(Title: Revolutioning Communication in Novel “Kekasih Terjauh” by Dwitasari). The rapid development of technology is running these days. Progress in communication technology make communication between individuals easier and more convenient. The requirement for social interaction causes everyone need communication. Communication and literary works cannot be separated. The way of communication changes with the times. Language as an important element in literature also changes. There is internet which is change our perception about communication. This research will discuss the communication that occurs between the characters in the novel “Kekasih Terjauh” by Dwitasari. The problem in this research is about the revolutioning communication used by the characters in the novel “Kekasih Terjauh”. While the purpose of this research is to determine the the revolutioning communication that is taking place in the novel “Kekasih Terjauh”. The methodology used is descriptive analysis with literature study as a data collection technique. This research uses theory of character, setting, communication, and also sociology of literature.Keywords: communication, internet, revolution, technology

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan dunia Mikhail Bulgakov tentang apartemen komunal. Mikhail Bulgakov melalui kedua novelanya yang berjudul Собачье Сердце (Manusia Berjiwa Anjing) dan Роковые Яйца (Telur Fatal) mengkritisi kebijakan perumahan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Soviet. Ia sering menampilkan kekurangan yang ada di apartemen komunal di dalam kedua novela tersebut. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggambaran tentang apartemen komunal yang ada di dalam novela lahir dari pandangan duniaBulgakov dan bagaimana Bulgakov menggambarkan apartemen komunal dalam novela yang dibuatnya. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Teori strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann digunakan untuk menganalisis pandangan dunia Bulgakov. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandangan dunia Bulgakov memengaruhi penggambarannya tentang apartemen komunal yang ada di dalam kedua novela. Apartemen komunal digambarkan oleh Bulgakov sebagai tempat tinggal yang tidak nyaman, banyak aturan, dan tidak aman.

The Struggles of the Kretek Workers in Iksaka Banu’s Novel, Sang Raja (The King) Thera Widyastuti

Novel is able to present the development of one character, complex social situations, relationships involving many or few characters, and complicated events that occurred several years ago in detail. Novel The King was written by Iksana Banu, an famous Indonesian author and artist. He published the novel in 2017. The King tell the story about people who work in Kretek Cigarette factory. They have to struggle how to defend the cigarette factory from competition with other factories, and worldwide economic depression. The main character, Philip Gerardus Rechterhand, a Dutch man who borned in Indonesia. Intrinsic (character and setting), and extrinsic (sociology of literature, personality theory, and history) approaches are using to analyze this research. Kretek become part of society life, and many people have economic dependence on the kretek factory.

Fairy tales are often identified with messages to be conveyed to readers, and can also contain certain ideologies. Many studies have analyzed the relations between fairy tales and gender ideology. Therefore, the writer chose the Soviet film entitled Двенадцать месяцев 'Twelve Months' (1972) as the source of research data, because there are additional elements written by Marshak. The purpose of this research is to describe the actant scheme and the characterization in the film, and to analyze whether gender ideology is present in the film, and how the ideology is presented. The approach used is the Greimas' actantial model approach. The method used in this research is qualitative and descriptive analytical methods. The result of this research shows that there are still gender stereotypes in the film, which can be seen from the actantial schemes and the characterization of the characters.

Film pada umumnya mempersembahkan visual dan cerita yang mewakili penggambaran dunia nyata. Penelitian ini membahas mobilitas sosial kaum perempuan Soviet yang terpotret dalam film Москва Слезам Не Верит (Moskow Tidak Mengenal Sedih) karya Vladimir Menshov. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana kaum perempuan Soviet mengalami mobilitas sosial dan apa saja faktor di dibaliknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua teori: mobilitas sosial dan feminisme Marxist dan sosialis dan sebuah diskursus tentang fotografi. Untuk metode penelitiannya Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek sosial, politik dan budaya yang muncul di tengah masyarakat Soviet berdampak dan mendorong pergeseran posisi sosial kaum perempuan Soviet.

Novel Pasar karya Kuntowijoyo mengisahkan pertentangan yang terjadi antara Pak Mantri dan Kasan Ngali. Keduanya warga Kecamatan Gemolong. Pak Mantri bekerja sebagai mantri pasar Gemolong sudah puluhan tahun. Pengalamannya mengelola pasar sudah tidak diragukan lagi. Sedangkan Kasan Ngali adalah seorang pedagang kaya raya. Permasalahan dalam riset ini adalah bagaimana konflik yang terjadi dan melibatkan tokoh Pak Mantri dan Kasan Ngali. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui konflik yang terjadi di antara kedua tokoh tersebut. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode deskriptif interpretasi sosiologi sastra, dan teknik studi pustaka. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori konflik sosial dari Karl Marx. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik antara Pak Mantri dan Kasan Ngali mengenai pengelolaan pasar. Kehadiran pasar dan bank kredit milik Kasan Ngali membuat konflik sosial semakin luas karena Pak Mantri beranggapan bahwa kepentingan umum lebih utama daripada kepentingan pribadi. Pak Mantri melihat Kasan Ngali hanya ingin mencari keuntungan yang besar dari bisnisnya.

This research will analyze Russian poems by using the approach of sociology of literature. Poetry is a popular form in Russian literature. The presence of the poets with their works make people in the world know Russian literature. The poetsâ€™s journey to all over the world provide experiences that inspire their works. Nusantara as a region famous for its natural resources has attracted Europeans, and has inspired the Russian poets Esperovich Esper Ukhtomsky, Konstantin Dmitriyevich Balmont, Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov and Vladimir Yurievich Elsner. They wrote poems the beauty of the natural and cultural heritage, especially in Java. Borobudur, traditional music, traditional dance, and Botanical Gardens became theme in their poetry.

Animated is one of the film genre that is used as a tool of education for children. One of the animated series that is popular in Indonesia is Masha and the Bear. The friendship that exists between Masha and the bear is closely related to each other. This research focuses on examining the story of Masha and the bear's friendship in the episode entitled "Hopefully Get Well Soon" and the episode "/Sweet Life". This study used descriptive qualitative method. The theory used is semiotics and friendship. The results of the research findings reveal the value of friendship between Masha and the bear in four components of friendship, namely familiarity in interaction, trust between each other, acceptance in attitude and social, and support provided by both parties in a friendly relationship.

Penyerangan terhadap suatu suku bangsa menimbulkan konflik dan perlawanan. Semangat untuk membela bangsa muncul karena kepedulian terhadap kepentingan bangsa. Heroisme membangkitkan rasa percaya diri untuk maju membela kebenaran. Hal ini digambarkan dalam tokoh utama Тарас Бульба/Taras Bulba dan Хаджи Мурат/Hadji Murat. Kedua cerita pendek ditulis oleh pengarang-pengarang besar Rusia yang menampilkan tokoh utama mereka sebagai sosok berani dan cerdas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Teori tokoh dan penokohan serta sosiologi sastra digunakan untuk menganalisis. Pengenalan bangsa Indonesia terhadap karya-karya sastra Rusia dirasa masih kurang, sehingga penelitian tentang ini penting dilakukan agar lebih dikenal luas di Indonesia.
