Abstract

Motivasi dianggap sebagai faktor penting untuk keberhasilan belajar termasuk belajar daring, sehingga perlunya mempertimbangkan kembali motivasi belajar di lingkungan belajar dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang sekarang ini sudah lebih maju. Motivasi dapat mempengaruhi apa yang kita pelajari, bagaimana kita belajar, dan kapan kita memilih untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 114 mahasiswa semester VI STIKes Muhammadiyah Lhokseumawe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi mahasiswa semester VI program studi SI keperawatan STIKes Muhammadiyah Lhokseumawe baik 100%, dengan skor persentase rata-rata 70,63%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi evaluasi berbagai pihak dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran daring di perguruan tinggi dan dapat menjadi bahan kajian bagi peneliti lain dalam menganalisis dan mengembangkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring pada masa darurat covid-19.

Abstract

Canna tubers (Canna edulis Kerr.) can be used as functional food for non-pharmacological treatment of hypercholesterolemia because canna tubers contain soluble fiber and antioxidant activity. This study aims to determine the effect of routine administration of functional food canna flour on changes in cholesterol levels in rats with hyperuricemia. This study used a one-way completely randomized design. Treatment with suspension of canna flour and sampling was carried out on days 1, 3, 7, 14, and 21. The determination of cholesterol levels in the blood of rats used the enzymatic method. Data on average cholesterol levels between treatment groups were statistically analyzed using the Kruskall-Wallis test (non-parametric) and followed by the Mann-Whitney test (p<0.05). The results showed that canna flour can change blood cholesterol levels of rats suffering from gout by inducing potassium oxonate. The dose of canna flour that can reduce blood cholesterol levels is 0.75 g/KgBW and 1.5 g/KgBW, this is indicated by a significant decrease in the total AUC value in the group compared to the negative control. Overall, it can be concluded that the cholesterol-lowering activity of canna depends on the dose given, only in a certain dose range. Abstrak Umbi ganyong (Canna edulis Kerr) dapat menjadi functional food pada pengobatan hiperkolesterol secara non farmakologi karena umbi ganyong memiliki kandungan serat larut dan aktivitas antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian secara rutin functional food tepung ganyong terhadap perubahan kadar kolesterol pada tikus yang mengalami hiperurisemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola satu arah. Perlakuan pemberian suspensi tepung ganyong dan sampling tersebut dilakukan pada hari ke 1, 3, 7, 14, dan 21. Penetapan kadar kolesterol dalam darah tikus menggunakan metode enzimatik. Data kadar kolesterol rata-rata antara kelompok perlakuan dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji Kruskall-Wallis (non parametrik) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Mann-Whitney (p<0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung ganyong dapat mengubah kadar kolesterol darah tikus yang menderita gout dengan induksi kalium oksonat. Dosis tepung ganyong yang dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol darah yaitu 0,75 g/KgBB dan 1,5 g/KgBB, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan menurunnya nilai AUC total secara signifikan pada kelompok tersebut dibandingkan dengan kontrol negatif. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas penurunan kolesterol dari ganyong tergantung pada dosis pemberian, hanya pada kisaran dosis tertentu.

Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic is a threat to health and well-being. Washing hands with soap is an effort to prevent Covid-19 as the body's protection from various infectious diseases. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of education on the behavior of washing hands with soap on disease prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic in preschool-aged children at Al-Muntahar Kindergarten, Lhokseumawe.The design of this research is Quassy experiment, with the design of One Group Pretest and Posttest. The population in the study amounted to 40 students. The number of samples is 40 respondents using total sampling technique. This research was carried out on 03 to 07 August 2021. The analysis was carried out by a computerized process through the paired t test.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the prevention of disease during the Covid-19 pandemic in preschool-aged children before being given education on handwashing with soap was in the category not done (65.0%) and disease prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic in preschool-aged children after being given education. the behavior of washing hands with soap is in the category done (75.0%). The results of the p-value = 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of education on the behavior of washing hands with soap on disease prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic in preschool age children.It is hoped that there will be more health education programs, especially about washing hands with soap by delivering counseling that is easily understood by children. Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini merupakan ancaman terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan. Mencuci tangan dengan sabun merupakan upaya pencegahan Covid-19 sebagai perlindungan tubuh berbagai penyakit yang sifatnya menular. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun terhadap pencegahan penyakit di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada anak usia prasekolah. Desain penelitian ini bersifat Quassy Experiment, dengan perancangan One Group Pretest dan Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 40 siswa. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 responden dengan menggunakan teknik totalsampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 03 s/d 07 Agustus 2021. Analisa dilakukan dengan proses komputerisasi melalui uji t-paired. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pencegahan penyakit di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada anak usia prasekolah sebelum diberikan edukasi perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun berada pada kategori tidak dilakukan (65.0%) dan pencegahan penyakit di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada anak usia prasekolah sesudah diberikan edukasi perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun berada pada kategori dilakukan (75.0%). Hasil nilai p-value= 0.000 <0.05, dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh edukasi perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun terhadap pencegahan penyakit di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada anak usia prasekolah. Diharapkan agar lebih memperbanyak program-program edukasi kesehatan terutama tentang cuci tangan pakai sabun dengan cara penyampaian penyuluhan yang mudah dimengerti oleh anak-anak.

Abstract

There are many pros and cons to the government's policy regarding the Covid-19 Vaccine for students in schools. Low knowledge and understanding of the Covid-19 vaccine are one of the causes. Socialization and education related to the Covid-19 Vaccine are one of the efforts to support this vaccination program. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of education using the E-Booklet VAKVID (Electronic Covid-19 Vaccine Booklet) on knowledge and attitudes of Understanding the Covid-19 Vaccine. Pre-Experimental Research with the design of One group pretest-posttest used a purposive sampling technique in sampling as many as 230 students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Junior Hogh School) Lhokseumawe City, knowledge and attitudes of understanding the Covid-19 vaccine were measured using questionnaires, analyzed through statistical tests Shapiro Wilk continued with the Wilcoxon test. The data from the study showed that there were differences in knowledge and attitudes of understanding the COVID-19 vaccine before and after education using the VAKVID e-Booklet. The average knowledge pretest score is 5.34±1.398 and the post-test score is 6.93±0.960, while the Attitude pretest score is 15.00±1.884 and the post-test score is 16.33±0.923. The influence of education using the VAKVID E-Booklet method provides a significant difference in knowledge (p = 0.000) and attitudes (p = 0.000) regarding Understanding the Covid-19 Vaccine. Education using the e-Booklet VAKVID method can increase knowledge and attitudes of understanding the Covid-19 vaccine in students. Abstrak: anyak pro dan kontra terhadap kebijakan pemerintah terkait Vaksin Covid-19 untuk siswa di sekolah. Pengetahuan dan sikap pemahaman vaksin Covid-19 yang rendah merupakan salah satu penyebabnya. Sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait Vaksin Covid -19 merupakan salah satu upaya dalam mendukung program vaksinasi ini . Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi  menggunakan metode E-Booklet VAKVID (Elektronik Booklet Vaksin Covid-19) terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap Pemahaman Vaksin Covid-19. Penelitian Pre Eksperimental dengan desain One group pretest-posttest ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dalam pengambilan sample sebanyak 230 siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Lhokseumawe, pengetahuan dan sikap pemahaman vaksin Covid-19 diukur menggunakan kuesioner, dianalisis melalui uji statistik Shapiro Wilk dilanjutkan uji Wilcoxon.Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap pemahaman vaksin Covid-19 sebelum dan sesudah edukasi menggunakan metode e-Booklet VAKVID. Rerata skor pretest pengetahuan adalah 5,34±1,398 dan skor posstest 6.93±0,960, sedangkan skor pretest Sikap adalah 15,00±1,884 dan skor posttest 16,33±0,923. Pengaruh edukasi menggunakan metode E-Booklet VAKVID memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan (p=0,000) dan sikap (p=0,000) Pemahaman Vaksin Covid-19. Edukasi menggunakan metode e-Booklet VAKVID dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap pemahaman vaksin Covid-19 pada siswa.

Abstract

. Dysmenorrhea is pain in the lower abdomen, sometimes radiating to the waist and thighs. This pain occurs before or during menstruation and lasts for a few hours to several days. Almost all women experience discomfort in the lower abdomen during menstruation. Lack of knowledge among female students about reproductive health includes menstrual disorders. This is because the students do not have any knowledge about it. In addition, although they could freely access information on reproductive health, it does not come from experts, so they may get invalid information. Schools or other health parties are also very minimal in providing counseling or training, especially about reproductive health. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and understanding of overcoming menstrual disorders, namely dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls at MTsN 1 Lhokseumawe City and to motivate teenagers to be creative and productive during menstruation, in order to become creative and productive teenagers. The method used in this community service was counseling with three stages of activities including the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The result of this activity was an increase in the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards the prevention of dysmenorrhea, the activity was carried out smoothly with good support and 100% attendance. It is hoped that partners will continue health education activities and are scheduled regularly.

Abstract

School Health Unit is a means to improve the ability to live healthy and the health status of students as early as possible in order to improve student achievement. The program was carried out to improve student health through health education programs, health services and fostering a healthy school environment as an activity in the School Health Unit (UKS) aimed at the school community. Meanwhile, in Blang Adoe Village, Kuta Makmur District, North Aceh Regency, there was SD Negeri 15 Kuta Makmur, which did not yet have UKS. For this reason, the community service team wanted to do community service by establishing UKS at SD Negeri 15 Kuta Makmur. The establishment of UKS was a health activity carried out in schools with students and their environment as the main target. UKS establishment can be continued to the stage of UKS development to improve the ability to live and eat healthily, the dangers of juvenile delinquency, reproductive health education and formation of healthy living behavior, which will result in optimal health status. The implementation of UKS involved elements of health workers, school officers, students, local government, parents of students and other groups in the community
