Abstract

The level of reliability of a distribution system is very important to ensure the continuity of electricity supply to consumers. This research was conducted to calculate the Saidi reliability index and the Saifi 20 kV distribution system in Pinang PLN in 2017 with the help of the Matlab R2008a application. A GUI is one of the Matlab programs that is widely used in describing information and commands, and its users are possible to form and format themselves according to the needs of the system itself. With the help of this software, it is hoped that it will be easier to calculate the system reliability index, namely the calculation of SAIDI and SAIFI, then the results can be made so that the database is more organized. The calculation results obtained will show the highest and lowest SAIDI and SAIFI values ​​that occur in each of the current months, making it easier to evaluate, analyze and improve the reliability of the electrical power system network in the future, especially in PT.

Abstract

Masih banyaknya penggunaan peralatan listrik di rumah tangga yang tidak sesuai dengan prosedur yang benar dan standar yang ditetapkan oleh LMK (Lembaga Masalah Kelistrikan) PLN, rendahnya kualitas peralatan listrik dan kabel yang digunakan, serta intalasi yang asal-asalan dan tidak sesuai peraturan, menyebabkan terjadinya kebakaran. Sementara menurut data yang dikumpulkan oleh Dinas Kebakaran DKI sejak dari tahun 2009 s/d 2014 telah tejadi kebakaran sebanyak 5.226 kasus di mana 66 % disebabkan oleh listrik. Kegiatan sosialisasi bahaya dan keselamatan ketenagalistrikan yang dilakukan oleh dosen STT PLN merupakan bentuk dari kepedulian Sivitas Akademik STT PLN terhadap lingkungan sekitar kampus STT PLN untuk mengurangi dampak kebakaran yang diakibatkan oleh listrik.

Abstract

Gadget is an innovation of the latest technology with better ability, the shape can be a smartphone, laptop, computers and others. To be able to operate the gadgets required in the form of battery power. When the gadget runs out of power often confused gadget users to charge the battery because in certain conditions. The purpose of this study was to design a tool to help users gadgets run out of battery in a way that is easy and affordable. This study uses the method of literature review, interviews, designing, manufacturing project, test and produce a prototype, using solar panels as power efficient supplier. When the solar panels convert solar energy into electrical energy which is stored in Cell Battery then stabilize by the stabilizer circuit and power supplied via the USB Cable and finally the battery can be charged. This function helps the user gadget in charging the battery. Not only the battery charge, the tool also serves 220 Volt electrical energy saving and environmental advisor gadget users. Gadget users can use these tools for free as there are in public facilities. The results showed that the design of the charger gadget It helps the students and the community in solving the problem of charging the battery of the gadget.
