias in items. The DIF results show that 9 items on the perception politics of identity scale have no bias towards both men and women. In addition, the DIF results also show that the 9 items of the perception scale on identity politics also do not have a bias either on subjects who are members of religious organizations or who are not members of religious organizations.

Abstract

Flow is a condition when individual merges within his/her activity. When a person in flow state, he/she can develop his/her abilities and more success in learning. The purpose of the study is to understand flow experience in learning among undergraduate student. The study used case study qualitative approach. Informant of this research was an undergraduate student which had flow experience. Data was collected by an interview. According to the result, the subject did not experience flow in the learning process, as likes he was in meditation. It happened because when he learned something, he felt be pressed by tasks. It’s important for individual to relax when they are learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine self regulated learning and family support for career maturity. Subjects were 42 students of class XII in SMAN Y Karawang. This study used self regulated learning scale with Cronbach alpha 0,861, family support scale with Cronbach alpha 0,876, and career maturity scale with Cronbach alpha 0,931. Data analysis using multiple regression. This study found that there was an influence between self regulated learning and family support to career maturity. Abstract

Sebagai remaja, generasi Phi (generasi Z Indonesia) menghadapi dua kali masa transisi, yaitu masa transisi dari sekolah menengah atas ke perguruan tinggi dan masa transisi dari perguruan tinggi ke dunia kerja. Kedua masa transisi ini menimbulkan stres karena generasi Phi diharuskan mengambil keputusan mengenai kariernya, yang merupakan salah satu tugas perkembangan remaja. Dalam mempersiapkan karier, terlebih dalam menghadapi masa transisi kedua, dibutuhkan kemampuan metakognitif dan dukungan dari orang-orang terdekat seperti keluarga, teman, dan significant other. Penelitian ini ingin mengeksplorasi apakah terdapat hubungan antara adaptabilitas karier dengan kemampuan metakognitif dan dukungan sosial pada generasi Phi yang akan menghadapi masa transisi kedua. Subjek adalah 107 mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir/skripsi. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri atas Career Adapt-abilities Scale (CAAS), Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI), dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kemampuan metakognitif dan dukungan sosial tidak dapat memprediksi adaptabilitas karier pada generasi Phi yang akan menghadapi masa transisi kedua. Kata Kunci: adaptabilitas karier, kemampuan metakognitif, dukungan sosial, generasi phi ABSTRACT As a teenager, generation Phi (generation Z Indonesia) encountered two transition. First, the transition from high school to college. Second, the transition from college to the work. These, two transition are stressful because the generation Phi is required to make career-decisions, which is one of the tasks of adolescent development. In career preparation in the second transition, generation Phi required a metacognitive abilities and support from the closest people such as family, friends, and significant other. This study aims to explore the relationship between career-adapt-ability and metacognitive abilities and social support among the generation Phi who will encounter a second transition period. Subjects are 107 undergraduate students who accomplish their thesis. Instruments of this study are. The Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS), the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI), and the Multidimensional Scale of Social Perception Support (MSPSS). The study found that metacognitive abilities and perceived social support could not predict career adaptability among generation Phi in their second transition. Abstract

The introduction of sex education in early childhood is still considered taboo andinappropriate by most parents. However, it is necessary to understand if there are thingsthat are important for us to teach children as early as possible in order to reduceunwanted actions such as sexual violence. The impact that will be felt and obtained byvictims of sexual violence will be very imprinted, both psychologically and physically. Theimportance of the role of parents in guiding and caring for children is one way to preventsexual violence in early childhood. The purpose of this activity is to provide information,discuss and train parents in order to increase public awareness in understanding theimportance of preventing sexual violence. This activity is carried out with 3 programactivities regarding the prevention of sexual violence, namely psychoeducation,socialization and training. Each activity takes place 3 (three) times in a communityservice program. Data collection was carried out before and after the activity took place.And at the end of the activity there is an evaluation conducted by the researcher.Researchers conduct online activities based on zoom meetings. Judging from the resultsin data collection, there are changes after the implementation of this program.

Abstract

Learning healthy internet ethics is one of the lessons that needs to be delivered from an early age so that internet users can use and use the internet in a healthy and safe manner. Lack of parental control over their children when accessing the internet in the environment where these activities are carried out. This needs to be conveyed to increase awareness of the internet world and the ability to sort out the content that is accessed, it is necessary to have an understanding of the importance of healthy and safe internet usage. Sexual violence can occur in children and adolescents, because they are considered as someone who is weak and has a high dependence on the adults around them. Sexual violence in dating in the results of the data obtained often occurs in adolescents aged from 15 years. Therefore, the authors hold psychoeducational activities about healthy internet and self-control training for teenagers about healthy internet using the webinar (zoom meeting) method, KSDP Psychoeducation (Sexual Violence in Dating) for teenagers using whatsapp group media and making physical media in the form of posters and videos. uploaded via social media Tiktok with Action Stop Sexual Violence against Women and Children.

Abstract

Human resources are the driving force of a country to develop forward and prosper. In this modern era, there has been a lot of competition everywhere that demands highly skilled and competent resources. Thus, teachers as instruments for producing quality resources must have the ability and expertise to maintain the quality of these resources. Of all the specific skills and expertise, English is one of the important components of Indonesian teachers, but in fact, many teachers in rural areas have poor English skills that could threaten the quality of their students. The lack of materials and facilities required causes poor English language skills for local teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Matla'ul Anwar 4. Furthermore, they have not received adequate education regarding English especially, Vocabulary. Seeing this problem, the application of learning using media application Duolingo can improve the vocabulary skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Matla'ul Anwar 4 teachers in Segar Tanjung Hamlet, Segaran Village, Batujaya District, Karawang Regency. The method used is face-to-face training at school and using a smartphone from the teacher or the trainer himself which is attended by 3 to 4 teaching staff. Teachers will be trained and taught about learning media and Duolingo to improve their vocabulary as well as a learning tool using smartphones and laptops. The results obtained were very positive, the teaching staff had understood the function and use of vocabulary and its definitions. They are also considering using learning media, such as Duolingo, into their English lessons at school.
